    Grilled Chicken BLT Wrap

YUM! I've been here a handful of times recently, as it's become my favorite diner in the area, and each time the food is so delicious! I've only been here on weekdays so it's very quiet and not busy which I love. The servers are friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty! I've had a breakfast platter with home fries that was excellent, and grilled and fried chicken wraps with fries which is also so good! The fries are great here. I can't wait to try other items on the menu as this feels less like a typical diner and more like a restaurant to me!

Old school quality and hospitality. You will get prompt service, and coffee is readily available. Probably quality Arabica beans. You can't go wrong with whatever you decide but we ordered the Black Forest Burger multiple times and ate every bit each time. The salad was fresh and plentiful with delicious chicken added. Highly recommend you save room for their cheesecake. Prices are friendlier than competitors with high quality real food. It's a favorite local spot.

The food was delicious, very straightforward in the presentation in terms of the classic food you could order at an American diner. The service was great, our server was fun and upbeat, and she checked in often. The reason I am not giving the 5 stars is due to the lack of concept in space planning. For example, the booth tables are bolted to the wall, offering a huge gap for shorter patrons, especially kids. I also wanted to give honest feedback on the coffee because I think it was below average, and left me feeling like I couldn't taste the coffee.

My wife and I love diners so when we don't know what we want, we often end up at one. We live in Middletown but decided to try a new spot as the local spots are pretty average. We learned this one is a bit more average than the others. We were pretty disappointed in the food and attentiveness of the server. Take a look at my $14 French Dip sandwich with seriously TWO pieces of roast beef on it, on a flat, soggy roll. It's something I could have made at home. I'm not asking for gourmet but how about a nice toasted french bread for a french dip? Not a cross between a ShopRite hot dog/hamburger bun. And maybe 4 pieces of french dip so it's not a flat sandwich I ate in elementary school? I've never had such a skimpy sandwich outside of my house. My wife got the pancake platter with bacon and eggs over easy. Eggs were overcooked, no runny yolks, which ruined it for my wife. Bacon was good, pancakes pretty good. Waitress never asked how things were and I wasn't in the mood to complain on a holiday week so we just paid and left. All the waitresses just stood and socialized with people they knew for the most part. Probably won't be back.

Food is on point, New Jersey always have some of the best diner as long as you stick with the local diners not the franchised ones, the service is fast the server is friendly and welcoming, the ambiance is good, old and nicely maintained. Laid back and just relaxing

Very typical Jersey diner! The menu is standard and you'll get exactly what your memory is expecting being that you're at a diner in NJ. I was able to be seated no problem on a Sunday morning. The waitstaff was very friendly.

I visited Yellow Rose Diner on a Thursday afternoon. The diner is located at 41 Broad St, Keyport, NJ, with ample parking available in the vicinity. The cost for one person was about 20 dollars. I ordered eggs, home fries, a side, and a drink. Which for the price is pretty reasonable. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the hostess and promptly seated. The diner exuded a charming retro vibe, with clean and well-maintained interiors. The staff appeared friendly and attentive, ensuring that all guests were promptly attended to. During lunch hour it was busy even on a thursday, but despite that I still got seated quickly and got food within 20 mins since arrival. Overall Yellow Rose Diner in Keyport, NJ, offers a delightful dining experience with its charming ambiance, attentive service, and delicious comfort food.

I came here after seeing a band with friends .I wasn't sure what to expect when we pulled up, it didn't look like your typical diner. It looked more like a small 80's mom and pop diner from the past. There was plenty of seating, there was only my group and one other couple in the place at the time. We were immediately seated by a very nice hostess. It took awhile for our waitress to come over. Our waitress was very nice , she even offered to brew my friends a fresh pot of decaf. The menu had a little bit of everything on it. There is daily specials and a Senior Citizen's menu that is discounted. I ordered the Fried Chicken Salad. A large bowl of mixed greens, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, tossed with cheddar cheese and sliced egg with fried chicken fingers and honey mustard dressing on the side. The salad was a nice size and the honey mustard made the salad. It was very filling and hit the spot. My friend ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with well done fries. The Cheeseburger was big and the fries were cooked to her liking. My other friend got the Garden Fresh Spinach Salad with Grilled Chicken. She liked her salad and ate it up. Another friend ordered the Chicken Portobello sandwich and fries. Everyone enjoyed their food. I'm giving the Yelkow Rose 3 stars because the place needs some updating and it wasn't busy and the service was a bit slow. I will say everyone was very nice. I would return because our food was good and it's close by where we were.

Why the hate for this spot?…read more Is it fancy? Hell no, but that's the point. Up the creek is a no-frills hybrid sports-dive-bayside bar that serves up cheap food, cheap drinks, and cheap company, in the best possible way. You're not coming here to be fancy, you're coming to watch the Mets, Yankees, Giants, or Jets on one of the huge TVs they have everywhere, while sucking down 3$ beers, and when the time calls for it, a porkroll* with cheese on a roll and an order fries. You can choose the bar, a high top, or the outdoor bar when the weather is nice enough (you'll always find me at the bar). There are some stairs to get up here, but you'll be rewarded with a view of the marina...and route 35....and if you look hard enough the parkway....ok there are stairs that lead up to a bar, that's all you gotta know. It's the perfect spot to catch the game and hang with the locals. Come in, say hey to Linda, and drink enough that you need some greasy food to make everything feel better. Doesn't get much better in my humblest of opinions. _____________________ *Call it "Taylor ham" and you're dead to me.

Staff were beyond friendly. Cons -- THE FOOD!! We had pork belly and duck confit appetizer. Pork belly was drenched in sauce and overcooked. Duck dish was good but was a spread and served with such a small amount of bread. Main courses -- presentation was terrible -- i ordered NY Strip with french fries and veggies. Hubby ordered jambalaya -- both dishes were served luke warm and looked as though they had been sitting. French fries were all tiny pieces as if they were at the bottom of the fryer. The steak was a poor cut. The jambalaya lacked flavor. The protein on the dish was all overcooked. Dessert THE Elvis -- sounded sooo delicious but was basically a spoonful of peanut butter. Even the ice cream they served with it could not drown out the overpowering peanut butter flavor. I did enjoy the cappuccino. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and he didn't even eat his meal. It was that bad. Sadly, one and done for us. I know they changed their menu so perhaps this is not their best lineup but I cannot forgive the terrible presentation. The price point for what they are presenting its insane.

He recommended his signature cocktail, the Orange Cosmopolitan, and all I can say is WOW. Perfectly made and dangerously good--they definitely sneak up on you! He checked in on us throughout the evening, always friendly and engaging, which truly elevated the experience. The food was just as impressive: Pollo Milanese - a perfectly cooked chicken cutlet topped with fresh mozzarella, arugula, cherry tomatoes, onions, shaved Parmesan, and a bright lemon vinaigrette. Pollo Carbonara - topped with prosciutto, spinach, peppers, and fontina cheese, served over penne pasta. Alaska Chicken (special) - stuffed chicken with shrimp, roasted tomatoes, spinach, and cheese in a rich cream sauce, served with saffron risotto. Absolutely delicious. For dessert, we shared a toasted almond cake and a caramel cheesecake cone--paired with cappuccinos, of course. The perfect ending to a great meal.
