Everyone here is so sweet and helpful. They are family owned and you feel like part of the family when you come in, especially as a regular. Isabella is a talker, but she can back it up! I've had dresses taken in and hemmed and even an oversized romper fitted and fixed at the bust. Curtains, zippers, they do it all. I see some low reviews and I'm surprised. The work she does on wedding dresses is magical. I've had the opportunity to be around during some bridal fittings and she is so attentive to the bride's concerns and making sure she is happy. She teaches the MOH/family member and takes videos on how to tie bustles and bend hooks to ensure the bustle stays in place during ceremonies. And she warns that if you don't do this, it might come undone. She gives these little tips to ensure the day goes smoothly. read more

My first and last time here! I brought in an inexpensive dress that needed to be taken in and hemmed but when I went to check out my simple and inexpensive dress cost me $195. I had to put half down I was in shock and actually shaking, as I paid that for my daughter's wedding dress to be altered and hemmed. I should've in my right mind told them no way, but I felt guilt as they already pinned it. Then when I picked it up, I did not know there was a 3% charge for using a credit card. Another wasteful expense. If you have all the money in the world go for it, just remember you still are being ripped off and the quality is no different than any other alteration shop! I've had multiple bridesmaid dresses altered here so I was confident in bringing her my wedding dress to alter, but brides beware! I brought her my dress and explained in detail the alteration I wanted. It needed to be hemmed and taken in. I returned a few weeks later and tried on the dress and was completely heartbroken by how different the dress was. The lines and structure of the dress had completely changed and I could hardly get into the dress. It was so uncomfortable and I felt horrible in it. At this point though we were stuck as other seamstresses I called wouldn't touch a dress someone else had worked on. I tried to trust the process but ultimately it ended up costing over a thousand dollars and I ended up with a dress I hated. I felt horrible having my parents pay for a dress alteration that turned out so bad. Ultimately Bella didn't listen to what I wanted in a dress and just did what she wanted and what she felt would look good but that wasn't how I wanted to look on my wedding day. If you want to be heard and understood and feel good in your dress don't go here. I just wish we could get our money back. Oh and she says she'll give you a discount if you pay cash, but what she charges is robbery. read more

TLDR: I would NOT recommend Go2Bella to other brides. However, if you're desperate and need a lot of work done on any other dress, she is more than capable of doing the work. Just don't expect excellent workmanship. I really wanted to give Bella at least 4 stars, but after my experience I just can't do it. This is really a 2.5 rating. Don't get me wrong, she is a master tailor and has made gorgeous dresses. She gave me a pamphlet of her work. When you enter her beautiful shop, you will see her dresses displayed. She knows her work. Go2Bella is the preferred alterations service where I purchased my dress from. So naturally, I called Go2Bella to make an appointment. The first fitting was in the bridal shop and we agreed on the following to be altered: Bodice Side seams Hem Bustle (French & English) Add removable off-shoulder straps My grand total was originally $940! My mother and I had to pick up our jaws off the floor. However, Bella did not feel comfortable charging that much, so she lowered it to $752. I understand every dress is different, but I've been in plenty of weddings (the 27 Dresses movie was my life) and none of the brides I know spent anywhere near that. $450 max for the most complicated dress. She seemed to know what she was doing and assured us that she would make sure my dress was perfect for no additional charge. She also had great reviews on Yelp, so we figured maybe she's worth it. Not so much. Bella normally only does 2 fittings: 1st at the bridal shop and 2nd at her shop in Norcross. At the 2nd fitting, I brought my mother again as well as my sister and without saying a word, I knew exactly what they were thinking: that Go2Bella's workmanship was not "clean." By clean, I mean you could see some of the stitching, threads were sticking out, the side seams were not even, there was a bubble on one side, etc. My mother knows a thing or two about sewing. She's been sewing as a hobby her whole life, but she's not equipped to tackle on a wedding dress alteration. My sister had her wedding dress altered at another shop. They took her dress in from a size 10 to a 2 or 4, altered the sides, bust, hem, and added a beautiful bustle all for $400. We could not find anything wrong with it. The workmanship was excellent on her dress. Anyway, we had to schedule another fitting at Go2Bella. During the final fitting, we still noticed the bubble. They never removed it from the 2nd fitting. No biggie. She asked us to wait while she corrected it so I could take the dress home that day, a week before my wedding. She gave me an attitude that day when I calmly asked if the dress was crooked. I guess she was fed up with all the work she had to do to "perfect" my dress. After all, we're only paying her $752, right? I brought in a long veil to be steamed for $20. After all the agreed upon alterations + taking my dress in 2-3 sizes, the dress looked stunning. It fit my body well. Despite all that disappointment, I STILL recommended her to one of my bridesmaids who waited four days before the wedding to get her dress taken out 2 sizes and hemmed. Go2Bella charged her $160+, but that was my friend's fault for waiting at the last minute. I figured she didn't care about good workmanship at that point. Since Bella is master tailor, I knew she could take the dress out 2 sizes. Another bridesmaid got her dress hemmed there and was charged at least $60. My sister had the same bridesmaid dress hemmed elsewhere for only $45. Because of time constraints, we also had the flower girl's dress altered (take in and adjust straps) for $56. Back to my dress... I received numerous compliments throughout the day. However, within 3 hours of putting on the dress, ONE OF MY STRAPS BROKE! Lucky for me, it happened after the ceremony on our way to the reception. I had planned on removing them anyway so I could dance freely. I brushed it off, and took the blame on that one. Probably moved my left arm too much. It was time to party. Now this is what bothered me the most. MY BUSTLE KEPT FALLING! There are pictures of my sister fixing my bustle on the dance floor. I lost count on how many times she had to do it. It was frustrating to say the least. Come to find out, this happened to another bride I know who also used Bella this year. Proceed with caution if you decide to use her services. read more

