Craige at Younique has been fixing my car and pickup fot ten years now. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. He really knows his stuff and is honest as the day is long. He's reasonable too. I initially went to him after two other mechanics failed, yet billed me, to get my pickup fixed. He rebuilt my carburetor and it has been running good ever since. Kevin was extremely helpful with the whole process, he called me when my car was done & reported that the stud wasn't broken but needed a dee clean. Terrible customer service. I was referred to this shop to have my wheel stud fixed. Upon arriving to the shop as they open, the guy working says I need an appointment. Understandable. Then I tell him the issue and let him know I already have the replacement part. He then tells me he cant do it until late the next week. Replacing the stud takes less than half an hour. What a joke that they would say I have to wait a whole week. I should have went elsewhere instead of waiting for this place to open. read more

I was referred to this shop several months ago from a couple of different car owners at the Durham Harvest Festival car show. Boy am I glad. I have taken my car to Craig for a cracked exhaust manifold and a few other smaller maintenance jobs since then and each time, I am so pleased with his work. He is very open and honest, reasonably priced, very knowledgeable and does (in my opinion) the best work in town. On top of all that, he is just a great guy. I have been going to Younique even before it was Youique... I have always had a great experience, Craig, Kevin and the rest of the crew always do a great job. But recently they went above and beyond in dealing with an on-going intermittent starting problem on my 03 Ford F-350. I had taken it to the local Chico Ford dealer for some recall work and asked them to also look into the problem I was having. They thought the recall fix and another $ 850 had solved the issue... wrong! I returned a week or so later and asked them to re-check the problem. They had my truck two plus days and it started for them every time, of course. They started it about eleven times told me it was fine and charged me $250... to start it eleven times, that works out to $22 per start and when I got it back the problem still persisted. Back to Younique... after multiple times of trying to diagnose the problem, none of which they charged me for, they finally found the problem and repaired overnight. I may or may not buy another Ford, but whatever I buy I can assure you I will be continuing to use Younique. I have never met more dependable and honest mechanics. Craig is such a great mechanic that I would invite him to my kids' weddings, if and when I have kids. This one time, we thought it was my starter that needed to be replaced. I was charged, work was done, but he said that he could not get my truck to start 10 out of 10 times like he wanted. Turned out I also had a blown head gasket, but because he already charged me for the starter, he did it for free. Years later, my truck was totaled, and he drove over toe Collision Pros to check it out to tell me for sure. I did not know who he was before I showed up one day with my truck, and he quickly became one of the people I trusted most in Chico. Do not even consider taking your vehicle anywhere else. read more
