My daughter attended a year end party here and it is pretty fun down. I don't even know if they were monitoring the kids coming and going to be honest. It had a skating rink. The skates are older. They had pvc roller skating trainers which were cool but my daughter only put the skates on for 2 min before deciding that's not what she wanted to do. They have several bounce houses. They had mini golf but I didn't get a look at it. Several arcade like games. I didn't order food or drink. If you're into older nostalgic skating places this is for you! I think there's one closer to our home so I doubt come this far again. read more

Take me back to the days of the disco ball, backward skating to show off your mad skillz and the occasional "snowball" song! Classic Fun Center does just that. This center is both skating rink and arcade, which should appeal to most of the kids.You'll find regular roller skates, blades and even scooters out on the floor. (I saw a couple strollers too, but I think those were being pushed by rule breakers.) The rink is well loved, and some areas show that. And the staff is mostly young people, so give them a break if they struggle to keep up with the crowds. The food is pretty meh, but they are catering to hungry kids and teenagers, so the standard isn't high. Overall, this is a fun place to come wear out the kiddos or revert back to your middle school days, if you're one of the lucky parents that can still show off your moves out there. read more

I love skating rinks but classic skate in Orem was pretty disappointing. The rink is really small compared to other places I've been. The ground is super bumpy and uneven making it harder to skate. Also most of the rentable skates have issues and for someone who is decent at skating, I find it difficult to not be able to rely on the ones they offer; I had to switch them out 3 times to find a decent pair. Also behind all the benches and in the corners is a ton of dirt and just dirtiness in general. The pros are they play pretty good music and the staff is always pretty friendly and helpful. Also people can use scooters, roller blades, and roller skates in the rink which makes it diverse for those wanting other options. The laser tag is great for the littler kids but probably not teenagers. Also in the area with the bouncy houses there is insane amounts of dust and debris on top. Probably at least an inch of grey/black dust, it's disgusting. Bounce houses in general are not the most sanitary but these ones especially were pretty gross. read more

Let me start with.... this isn't a cheap outting. It's $12 per person to skate plus your skate rental is an additional $3. There's often discounts online so be sure to check that first. The place hasn't changed much in 20 years but it's classic. It's a nightmare trying to dodge tiny kids on scooters. I get that they are trying to provide entertainment for all ages but it's frustrating. The outside of the building has the cutest murals painted on them. Ice cream and skating how together like... actually, I'm not sure I ever considered those two together before. But it works! I was actually a little nervous to take my kids to Classic Skating at first because I remembered going as a kid. When we walked in, I expected to see a dark, dingy rink--boy was I happily wrong. It was bright and clean! They had hand sanitizer around everything felt so clean. They lysol-ed the skates and scooters. They really have improved this place a lot since I was a wee one and now they have bounce houses, arcades and food. It was so fun, even for me. Now Ritz Eat is a little separate from their other food-- located in the skating area. The other food is your typical gross pizza and soda. But Ritz is probably the best food purchase you'll make there! And they have the cutest retro pink booths to sit in while you watch your kids skate. They make their own ice cream and donuts. We tried their Cookie Monster sundae and Strawberry Shortcake donuts. The ice cream was their cookies n' cream and they actually did a good job. It has a homemade consistency and nice soft cookies inside. The sundae was a definite overload of cookies, so well-named indeed. The strawberry shortcake was a good choice because the donuts were sa-weet and the freshness of the strawberries was needed. The donuts were actually more like funnel cake--suited for the setting. I and my family had a blast and we'll totally be back! *TIP: Purchase your tickets on the Classic Fun Center website! We saved at least $5 per person for my family of 6 and got to include all the activities, including pizza/soda, in our visit instead of just skating because of the discount. read more

My kids love this place. Every year they want to come back to have their birthday parties here. The birthday hosts have always been abundantly helpful during what are usually pretty chaotic given how busy the facility is. The food isn't great but good enough for the kids. Overall we had a good time, the prices were somewhat reasonable, and the service was good. We got a family deal on their website that came with full access (bounce houses and skating), 100 arcade credits, and a pizza. The online deal was about the price we would pay for just skating, which was nice. Twice, our kids played arcade games that didn't work but the staff was quick to reimburse the credits. WARNING!!! PREDATORY BILLING PRACTICES! I paid for 4 months in April (me and my kids have been coming and enjoying coming), cancelled the billing so I wouldn't get charged again 4 months later, but it cancelled ALL of our memberships immediately. I went in to go skating with my daughter, was told they were cancelled, was told I could just reactivate on the computer there, then got charged for ANOTHER 4 months. The only recourse is emailing their office manager. No ability to talk in person, no manager worth anything to talk to at the facility. This is some of the most predatory billing I've come across and the first time I've had any type of recurring payment where if I cancel the next payment it completely destroys my account and memberships. We have 5 memberships we paid for 4 months of in April and now we can't go at all and I got billed another $188 because their staff said that reactivating my membership shouldn't charge my card again. Well, it did. They also don't say anything about this in the membership contract. So what's going on, Classic? Management not responsive at all. Small claims court comes next. read more

