Came here just for drinks at the bar and was really impressed! The cocktails were well-crafted, balanced, and full of flavor. You can tell the bartenders know what they're doing--everything from the presentation to the ingredients felt thoughtful. The vibe at the bar is lively but relaxed, making it a great spot to unwind or catch up with friends. Only reason for four stars instead of five is that the service was a bit slow at times, but nothing that ruined the experience. Overall, a solid place for great drinks--I'd definitely come back for another round!

Cold and super tall beer ! I went in just for a beer and was told there is a special $11 combo with smash burger. I was expecting a tiny dry burger because it was too good to be true lol. This burger definitely exceeded my expectations.

I honestly have to update this review. Haven't been back probably since shortly after they opened but I feel like they literally took everything I said in my review and gave me exactly what I wanted and that doesn't happen often. Saw a happy hour sign outside when I went to pick up some Yelp hand wash around the corner and it boasted of $5 pints till 7pm. Ingrid swings around after my pit stop for a peak inside. Twinkly lights are now hanging from the ceiling. I get a more warm and welcoming vibe. The beers on draft now are all craft selections and a wonderful variety to suit everyone's desires: stouts and dark beers, ipas, ciders. A few selections I've never heard of or tried. Gosh darn it, Wolfhound, you make me so proud. Now I will always remember this as a great other option from Judy and Punch if I'm ever in Astoria again.

Wolfhound is a modern looking Irish bar in a busy part of Astoria. We were told by the bartender that this place no longer serves food but they are working on it for now. So, at the moment this is just a place for drinks. They do have live music on certain nights though. And they have a decent drink special - $10 for a beer and a shot.

It's a Mets bar. What's not to love?

I was there recently for a Mets watch party that my friend hosted. There were a few groups of people that weren't there for the party, but engaged with some of the party attendees without issues. It was a really cool spot for the event where we easily watched the game and mingled. They had great drinks and I heard great food. I didn't eat there, but the food looked great. The staff were really nice and were Mets fans, so that helps lol. Def a cool spot to hang out whether you're watching the game or not.

After midnight and you're on the plantation with no other chores and can't sleep what do you do? If you answered take a walk and find a dive bar you're absolutely correct! At least that's what I attempted to do. I'm not sure Yelp knows what a dive bar is though, this one ain't as divey as I like them. It's actually pretty decent and a bit trendy. And clean and serene, nah, I won't call here a dive bar. Go to BKLYN or LI Yelp. You'll see. Cool staff. Eclectic music. Darts. Non problematic patrons. Guinness! Suki-Suki! The End.

The Wolfhound is a sweet little bar to get a drink. I ordered the Moscow mule and my friend got an espresso martini. Both of which came out quickly and were very tasty. There are some dart boards in the back to play and plenty of seating!

Great neighborhood bar. I've come in for the burger and beer special for $11, great price! I've also tried their Crispy Chicken Sandwich and it's also delicious. Good food, good music and good bartenders. Can't ask for more!

Historically speaking I had never been to the Queens Theatre before the other night when I caught…read morethe NYC appearance by the band Rolling Quartz. The band had embarked on their North American tour from their native South Korea. Since I had never seen the band before as well, the adventure to a new space for me made the whole thing more interesting to me. Now I travel via the MTA, and from Bay Ridge this event space is a bit of a hike. It's the R train to the N to the 7 to a fairly decent walk. Those who are driving or taking an Uber might have a little better trek experience than I did but that being said once I made it past the famed Unisphere and over to New York State Pavilion, it was time to go into the Queens Theatre. When I arrived there were already about 100 attendees lined up because the band was doing all sorts of VIP things with them. A cool part of the agenda for sure. Inside the theatre is a spacious lobby area with seating all around near the windows. There are concessions there but I only saw drinks being sold when I looked. There was a small merchandise table for the band set up and I imagine that when other shows happen here this will be their space as well. Right off the bat I connected to a complimentary WiFi signal which was good but seemed to go on and off during the course of the performance. Once I was in the actual performance space I was quite impressed. The stage is sizable which was great because this was a five member band with a full backline and the seats were oh so comfortable. Yes this was a Rock Show and people would likely be standing throughout the performance but when it was time to sit you could do so in comfort. I positioned myself in the eighth or so row on the aisle since I needed to shoot photographs and I was happy to report that there were no bad sightlines in the theater. The sound was also clear and impressive which was partially a testimony to the bands team on the tour. While I didn't get to explore the venue all that much outside of the show, I did see one of the spacious side rooms which I guess they do talks in or smaller events. The band has set up their meet and greets there so it was in and out in terms of time to examine. There was a complimentary WiFi that I did find to be spotty at times but I feel this was based on the amount of people choosing to live stream the show. There were obviously restrooms and while I can only speak for the men's facility it was quite clean which is always a pleasant find. Overall this was a great experience for me but I cannot fathom when and if I might make a return based on the logistics and scarcity of what most interests me happening here. I will be keeping tabs on their calendar for good measure just in case and maybe some other localized Hard Rock bands can look into it or even local promoters who wish to do something that is no too crazy.

We had a hard time finding parking as the show was about to start and the park is always busy. There were two small lots nearby that were full. Upon entering check in was easy. They had a small concession stand. The seating was great with no obstructed views. The play itself was kid friendly and told the meaning and traditions of the special day. It was very informative and entertaining. I enjoyed the different styles of dances performed, the colorful outfits, the creative scenery (which was simple but effective). I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to visiting again.

I was somehow impressed with their wall decorations with rock bands and legends such as Gustavo Cerati, Enrique Bunbury, Pedro Suarez Vertiz, etc. I only have complains with the space of the local its too small, it gets too crowded on weekends and there's no enough seats for guests, and drinks are overpriced, if you are trying to get fcked up just order a few rounds of beer ($7 each, still expensive) and it would do it for the rest of the night...The bartenders are very helpful, but their sangria is a total rip-off. Almost forgot that bathrooms could be a problem, they only have 1 private bathroom for each men/women and it sucks because there's always this asshole that takes longer than 10 minutes holding a line waiting for their turn. The bar is located in one of the less dangerous /safest areas of Queens, I never had trouble walking a few blocks to park my car since La Kueva doesn't provide a parking lot. As far as the regular crowd, obviously most of them are Latinos, and if you are between the ages of 18-25 don't expect a crowd around that age, I rarely have seen anyone that looks under 25, most of the guests are on their late 20's to early 30's but they are still friendly but it kinda sucks being one of the youngest cats. This place has potential to become 5 star, I heard back in the days they were way better.
