Not great. Took my BMW there to have a transfer case removed and replaced. Estimate was $500. As it turned out, they did not know how to do the job correctly. I stopped them when I realized they were unnecessarily removing the exhaust system. They charged me $160 to put back the parts they shouldn't have removed in the first place. I took the car to a shop that knew how to do it correctly. Took 2 hours and they charged $200. I told Dave how that shop did it. No comment, apology let alone refund. I would only go to Zeppelin for the simplest of jobs. Nothing major and certainly not for diagnostic work. If you know nothing about cars, this might not be a good choice. Gave it a second star because the shop itself quite nice. read more

Dave is the worst. I took my car in to have 4 issues repaired. He identified the biggest issue and quoted me a price that was way outside my budget, especially since I had never gone there before, a lot to risk on a shop I had no experience with. Also tried to charge me $900 for a catalytic converter, one I could get online for $250... When I asked him to look into the other issues and fix them (all unrelated to the "big" issue), and I would be back to have the other problem repaired at a later date he turned hostile and flat out refused to work on the vehicle. He claimed that if he worked on it and the problem I requested to not have fixed made further issues down the road that he would look bad and didn't want to have his name attached to any work on the car. When I saw I wasn't getting anywhere I asked what time and labor he had into it so far and he told me, around $130. I said "OK, why dont you write up the invoice and I'll be down later to pay" and he responded by hanging up on me. No "ok, sounds good", nothing but a click. They left thousands of dollars on the table. When I picked up he was nowhere to be found. Also they had parked my car with the windows down under some trees, allowing all sorts of leaves and debris to blow into the car. Just unprofessional and rude. Stay away from these jokers. read more

Unbelievable! Women should avoid this place. They took my sister for a ride! "Replaced" her brakes in a VW van for $700 and she continued having problems. After less than 100 miles she took it to another mechanic and they say it's the worst brake job they have ever seen and the brakes they used were warped - maybe already used. Atrocious. read more

First off, repair service estimates are not exact keep that in mind. All repair shops worth a reputation go by a standard algorithm for a repair . By this I mean if you have an alternator that need replacement, they go to the computer, looks up your vehicle and finds the parts that need replacement and voila, there is a book value of number of hours for service. Shops then multiplies by their published hourly rate and tells you the labor. Parts, well most will quote you parts from reliable sources that they routinely buy from with warranty. That being said, timeliness to get your part does come with a cost . Yes you can find it cheaper but you'll have to wait for delivery or go there and get it So for the service with Zeppelin works. All cars need repairs at some point in their life, know your vehicle and potential cost so the sticker shock is not there. Parts are expensive and not the fault of the shop. Quality labor is worth every dime. I've had this shop perform work on my porsche turbo without any issues. They were prompt, on time to deliver as promised and pleasant to deal with along with a wealth of knowledge. I also knew going in what the general associated cost were with the repair. read more