Had my daughter and sons birthday here. The service was amazing, our party host made sure we were taken cared for. My kids love the bouncy area and the skating area. It does get suuuuper crowded but we don't mind it. The arcade area is fun as well. Also, because there are a lot of kids, the bouncy area can get a bit crazy. NO EXCEPTIONS? My family and I have been to this place for years for every birthday way back when the Orem location was just a skating floor. Due to the new policy of people not being allowed in unless they're skating, friends and family have canceled and we've turned around with disappointed faces. Not everyone has the balance or stamina or even ability to skate and have always been okay to sit and watch but unfortunately new policy indicates they're not allowed. Kind of puts a damper on a family activity if they won't allow family in. It wouldn't be so bad I suppose to pay for admission but when we hear about how the group in front is giggling to each other about getting in for free that night since their friend works there, it's sad. Oh well. My friends and family will sadly just find some other place to have birthday parties. Maybe boondocks. read more

I went with my wife and our family for a family night. Rented a disco room! It was a lot fun. The party rooms can't handle much of group because theirs not much seating. But it was super cool! first they skipped all our songs requests because they didn't want to play our songs even though it was family friendly. Also it took them a hour make a personal pizza and they let someone take it so we had to wait 30 minutes for another one and we didn't get it for free. and people would take slices from our pizza. It's a really fun place, great for meeting with friends, workers are all really kind, but it's far too hot, and it never gets any cooler. I really recommend making it stay cool. Recently held a birthday party for my son. Bought the birthday package and rented the Private Sweet Tooth Room. We were the first party of the day in there and the room was absolutely disgusting. I was so embarrassed to welcome my guests to the space. Microphones for karaoke didn't work. I had to ask for balloons(they are included) because they were not ready. I asked for the pizzas to be ready at noon so guests could start eating upon arrival...that didn't happen. Party started at 12. Guests didn't get to the space until about 12:45 due to the incredible LONG line to get in. Our party host was incredibly kind BUT incredibly difficult to find for arcade cards, drink refill, ice cream etc. She was super busy with parties. The place was over packed. Bounce house zone was terrifying how many people were in there. Party package was to include rentals and my guests were charged. We were told a refund was available but $3/pp to wait in the stupid line was another embarrassment for me to offer guests. If you opt out of laser tag they are supposed to give additional arcade "credits" that didn't happen for us. I rented the private space for the duration of the party which was 2 hrs. I was told they overbooked and I'd have to be out at 1:30. After negotiating that they'd spare a little extra time if I helped clean the space, I rushed my guests out only to be told once I had done that, that the next party had cancelled. All Staff was very kind minus Ren upon check in. Spare yourself the embarrassment and stress and host a party elsewhere. read more

The person working here who was overseeing the play area has been gone for about 10 min. Kids are rambunctious and conducting flips and pushing each other off into the pad. Classic is the go to spot! The absolute best bang for your buck especially when it comes to birthday parties. If your trying to do a party for 60-100 kids, maybe don't rent out one party room. You honestly can't find a safer or cleaner environment to take your kid. Any other fun center, arcade, or skating rink would be overrun with emo teens. We were in Orem for an unfortunate event. We brought our nieces & nephews here to skate & scooter around. It was like all they wanted to do was take your money and nothing else. Workers were also rude all in all. First they charged us for everyone's rental but only half of our party's admission (which made no sense). We didn't know until we went to grab our skates. Where we then had to pay more for admission and rental again. When I confronted them about this they tried to throw numbers around and not take accountability for the mistake or even understand/explain what happened. Just kept throwing words at me like I was dumb. The last adult was ordering food so when they finally went to get their skates, the workers tried to say that we hadn't paid.... again. Then were extremely rude when throwing the skates towards her on the counter. After that was said and done, we ordered a little more food. Food was done and we sent one of the older of the kids to grab the food. He then asked to make sure he was grabbing the right food and the employees told him it was our correct order. I sent him back to get some drinks and they told him he had to pay extra because he took the wrong order. Told a KID to pay for a wrong order that THEY told him was the correct one. Which isn't right at all. The food incident was taken care of in a decent manner but everything else was a horrible experience over all. I would never go back and i hope the employees all find a way to be a little less miserable. If I could put zero stars, I would. Don't waste your money here. All they want to do is empty your pockets. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

It was so well organized and the kids had so much fun that not only did I buy two summer passes that day, I also booked a birthday party for my child. Andrew was our party host as well as the party host for the bday party we were invited to. He is an amazing party host and takes care of all the details. My child and our guests had a wonderful time. I love skating. My kids love skating. But whatever you do, don't book a party at this place on a Friday. The service was horrible. Our pizzas were pushed to the end of the line. No soda refills. No food. No ice cream. They shouldn't be offering party reservations on Friday nights. They're just not equipped to handle the traffic. Wish I could give a better review, but with 15 hungry teenagers, this was a bad experience. Laser tag only had two working guns. No karaoke. Apparently broken. Charged for an extra hour of room use, when our food didn't even come out until 30 min into that extended hour. read more

