Alterations sheet. She was originally going to charge $940, but lowered it to $752.

TLDR: I would NOT recommend Go2Bella to other brides. However, if you're desperate and need a lot of work done on any other dress, she is more than capable of doing the work. Just don't expect excellent workmanship. I really wanted to give Bella at least 4 stars, but after my experience I just can't do it. This is really a 2.5 rating. Don't get me wrong, she is a master tailor and has made gorgeous dresses. She gave me a pamphlet of her work. When you enter her beautiful shop, you will see her dresses displayed. She knows her work. Go2Bella is the preferred alterations service where I purchased my dress from. So naturally, I called Go2Bella to make an appointment. The first fitting was in the bridal shop and we agreed on the following to be altered: Bodice Side seams Hem Bustle (French & English) Add removable off-shoulder straps My grand total was originally $940! My mother and I had to pick up our jaws off the floor. However, Bella did not feel comfortable charging that much, so she lowered it to $752. I understand every dress is different, but I've been in plenty of weddings (the 27 Dresses movie was my life) and none of the brides I know spent anywhere near that. $450 max for the most complicated dress. She seemed to know what she was doing and assured us that she would make sure my dress was perfect for no additional charge. She also had great reviews on Yelp, so we figured maybe she's worth it. Not so much. Bella normally only does 2 fittings: 1st at the bridal shop and 2nd at her shop in Norcross. At the 2nd fitting, I brought my mother again as well as my sister and without saying a word, I knew exactly what they were thinking: that Go2Bella's workmanship was not "clean." By clean, I mean you could see some of the stitching, threads were sticking out, the side seams were not even, there was a bubble on one side, etc. My mother knows a thing or two about sewing. She's been sewing as a hobby her whole life, but she's not equipped to tackle on a wedding dress alteration. My sister had her wedding dress altered at another shop. They took her dress in from a size 10 to a 2 or 4, altered the sides, bust, hem, and added a beautiful bustle all for $400. We could not find anything wrong with it. The workmanship was excellent on her dress. Anyway, we had to schedule another fitting at Go2Bella. During the final fitting, we still noticed the bubble. They never removed it from the 2nd fitting. No biggie. She asked us to wait while she corrected it so I could take the dress home that day, a week before my wedding. She gave me an attitude that day when I calmly asked if the dress was crooked. I guess she was fed up with all the work she had to do to "perfect" my dress. After all, we're only paying her $752, right? I brought in a long veil to be steamed for $20. After all the agreed upon alterations + taking my dress in 2-3 sizes, the dress looked stunning. It fit my body well. Despite all that disappointment, I STILL recommended her to one of my bridesmaids who waited four days before the wedding to get her dress taken out 2 sizes and hemmed. Go2Bella charged her $160+, but that was my friend's fault for waiting at the last minute. I figured she didn't care about good workmanship at that point. Since Bella is master tailor, I knew she could take the dress out 2 sizes. Another bridesmaid got her dress hemmed there and was charged at least $60. My sister had the same bridesmaid dress hemmed elsewhere for only $45. Because of time constraints, we also had the flower girl's dress altered (take in and adjust straps) for $56. Back to my dress... I received numerous compliments throughout the day. However, within 3 hours of putting on the dress, ONE OF MY STRAPS BROKE! Lucky for me, it happened after the ceremony on our way to the reception. I had planned on removing them anyway so I could dance freely. I brushed it off, and took the blame on that one. Probably moved my left arm too much. It was time to party. Now this is what bothered me the most. MY BUSTLE KEPT FALLING! There are pictures of my sister fixing my bustle on the dance floor. I lost count on how many times she had to do it. It was frustrating to say the least. Come to find out, this happened to another bride I know who also used Bella this year. Proceed with caution if you decide to use her services.

After buying my wedding gown from #FormallyYours, they recommended that I go to Isabella for the alterations. Isabella was a pleasure to work with and did a lovely job on my dress. It fit perfectly and I could not have been happier with her work.

Loved the back of my dress ! But this was the reason why I was so nervous about alterations!

