Came to check out the swimming pool but ended up in the playground area which was free and fun. My two favorite F's! Will be back to rate the swimming pool K bye

I've started using the Provo Rec Center a few months ago and I'm in love. Never crowded. Clean. Great machines and weights. Awesome facility.

The Provo rec center has become a light in my life! Their facilities are top of the line, clean, and very fun. The staff is helpful, kind, and informative. The areas I use most frequently are the gym upstairs, the classrooms, the indoor and outdoor pool, and child watch. Their child watch has made all the difference for me as a mother! I love that there is an affordable and safe environment to leave my child while I workout. For $25 a month, it's a steal. The exercise machines, weights, and treadmills cover all the bases. This is, by no means, solely a gym so they don't have the space/amount of equipment that a vasa does. That being said, I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for anything. The indoor and outdoor pools are Amazing. They have so many different water features that keep children entertained for HOURS. Not to mention, me and my adult friends I love the Provo rec center.

Living in Orem with kids, we LOVE the provo rec center! There is something for everyone to enjoy and the facilities are so nice and clean. Our kids have done swimming lessons, basketball and baseball here. They've loved every one! They also love to watch the jumping fountain when we leave! My husband and I both have passes to the rec center so we can work out, play racquetball and take our kids swimming when we want to. They have a child care service that is only $3 an hour. I wish there were older people taking care of the kids there though, because the young teens often look like they'd rather be anywhere else! Overall we appreciate this asset to our community and will keep coming back for more!

Way to go, Provo! This place is AMAZING! There are too many features to list, like gyms for basketball, indoor track, weights galore, and 5 star pools. My daughters and I attended an Aqua Zumba class taught by Sariah and she had our heart rates up the WHOLE time. I've had fun with Zumba and other dance classes "on land" for years but can't hop/twist around anymore because of my knees. So, this is the perfect solution! Up to our shoulders in water, it provided wonderful resistance for the upper body and well! Sariah was very animated, personable, and lead very well. She would signal where to move next and had great routines! My daughter attends regularly and I'm going every time I visit!

When I moved to Utah, I was having a hard time figuring out where the best place to workout would be. There are some many chain and local gyms to choose from... but the best place truly is Provo Rec Center. They have so many amazing fitness classes- RIP, pump, Zumba, high fitness, and yoga! I love that they have some during all times of the day. They have a huge pool, basketball area, indoor water park, outdoor water park, tennis courts, and even a skate park! They also have an offsite fitness center located in the Peaks Ice Arena called The Fieldhouse. They have weight lifting classes, circuit training, and free floor availability. They have TRX bands, grass area, and lots of weightlifting equipment. At the downtown rec center, the only issue is parking during busy times of day- especially after work.

Although there was a LOT of people, it's summer, it was still fun and beautiful place. I'm glad they have this for the community.

My wife and I didn't feel like doing the usual fancy dinner for Valentine's Day this year, and wanted something a little more unique. When we saw that Peaks was putting on an event, we jumped at the chance. We checked in and got our skates easily. No waiting and service was friendly. They had two rinks open, and on one of the rinks, they had an area closed off where you could use red pens to write love notes on the ice. We drew pictures and notes alongside other couples and families, and when we were done it was fun to skate around and look at everyone else's. It's also pretty cool to know that you're skating on Olympic ice. Even more exciting with the Olympics coming up again. They also had food trucks outside, which is always a nice addition to an event. We really enjoyed everything overall, and hope they do more in the future. The only big con was they advertised a BOGO deal for the event, but they charged us full price.

Instead of helping or apologizing mid-crisis, a male employee knelt down and told her, "This is why we don't run," while she was crying and bleeding. Completely insensitive and unprofessional. If running isn't allowed, there should be signs or better supervision. An exposed zip tie in a kids' play area is absolutely unacceptable. Plus, what would you expect?? If it's a KID playground, there should be at least one employee or attendant nearby watching them if running wants to be avoided.

The FlowRider is AWESOME!!!…read more My wife and I made the trip up from Las Vegas for my birthday over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. We booked a surf lesson at 2PM, but due to some timing issues had to move it to 3PM which the team was more than helpful in accommodating. It's hard to believe it can be as cold as the high 20s outside and you're inside catching waves on the FlowRider. The pool area is well heated and the water was warm. There are plenty of grandstands for people to sit and spectate. They have lockers to hold / secure your stuff while you catch waves. They have bathrooms for changing, and showers to clean up after (the only thing I wish they had was more areas in the bathrooms to hang or set your stuff down while you shower or change. Even a small foldaway table would have been helpful). Our lesson was essentially a 60 minute private since my wife and I were the only two in the session. Our instructor John was super friendly, helpful, and informative. He gave us a quick overview and had us riding waves within the first few runs, and if you wiped out (which is pretty painless and fun) he'd have some pointers for you for your next run. We each would do 3-4 runs and then trade off and as long as we had the energy John was at the ready to help catch waves. This was a total five star experience, and I can't wait to do it again! It looks like they also have GA type session where you pay the hourly fee and it's open to the public for everyone to use in turn. However, I'd highly recommend a lesson if it's your first time out. You can also rent either half or whole of the FlowRider by the hour should you have a private event or just want to hone your skills.

I figured it wasn't meant to be. But then we took a drive to Heber, and I saw a big sign for High Country Adventure. Looked up their site, called to see what our options were. No problem! Book on the site! So we did. It was great. Checkin went fine. Getting life jackets went smooth. Loading on the bus and getting up to the drop off point was a breeze. Waited for our raft and guide to hail us, then we loaded up and headed down River. Nice and relaxing ride down. After the fact, I looked up reviews. I can imagine any of the poor reviews happening since all the staff seem young. Luckily for us, everyone was fine the day we went. (I've been to plenty of other places in the area that have terrible customer service from high school/young peeps, lol!) Our guide was fantastic. The rest of our group was with another guide that they raved about. I've floated the River years before when we rented tubes from BYU. It was such a pain to haul them to the river, have two people drive a car down river, and then everyone load up and drive up river. High Country Adventure makes it super easy and convenient to get to and on the River. Glad we found them! We've already recommended them to friends, and will be back!