Honestly, after reading some of the reviews on Yelp, we were a little scared to go here. We were envisioning a grimy​ Chuck E. Cheese's. But to our pleasant surprise, it was actually pretty awesome! Now, that's not to say that some of the issues brought up aren't valid. Yes, some of the bounce houses weren't in top condition and there was tape here and there, but as an adult, I didn't think it was a big deal and my kids certainly didn't notice at all. Was there dust? Probably. But nothing that I would consider out of the ordinary for a business that has an extremely vaulted ceiling. So overall, yes, it could use a little upkeep here and there, but for the price we paid and the amount of things they had to offer, it was an amazing deal and a great way to spend the afternoon. Over the course of about four hours we roller skated, played laser tag, ate popcorn, had sodas, played in the bouncy houses, climbed through the jungle gym and spent 200 tokens. And a lot of the arcade games have tickets. So my 10-year-old​ son was able to leave with an Iron Man plush and a pair of toy handcuffs. Haha...he walked out in handcuffs...and it was all included in the price of admission. We went on a Saturday in August and it was not overcrowded​ at all. We didn't really have to wait for anything. Staff was courteous and quickly resolved any tokens issues we had. I would definitely recommend this place as a good way to spend a day with the kids. In reality,​ I would probably give this four stars. I'm guessing the food was mediocre. But I'm giving it five to counterbalance those reviews where people clearly had an unfair ax to grind. read more

There were some very experienced skaters, along with some who were just starting out (insert hand raise) they had some fun songs & different activities thought the night. They have definitely updated and it's a fun place to come and skate. In addition to skating they have bounce houses and arcade games which are fun for the kids. My biggest complaint would be the food. It was disgusting. We ordered a cheese pizza, chicken fingers, and French fries. The pizza was carelessly thrown on a dirty round plate, had extremely thin crust and burnt on one side. The chicken fingers were more breading than chicken. One of the pieces had slimy chicken inside and they were all over cooked and dried out. The French fries were cold. To top it off we had to wait almost 30 mins for this mess with no other orders ahead of ours. Moral of the story: Forget ordering food, just come for the fun. read more

I used to go to Classic when I was younger we would go every Saturday it was much different then it is now. My daughter goes all the time and the last time she went I ran inside to sign a waiver and wow has it changed. When you walk in there are so many fun games to play and these games are brand new nice games they had a huge life size Asteroids game that looked really fun and they have bouncy houses but the best part was looking out at the smooth skating rink, they have fun party lights and plenty of places to sit and eat or just watch the skaters. To say I was impressed would be an understatement and the prices are decent for all day passes. Its definitely changed since I went. I decided to have my one year olds birthday party here. They absolutely do NOT clean anything. Most of the arcade machines do not work and take your money. Most of us ended up getting sick and wasted a lot of money. I would not recommend to anyone. Not worth the money or your time. They do not follow COVID guidelines. When I went to classic skating it had been the first time in probably 10 years. When I was here 10 years ago it was one of the sketchiest places to go. Now, classic skating is WAY nicer than it used to be. They have a large arcade and inflatable area that is great for little kids. It's clean, and very affordable. I was here for a nephews birthday party and can say that it was the best birthday party I've ever been to. Super well priced. I skated and bladed for 3 hours. The Music selection was really good. A mix of the new and the old. You can also request music which was nice. The skates were comfortable and looked well maintained. All of the kids had a blast as well as the adults. Normally, I feel like kids birthday parties consist of kids maybe having a good time, while parents stand around looking like they want to shoot themselves. The staff was mostly a ton of teenage kids, at first I was expecting them all to be like most teenagers but was super surprised to find that all of them were incredibly kind and helpful. They're always smiling and going the extra mile. This is what really pushed it to a 5 star establishment. I think Classic skating is fun for all. Well after 40 years it's gone way down hill. I remember a safe place for kids to go 20 years ago. Took my kids today. All I can say is I will never be back. The staff don't do much to police the skate rink at all, no one is given any guidelines, and the parents are the worst. Some of the travisties for which a patron should never have to pay: 1. Skates, shoes, and clothes all over the walkways. 2. Parents in lounge chairs in the walkway. 3. Bulky stabilizer walkers all over the walkway. 4. Few parents attending to to kids under 12 5. Kids on scooters allowed?!?!?! Wow, that says super desperate. You can ride a scooter just about anywhere, and they were running in to people all over. 6. Kids and adults not caring about safely passing kids who are bearly learning. 7. In fact the lack of compassion/etiquette from anyone was reprehensible. But that's what you get when the adults are modeling the behavior. 8. +100 stakers, along with 50-70 spectators made it impossible to have much of any space. Now I understand this isn't all the full, direct, fault of management and the owners, but at the same time, I remember getting a rules of the rink talk every time I skated 20-28 years ago. I also remember we helped each other and people paid attention to where they were going more. I also remember not being able to get in because they were full back ago. Now your just a cash machine for them and all they see is a dollar sign. My dollar will stay deep in my pocket; far away from such deplorable conditions. read more

Their policy of 16+ past 9 isn't on their website and is a huge inconvenience if you show up at 9 and aren't 16 or older. There was 35 of us in our church group and we had to go to another facility that was ironically more fun and didn't have STUPID POLICIES.
