Tina does not do good work. Dropped off a purse to fix my zipper and she did not do anything to the purse. She took my money and thought she was going to fix the zipper. Left the purse for 2 wks and thought she was going to put in a new zipper and she did not do anything to it. Not worth going to her for anything. Confronted her about this and she said that it will cost more money. Scam all the way. Not a good person. read more

My best friend took her wedding dress here on September 26th 2024 and when we got it back 6 months later (3/18/25) it was butchered. The slip was significantly longer than the decorative layers of the dress, toole was cut uneven with some part longer than others, the bustle was not even in the correct spots, and it was too short on one side and too long on the other. We asked for a refund and were told no so we asked for $350 from the $550 total. We were argued with that it was fine and wedding dresses are uneven. She was adamant she could fix it but we had beyond lost our trust for her. She was more worried about the time taken on the dress (which truly looks rushed and like a kindergartner did it) than the actual work she did. If I was able to give 0 stars I would. read more

Tina had altered an outfit for me & I was pleased, so I went with my adult daughter to have a dress altered. A price was discussed & my daughter put on her dress. Tina added lots of pins & then went to her computer. She then announced a price more than 3x what was originally discussed. We both said let's just go with the original plan & price - Tina then got very angry and acted juvenile. She yanked the pins out of my daughter's dress leaving holes larger than they should've been. I dropped off some boy's pants to be hemmed. The lady was unbelievably rude but I was desperate and left them because I needed them back for my grandson's school dance in 10 days. She said I could retrieve them that day. I asked whether there was any way she could get to them sooner, explaining politely that this left no time for him to try them on and make sure the length was correct. She harshly repeated that I could pick them up that day. She was so abrupt, I couldn't believe it. My philosophy is you can catch more bees with honey rather than vinegar, so I tried to soften her mood by joking. That just resulted in her giving me a dirty look. I walked out of there perplexed. Today, I decided I would do the job myself rather than give her work, so I returned and picked up the pants. I was shocked when she dug them out of a laundry basket where she had thrown them. (They were unwrinkled when I dropped them off.) I called another nearby alteration shop - Y2K Cleaners and Alterations - which was glad to take my money and get the work done within my necessary time frame. I needed my dress to be altered last minute before homecoming, and so I came here. The lady who did my dress was very kind and helpful. The dress originally was too big, had shoulder pads, and some rips, which wasn't very cute. But she did such a great job on the short amount of time she had to work on it. When I received the dress back, it fit amazingly and was very beautiful. Her service was amazing and affordable. Tina was able to take my dress same day and alter it to fit my bigger bust. Even though this dress couldn't be let out, she was able to hem the bottom and use the extra material to add to the sides and sew a little of the "V" in the chest to reduce the cleavage.
