Las Vegas for kids is the first thing that came to my mind when I entered in that place. I was expecting one of those places where kids go and practice surf in closed space but with huge windows for everyone to see. However, once inside (you don't have to pay unless you consume activities and they have the price for the different types of activities you can do) it was surprising to me how many things you can do there. The walking in ropes was scary for me to watch (no matter if everything is supposed to be very safe). Then there is bowling, games, fast-food restaurants and meanwhile us the adults talking non stop and being annoyed by the many lights and noises. Not my kind of place but the kids in our group enjoyed and approved the Provo Beach experience.

Decent selection of activities to chose from. We did the ropes course. Which for 30 minutes costs $8/pp. less than thanksgiving point and just as good. They also have bowling, croquet, laser tag and many other games. Seemed a little short staff but it was a weekday. Staff was helpful and nice despite it being pretty busy. Fairly clean place too.

The flowrider is super fun, but their scheduling system is absolutely awful. Be ready to show up and not surf. It's happened multiple times.

Arcade games were fun and inexpensive, laser tag was too much fun and the bowling and croquet were great ways to cool down and still have fun!

Skates are old and laces are in dire need of replacement. There appeared to be 3 rinks that I saw. Several hockey teams practicing. My wife and I didn't feel like doing the usual fancy dinner for Valentine's Day this year, and wanted something a little more unique. When we saw that Peaks was putting on an event, we jumped at the chance. We checked in and got our skates easily. No waiting and service was friendly. They had two rinks open, and on one of the rinks, they had an area closed off where you could use red pens to write love notes on the ice. We drew pictures and notes alongside other couples and families, and when we were done it was fun to skate around and look at everyone else's. It's also pretty cool to know that you're skating on Olympic ice. Even more exciting with the Olympics coming up again. They also had food trucks outside, which is always a nice addition to an event. We really enjoyed everything overall, and hope they do more in the future. The only big con was they advertised a BOGO deal for the event, but they charged us full price.

I figured it wasn't meant to be. But then we took a drive to Heber, and I saw a big sign for High Country Adventure. Looked up their site, called to see what our options were. No problem! Book on the site! So we did. It was great. Checkin went fine. Getting life jackets went smooth. Loading on the bus and getting up to the drop off point was a breeze. Waited for our raft and guide to hail us, then we loaded up and headed down River. Nice and relaxing ride down. After the fact, I looked up reviews. I can imagine any of the poor reviews happening since all the staff seem young. Luckily for us, everyone was fine the day we went. (I've been to plenty of other places in the area that have terrible customer service from high school/young peeps, lol!) Our guide was fantastic. The rest of our group was with another guide that they raved about. I've floated the River years before when we rented tubes from BYU. It was such a pain to haul them to the river, have two people drive a car down river, and then everyone load up and drive up river. High Country Adventure makes it super easy and convenient to get to and on the River. Glad we found them! We've already recommended them to friends, and will be back!