WARNING! Please do not use this alterations shop. I only gave them one star because I had to in order to get this review posted. They ruined my dress that I was to wear to my daughter's wedding and that left me one week before I was to leave to run around to scramble to find a new dress and have it altered somewhere else. It was an expensive Kay Unger dress and they ruined it by ironing the back of the dress with too hot an iron and then tried to claim the dress was that way when I bought it. Dillards does not sell damaged dresses for one and for two I had the dress on over 20 times and there was not one mark on the back of that dress and they know it! Bella refused to pay for my dress and instead Check my dress to a local dry cleaner who backed her and stated that the marks had a pet in the dress. What a joke! She also was extremely aggressive and nasty with my daughter during her fittings with her wedding dress and completely ruined her experience and we had to take her dress somewhere else to be fixed after a seamstress at go2Bella ruined the lining and cut it so short you could see it through the dress. We had to have it ripped out and a new lining put in. They couldn't get the bodice right either. The other Alteration's shop we had my daughters wedding dress fixed at said it was the worst work she's ever seen. Also the entire time we were at Go2Bella, Bella kept telling us how she ruined another brides wedding dress and had to pay for her to have a new one. That should've been our warning to run out the door. Everything that happened at this shop was a tragedy! Please DO NOT use this business for alternations. YOU'LL BE SORRY! read more

So I have never ever used an alterations service before in my life. But for the first time I had a dress on which some of the stitching was unraveling. I hardly ever write reviews but I wanted to share my experience to save others from having a similar terrible experience and save themselves a lot of trouble and money. I just got married in August and bought my dress from Formally Yours in Lilburn who sent me to Go 2 Bella for my alterations. I custom ordered my dress to my size from Formally Yours and as such, it fit pretty well and did not need drastic alterations. I just needed a few minor alterations for hemming up, the train, and cinching it in a bit. I brought my dress in to Go 2 Bella and put it on for them to take my measurements and afterwards Bella gave me a quote for ~$700! My jaw dropped to the floor as that was almost as much as I paid for the dress itself! I told her that I was surprised as I was not expecting to pay that much for minor alterations and that it was out of my wedding dress budget. This is when things took a turn for the worst. As she walked away from me she yelled across the room, " You should have done your research on how much alterations cost before you came in here. That's the average cost. You wasted my time." She continued to attack me and disrespect me and then threatened me saying I could only leave her store if I gave my dress back to them so that could take out the pins. I could not believe the way she spoke to me and treated me in her store in front of other brides and customers! I was horrified that she would publicly embarrass me because I could not afford her alterations. I left crying and devastated. I yelped Alterations near me as I cried in my car in the parking lot and found Tina's Alterations a few miles away ( do not be thrown off by the humble exterior/interior of the shop). I immediately drove to Tina's Alterations and she gave me a quote for all the same exact alterations for $200! That was in line with my expectations for the cost of the minor alterations and it became clear to me that Go 2 Bella was extorting brides by charging more than double the normal cost and when brides did not comply, became threatening and attacking. Furthermore, Tina's alterations said it would be done in half the time (2 weeks) than Go 2 Bella's timing. I cannot say enough good things about Tina's alterations. They altered my dress perfectly, it fit like a glove and looked amazing and I am so happy with their customer service, price, and quality of work! If you are looking for an alterations place that does top notch work, has fair prices, and excellent customer service, go to Tina's Alterations! Hope this helps you ladies! read more

My fiancé and I was referred to this place by formally yours where we purchased the wedding dress from. I called to confirm the free consultation and quote and drove to the store. Upon arrival was met by Isabella and was immediately sent to the dressing room to put on her dress and begin adjustments. Isabella begins pinning my fiancé in a rapid fashion and after finishing we ask for a quote and she said $780. We advised Isabella that is over our budget and we cannot afford that. She begins to have a attitude, saying we wasted her time and that we should have said just a quote before pinning, even though we specified and made the appointment prior advising just a quote. For conclusion she states you go somewhere else and they mess up your dress. Which almost makes my fiancé cry. Isabella is a terrible person and never should be in a customer service job. Isabella might be good at alterations but is terrible at customer service skills. read more

I had the worst experience here. I had a formal altered and did not have time to try it on when I picked it up. When I wore it to a wedding, it was so long that people stepped on it all night. When I brought it back, the owner said she couldn't help me and she's not sure what shoes I wore when I went for my first fitting, etc.. Since I had a wedding to attend and didn't want to spend a lot, I accidentally found go2bella at P'Tree Corners. She is a master tailor who also does alterations.
