For parents who simply want to support or supervise their kids, this feels unnecessary and discouraging. Many recreation centers allow parents to watch activities without charging them a full entry fee. Seems like this would also be a lift for the Center re: liability. I hope the Rec Center considers revisiting this policy so parents can attend their kids' activities without having to pay for services they aren't using.

Our 3 hr unguided trip had to be changed to a 2 hr guided trip only when I called two days prior to check on the trail conditions. We otherwise would have shown up the morning of with that surprise. So you can imagine the pricing had to change too, which required a lot of discussions. They do not allow refunds (even when they can't deliver what you signed up and paid for)- only allow reschedules which doesn't work well if you are visiting. The trail was great, however, we were only on the snowmobiles for 1:30 hours, or two hours.

My wife and I didn't feel like doing the usual fancy dinner for Valentine's Day this year, and wanted something a little more unique. When we saw that Peaks was putting on an event, we jumped at the chance. We checked in and got our skates easily. No waiting and service was friendly. They had two rinks open, and on one of the rinks, they had an area closed off where you could use red pens to write love notes on the ice. We drew pictures and notes alongside other couples and families, and when we were done it was fun to skate around and look at everyone else's. It's also pretty cool to know that you're skating on Olympic ice. Even more exciting with the Olympics coming up again. They also had food trucks outside, which is always a nice addition to an event. We really enjoyed everything overall, and hope they do more in the future. The only big con was they advertised a BOGO deal for the event, but they charged us full price.

VERY fun place for all ages…read more This is my favorite trampoline park for my young kids because they have a spot specifically set aside for the 0-6 year olds. They get in cheaper as well. There is a set of trampolines, a gym section with large wave slides and climbing equipment, lots of toy cars and small slides for babies, tiny little chairs, and the greatest highlight of all : the kid trapeze into a foam pit. Another MAJOR perk is the small kid section is blocked off with a gate so I don't worry about my kiddos wandering off as much! For older kids, teens, adults, there are super awesome much larger foam pits with trapeze things and rope swings and monkey bars and all that fun stuff. There is even a ninja course!!! How cool is that??!! This really is a great, affordable place to entertain your family for a couple hours. 4 stars because I wish it felt cleaner. 5 stars for fun and price. We did not get very far as the kayak was so squirrely it was impossible to steer on Utah Lake without the fins. We headed back to shore and realized the kayak had also begun to take on water. We checked that we'd secured the plugs and valves correctly and we had, so there must have been a leak. Extremely disappointed with the product condition. The seats on the kayak were also placed in an uncomfortable way and offered no support when paddling, but that is more of a design flaw rather than the responsibility of the renters. When we took it back, I explained the issues we'd had and the store employee said they don't give out the fins since "they get lost and it doesn't really make a difference in the steering." I disagreed but he said it just depends on the person who's paddling in the back. I also told him about the possible leak and he just said they'd take a look and give us store credit if there was a problem. I told him not to bother in that case as we will not be coming back. I hope others have a better experience, but we were sorely disappointed in the rental product and the customer service.