This garage is the best, and the technicians are honest, highly skilled, and meticulous. Ryan worked on my van, and they're lucky to have him. He took the time to explain and show me the work he had done. I had them work on my 1999 Eurovan camper which can be a bear to work on. They gave me an estimate and stuck to it though they ended up having to put a lot more time into it. Van is running like a champ and in the future, I wouldn't take it anywhere else. I went back to have the power steering unit replaced. It was installed correctly, and I appreciate that. However, a few warning signs popped up for me -- after I picked up the car, I set it up on jacks at home and scanned the whole car (I've learned to do that now after picking up from the shop). The rubber insulation housing on my metal fuel line was cleanly sliced through (I asked my adult son to look at it and he agreed -- not torn or worn away -- sliced!), the high pressure hose (an expensive piece) on the power steering was now leaking (I had checked it FOUR TIMES over a week after power spraying the unit down -- all hoses were clean, flexible and working fine -- absolutely no oil on my gloves when pressure applied to the hose joints), and, worst of all, the transmission coolant line had been loosed where it joins the oil pan. I now have a major transmission leak which I absolutely know for a fact was not there before I took the car in because I regularly service the car myself. I was under the car a few days before taking it in -- absolutely no moisture at that joint before, no drips on that end of the car occurring on the driveway. I've seen these tricks before at other shops -- the main repair is done right, but then leaks, tears, holes, etc. mysteriously show up elsewhere. I would give these guys a one-star rating for this second job because of these issues, except that the power steering unit installation was done well, so I have to give them credit for that. This is ridiculous -- I would have been a loyal customer and taken the car in for several thousand dollars worth of restoration work, if they had just been upfront and honest, done their job right and left the rest of the car alone. These sabotage tricks don't work -- they make people mad! I don't take my car back to a place that treats me like a stooge. Also: a woman was in the office when I arrived to drop off my car. She said that Dave had given her an estimate of $80 to repair her coolant system, which had failed out on the road. These guys had installed a new engine for her a couple months previously, but then the coolant system fails. Hmmm. So Dave comes out with a written estimate for $192. She asked him how it had risen from $80 to $192. He didn't really have an answer, just said they would have to pressure test the system in addition to a visual inspection. You can get a pressure test at a local radiator shop for free, and a visual inspection of hoses takes 10 minutes. She asked if the $192 would include the cost of the repair, and he changed the subject. I didn't say anything, but that was a warning sign in my mind. She authorized the job anyway, but it was clear she was confused, unsure and a bit upset by the sudden change in estimate without an explanation, and her paperwork didn't seem to account for the jump in expected price. This didn't happen with my job, but if it had, I would have turned around and left. Although their work is good, they act fishy and I did catch some actual sabotage to my car. Be forewarned, approach with caution, be on your toes if you go here -- better yet, find someone else who keeps their prices down and doesn't sabotage your vehicle. read more

Had issues with my car not starting every day after use so I ended up calling boradori for repair, they in turn referred me to this lovely institution. I had an original estimate that whatever was wrong would cost around 139$. I get a call 2 hours later and the lowdown was that the alternator had an issue and my serpentine belt was bad. The total damage came out to the sticker shock of 750 and if I wanted to get a new battery put in it would cost an additional 200... Obviously the price did not seem right and I definitely did not have the money to put down for a sucker price. So I decided to look online for the part he said cost 500 for rebuilt starting and up to 1300 for a new part. I google search the part and viola the part is only 89$ starting. I thought maybe it could be that my car is difficult to work on, so I got other estimates outside the area. First mechanic I call regarding the repair he quotes me 340$ for a new part that includes labor or have a rebuilt for 275$. I decided to try to get one more quote to make sure, and behold it came out to 350$. I guess these guys just love ripping people off. I wish integrity was more valued in this industry. read more

Before going to Zeppelin Works I was a little worried about picking the right mechanic to take my BoxsterS too. I thought the worst was going to happen; that they would try to push things on me, replace things that didn't "really" need to be replaced, scare me into a repair, or the worst, break something knowing I'd have to come back. And who knows - maybe they did, but the last three times I have been there for service I have had nothing but awesome and reliable service (knocking on wood). Dave (the owner) mentions things that will need attention soon but does not heckle you into another repair. Price is about what you can expect for services on Porsche, BMW, etc, and is very knowledgeable about all things Porsche. Overall very satisfied and will continue to return. read more

Been going to him for many years, and have known dave since 2008, things have changed a lot over the years, Dave does not work on cars anymore, and this will be the last time i bring my Porsches to him!! Very rude!! I asked him to get me a quote on brake service on my Cayenne S and fix the rear passenger door lock. Now I have changed brakes on my 911 and other cars, but he proceeds to tell me all the "challenges" of changing brakes on the Cayenne and convinces me to do them with him, but after the final quote ($2000.00)...I decided to do the brakes myself and save a grand, which is a considerable amount of money that I can use elsewhere, thus I asked him to just replace the door lock. Next morning he called me saying car is ready, but when I came over to pick up my car, he had done nothing...and says to me with a smart grin - I guess you can do lock yourself too!!! WTF!!! There are other guys in town without the attitude, I guess dave is too busy ripping other people off!! read more