It wiped the floor, so I started looking up alteration places that were close by and I couldn't find one lol so I drove past Tina's and ended up walking in. I don't know it just looked like the type of shopping center that would have an alterations situation. AND I WAS RIGHT. But I walked into Tina's. I was greeted immediately. The whole process took less than five minutes. I told her I had this really nice jacket that I just bought and it drug the floor. She asked how much I wanted to be taken up and I told her 1 inch so she had me put the jacket on stand in the mirror and she showed me 1 inch lol it was not enough so we went up 2 inches. I asked her if she was just going to fold it under and stitch it and she told me no she's going to cut everything, cut the fabric and sew it how the jacket is originally stitched. I will not be able to tell the difference. That is exactly what they did and now the cut is the perfect length and it looks seamless. Definitely better than me just going to buy a piece of double-sided fabric tape and trying to fold it in on itself and hope it holds. The service was $60 which is about normal and I didn't know what to expect on the timeframe, but they told me to come back in a week which I thought might've been a little long for 2 inches but I have never had anything altered. And also they did look like they had quite a bit of business in there waiting to be altered. But it definitely was ready by the day she told me to come back. I asked her if I need to call her they call me she said no you could walk in on Wednesday and pick it up. It definitely was ready and I lost my ticket and I described my item to her and she went to get it for me no problem. If I need anything, I'll be back. They did a great job.

I spent around $187.00 just for the alteration. I bring the jacket and show the ladies how unprofessional it looks and they start yelling and tell me why the jacket looks like this and that this isn't their fault. But I paid y'all to do a service that I was unhappy with. I didn't ask for a full refund just a partial refund and the deny me the refund and called the police and told them I was bulling. By asking for my money back. They DO NOT LIKE BLACK/BROWN PEOPLE!!!!!!! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSSINESS...

A Plus Alteration - The shoes had way too much space in between and she was able to adjust the spacing for me to make it look like a right fit.

Jamie, Heather, and the entire A+ team are the best of the best! If you are looking for perfection, professionalism, and genuine care for your wedding dress, look no further. For several weeks, they patiently, skillfully, and meticulously worked with me to make my gown flawless. Every single fitting was a joy - the shop has such a warm, elevated energy, and you constantly see other happy clients floating in and out. My ball gown is now absolutely PERFECT. When I first brought it in, it required complex, multi-layered alterations, and the A+ team delivered beyond my wildest expectations: - Custom Modular Sleeves: They created two stunning, interchangeable sets of sleeves so I can transition my look throughout the night. - The Perfect Hem: The length is tailored beautifully, allowing the gown to flow effortlessly. - Bespoke Groom's Accessories: They used the excess fabric from my dress to craft a matching bowtie and pocket square for my fiancé: a beautiful, sentimental touch. - A Showstopping Bustle: Instead of taking the easy route with standard clear buttons or basic hooks like other shops do, they hand-crafted five gorgeous, custom buttons using my gown's fabric. It is a work of art in itself. Most impressively, they conquered a MAJOR structural upgrade: a zipper along the side of the dress. While we initially weren't sure if the gown's design would allow it, Jamie and her team used their incredible expertise to make it happen flawlessly. Their level of technical skill is unmatched--they seamlessly pull off complex alterations that other shops simply cannot do. The ladies of A+ didn't just alter my dress; they became a cherished part of my wedding experience. This family-owned business has done two alterations for me and I'm very satisfied with the quality,…read moreservice, timeliness and prices. They take card transactions but in some cases, if you're rushing an order, they take cash. Things you should know: I. PARKING The alteration shop is within the Medlock Village Shopping Center plaza. There's a free private parking lot out front with available spaces. II. SERVICE Excellent ~ my first visit here was a stressful situation where I needed a bridesmaid dress altered ASAP. Jenny calmed my anxiety by reassuring me she could get it done for me and ready to pick up by the next day. They always have you try on the altered clothing before for your input & after the adjustment to make sure it fits accordingly. III. QUALITY Out of the two items they've altered, I couldn't even see where the new stitch work was made. I typically struggle with pants fitting my waist but the fit was perfect after Medlock Alterations did their changes to my slacks

I got a fast response via message from them so I decided to give them a try. They told me to bring the right shoes so they could measure accurately. I wouldn't have thought of that! The location is easy to find right off 141 and parking is a breeze in front. They have good hours, open til 630 and even open on weekend. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and her mom- by name since I'd made a arranged time they were expecting us! There was a really nice arrangement of masks while we waited to browse. Some of these were made with beautiful fabrics for formal events and in all the colors you could dream of. My daughter put on the gown for measuring and she was made to feel comfortable (this was her very first experience at a tailor service.) she was complimented on her look as well. The dress was ready in a quick timeframe and absolutely on time for our event. My daughter was pleased with the result- and attention to detail. The hem looks extremely professional. I recommend this business and will be back soon with more alterations.
