I visited the yard for a birthday drop in party. We had a great time. Even is non drinkers has plenty to do. There are outdoor games, Mega pong pictures and corn hole. Indoors there is a huge selection of board games, table shuffle board, and darts. For an addition fee, there is Detroit Axe axe throwing. The good is good with a selection of pub food and a delish asian chicken salad. They do serve mocktails for the non-drinkers. Overall, fun several hours on a weekend. Looking forward to the summer when all of the extensive outdoor seating is open.

Awesome outdoor bar! They have tons of games to play, but the outdoor bar area is the coolest. They have a huge screen outside to watch the local game going on and a great spot to sit puisse and enjoy a cocktail

We returned for a date night Saturday night, and we had a great time. Everyone was playing games, they had chill R&B music playing, and the food and drinks were good. The pizza is Detroit style and maybe could have used a few more minutes to get a little crispier, but it was super cheesy and melty and reminded me of when I was a kid. Their fries are the super crispy kind, and the burger and chicken sandwich was decent. Their system of ordering food was also really efficient - they were packed and I got my order within 25 minutes. They also make nice strong drinks, and the bartenders were nice. Be aware, you must pay a $10 entry fee on Saturday nights, but I think it's well worth it. For that price, you have access to all the outside and board games, so you could have a cheap, fun night out. Even with food and drinks, we spent about $100 which is a pretty good price for downtown.

This place is such a fun time! They have a large variety of board games and card games that you can play for free. They play fun music as well. The drinks here are amazing! The only downside is that there is a $10 cover on Fridays and Saturdays which I think is silly. I also wish that there was more seating available near the games. Overall a fun spot for date night or with friends.

Highly recommend giving this place a try. It was a $10 charge to get in on a Saturday night. Not sure if that's the norm. Music was a vibe. There is a food truck inside. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The game options are endless! I love the concept. Good for anyone who enjoys a good game. Great for groups, dates, or just a fun night out. The staff are constantly coming around and cleaning tables or seeing if you need anything. I will definitely come back.

Excellent concept and space. This place is full of free games and activities for adults. It has 3 bars in food trucks inside. It's super spacious and has both indoor and outdoor seating. This place is excellent for date night, as it was a lot of love bugs there :). Great mixture of young and old, black and white. Chill and cool vibes.

This in the heart of Corktown is a place of fun in multiple ways: the bartenders can make a great gin cocktail, there is a great outdoor patio, and there is also a wall of board games. Just a drink today, no games.

Now the yard was dope! There's a lot in one small space when it comes to this establishment period You come in, and you will see 29 different things lol. Well not 29 but a lot. You come in and come up the wrap into the left you have a full bar. The boxing us gave us some really good conversation And I really enjoyed the vibe at the bar. But if you come in and go to the right, you'll see a wall of games. Not like a few shelves, the entire wall. So you will definitely have no problem finding some games to play for you and your party. You go a little deeper inside and now there's ax throwing. They have maybe about 6 to 10 lanes for acts throwing, and it actually stayed pretty active. Honestly I didn't go actuary when I went so I don't know what the prices are. But if you go opposite toward outside of the ax throwing, you see a big shiny Twinkie that's serving tacos and nachos and finger food and stuff like that. Everybody says that the tacos are good so just give them a try! Outside there's a huge yard, I guess that's why the name means something lol. But they have beer pong with the cups the size of garbage cans. And we did play that for quite a while, it was fun, a lot of fun. Also outside there's cornhole, which is a game staple, and behind there they're like cabanas to hang out in. The kind that you find at a beach party but clearly Detroit's not that but it was actually pretty cool to have a place to chill as well. All the way around, I would definitely recommend try and get out. If you have friends who like games, this is a spot for you!

What a fun place!!! This was the absolute perfect end to a perfect day! Located in corktown, this place has all you need for a date night! They had board games stacked to the ceiling! There is an outdoor area for Cornhole. They had axe throwing too! I mean it was the complete package! Perfect for a summer night in the D! And a food truck located INSIDE the bar!! What??? Omg. They had the most AMAZING food!! I am one of those people that takes a few bites and then I'm full. But their burrito bowls were the Bomb! I ate the entire thing!! And these aren't dainty servings. Haha. I didn't even get a picture of the food before I scarfed it down! We ended up playing Battleship, which I won for a change lol. Then it was time to end the day. I would most definitely recommend this spot. Especially if you're looking to have an experience!

    Board games.

No Tacos even though it says on the sign. Food truck recently left. New menu items. Pretzel and burger fries and pizzas were good. Atmosphere was great. Fun to go with a group hang out and play board games. We rocked uno and Taboo for hours. They have plenty of games to play and vintage ones to buy. I feel that they are understaffed, not enough table service. Large beer and wine list yet most was unavailable. I

I would prefer no alcohol, however, since this was a volunteer participation activity for the crew, it was everyone for themselves. The gang started off on the first floor at the lounge. There's a large variety of games to get things started, even on the walls, themselves. There's also a cafe with a few pretty good food options. Eventually, we migrated to the second floor and began wielding the axes. If you've read my previous writings you'll understand why I was disqualified and Marshalled the events. FWIW, at the end I threw against the top axe chucker and thoroughly cleaned his clock. This should garner me creds amongst the younger folk. Back downstairs for more snacks, drinks and the results. Thanks to the folks at Detroit Axe for an incredible experience. This will most likely be an annual event. 11/25

He answered our questions, explained the rules well reinforced safety and I think he enjoyed our competitive banter! The hour went by quick, because we were having fun. There are bottled/ canned adult beverages, pop and water in a small cooler, a sitting area near the entrance and higher tables closer to the stalls where the action is. But I found the bar height chairs uncomfortable and stood instead: I'm 6'1" and the bar to rest your feet on was too high up (my knees weren't comfortable) Plus tables nearby if your party is larger. 2nd sitting area in back and 2 gender neutral restrooms which are accessible for those with mobility limitations. It's very spacious inside and not really noisy, out of the 6 throwing stalls I think 4 of them were occupied this early Saturday evening. They played good music too! Lots of parking as they're in a strip of businesses and handicapped parking is available in the lot. But depending on where you park you're likely going 150 feet to the entrance which has no steps, except for curb to walkway which also has ramped areas. I don't know about prices because the activity was a Christmas present and the same person bought my drink. But I had a great time and would recommend you come check it out. I'd say it's adults only due to the dimensions of space/ target etc. But call ahead and ask them for their recommendations/ rules.
