The FlowRider is AWESOME!!!…read more My wife and I made the trip up from Las Vegas for my birthday over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. We booked a surf lesson at 2PM, but due to some timing issues had to move it to 3PM which the team was more than helpful in accommodating. It's hard to believe it can be as cold as the high 20s outside and you're inside catching waves on the FlowRider. The pool area is well heated and the water was warm. There are plenty of grandstands for people to sit and spectate. They have lockers to hold / secure your stuff while you catch waves. They have bathrooms for changing, and showers to clean up after (the only thing I wish they had was more areas in the bathrooms to hang or set your stuff down while you shower or change. Even a small foldaway table would have been helpful). Our lesson was essentially a 60 minute private since my wife and I were the only two in the session. Our instructor John was super friendly, helpful, and informative. He gave us a quick overview and had us riding waves within the first few runs, and if you wiped out (which is pretty painless and fun) he'd have some pointers for you for your next run. We each would do 3-4 runs and then trade off and as long as we had the energy John was at the ready to help catch waves. This was a total five star experience, and I can't wait to do it again! It looks like they also have GA type session where you pay the hourly fee and it's open to the public for everyone to use in turn. However, I'd highly recommend a lesson if it's your first time out. You can also rent either half or whole of the FlowRider by the hour should you have a private event or just want to hone your skills.

Instead of helping or apologizing mid-crisis, a male employee knelt down and told her, "This is why we don't run," while she was crying and bleeding. Completely insensitive and unprofessional. If running isn't allowed, there should be signs or better supervision. An exposed zip tie in a kids' play area is absolutely unacceptable. Plus, what would you expect?? If it's a KID playground, there should be at least one employee or attendant nearby watching them if running wants to be avoided.

The daily fee is $5.50 for kids $6.50 for adults which is pretty impressive and affordable. One thing my daughter complained about, was they kept closing the sliding de area due to poop episodes so that's pretty gross, but I guess at least they close it to treat it?

If you come from out of town it's $10 parking. If you live in Springville you get a free parking pass but you have to get it from the town hall. Playground is large, lots of different levels. Multiple slides, climbing structures, bridges, animal statues to explore. They have a zipline and swings (multiple types). Along with the park they have a skate park, pump track and gated soccer area. Multiple open grass fields as well. When visiting the splash pad was still under construction as workers seemed to be sealing the concrete. It looks like it's almost done. It will be cute boat style splash pad. Lots of shaded table areas, multiple bathrooms and drinking fountains.

While my 10 and 8 year olds fulfill their mountaineering dreams my little can bring me peace swinging on the baby secure swings and preschool fire truck slide. This park also provides basketball courts, large grass field, stage, bathrooms, water fountains (yes, more than one), spout, and a large pavilion with picnic tables. Once through the paths, you come out to the small-ish lake where there's a path that leads you all the way around, with plenty of opportunities to go back out to another path. It was semi-busy when we went during a weekday afternoon, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I'd like to come back with my bike and to bring my dog back to possibly swim. I saw a swimming area, but people were fishing nearby, and I knew that my dog would ruin their game! Lovely for a solo / family or date outing on a sunny afternoon or sunsetting evening.
