Always good food and service. Can eat inside or tables outside too. Inside has about 8-10 tables outside the same. Bench style the lunch specials are good and affordable. Had the fried tilapia bahn mi as well as veggie soup and spring roll.

I was pleasantly surprised by this adorable Vietnamese spot in Hunter's point! The interior of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, and their staff is quick and polite. Their menu has a good variety of pho, banh mi, vermicelli bowls, and also clay pot dishes. I got the banh mi when I went and my friend got their pho. Their classic banh mi was delicious and a good portion. It came with plenty of meat and it was dripping with juices. The bread was also so warm and crispy on the outside. The pho was also good, and a solid portion but I wish it came with a variety of other meat toppings besides sliced brisket. Otherwise, it wasn't bad. Overall, a pretty solid Viet spot and I would come back!

Very casual spit for average Vietnamese food. We started with the shrimp summer rolls and pork fried spring rolls. The summer rolls were tiny and not super well put together (stuff fell apart as you bit into it) but otherwise fine. The pork fried spring rolls also felt a little small but tasted fine. As for the beef pho, that was also standard - tasted fine though I wish the beef were more tender (it felt a little overcooked to me but just a tad). We came in on a Sunday night around 5pm and it was mostly empty. Service was quick and friendly.

Been here several times for the viet coffee alone. The pho and the spring rolls are solid choice for a cold blistering winter day or if you want some comfy soupy noodles. Price is great and service too. No complaints here!

Always love their Banh Mi and everything is fresh - we sat outside when it was still nice out and they have a great happy hour (beer was ~$5 or so). Think the noodles could have a bit more flav but everything was nice!

Fantastic Vietnamese food. The pho, vermicelli, and clay pot dishes were all great. Food came out fast and there was no wait walking in Saturday around 8 PM.

Amazing and authentic food, ton of flavor and huge portion. Really nice staff and the happy hour deals are everyday. I would go just for cheap drinks alone! Ambiance is clean.

I usually go for the Summer Roll and the Beef Pho. The Summer rolls are delicious and surprisingly filling--I highly recommend choosing the ones with shrimp for extra flavor. The Beef Pho is classic & easily the best you'll find in the LIC area.

Yummy! It's been so cold so I was in need of some good Pho so my friend suggested this spot. We came for lunch, love a lunch menu, and ordered Chicken Pho. The broth was insanely tasty, would love a gallon of just the broth please. Roasted chicken was a plenty in this. Much more then I expected. A little lite on the bean sprouts & scallions, especially since asking for more would result you in a $2 charge. Very cute little spot, we came at 12:25 on a Monday and the place was basically full by the time we left.

A little off the beaten path, Cyclo is situated like a modest one story house that was turned into a restaurant. While there are better options for more flavorful food, the prices are reasonable and the service is good. A few friends and I came for lunch. Service was quick and they provided a complimentary salad with our meal. The salad was doused with an overly sweet vinaigrette that took my partner and I by surprise, but it wasn't a big enough salad for it to be off putting. The main dishes were better with my beef pho having a good portion of protein and my friends and partner enjoying their rice dishes. While my beef pho was good, the broth was pretty bland compared to other pho I had in the city. The ambiance is casual and rustic with wooden chairs, tables, and chopsticks. The staff were friendly and checked in on us from time to time. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. Overall, there was nothing to complain about aside from the food. If you're not from LIC, it's hard to justify making the trek for the food. But if you're visiting a friend and really need a bowl of pho or fried rice, Cyclo is not a terrible option.

    Mosa H.

Good banh mis. I would recommend the traditional banh mi, which had a lot more flavor across the different types of meat. The tofu banh mi was a little dry and bland. Interior is cute and worth dining in! A couple blocks from the waterfront.

Our table was literally less than 6ft away from the door. Poor customer service.

Crazy times. Anyways...I didn't realize it was this spot until one night I was craving pho in LIC and found this spot on Yelp. Once I saw the storefront, I knew which restaurant this was and got very excited to finally try them out. For drinks, I had to get the Vietnamese Espresso Martini ($19). It had that distinct Vietnamese coffee taste with a mix of alcohol, which blended in nicely. It luckily did not keep me up all night. For entrees, we split an order of the Shaking Beef ($33) as well as the Bun Rieu ($22). We probably could have just ordered one or the other to split as we were very stuffed by the end of the meal. Both were delicious and would recommend. The Bun Rieu is unique that it is a pork and tomato soup base, kind of like in hot pot (delicious a refreshing btw) with a hint of fish sauce. The Shaking Beef is a classic which comes with jasmine rice. Beef is prepared and seasoned perfectly. There were other items that looked and sounded delicious, but my wallet prevented me from doing so. There's always another time, which I will be looking forward to. Shoutout to our server Daniel who was amazing and super hospitable.

The other two dishes were both super yummy, especially after you douse it in fish sauce. The interior is also super pretty for anyone interested in taking flicks here too! The service and ambiance was amazing. Also, I love how attentive the staff was when I mentioned I was allergic to peanuts because they made sure that there weren't any peanuts in my dishes! You have to go in person to join the waitlist, and the staff will not seat you unless your full party is there. It is always fun going on the weekend because they have specialty menu items. The food is consistently tasty and served very quickly. A few highlights include: - Banh Chung | Crispy Rice Cake: A solid starter to share among two to four people. The texture is chewy with a light crispiness on the outside. There is also a vegetarian option. - Vegetarian Curry: A savory yellow curry made with a coconut milk base. Really appreciate the variety of seasonal vegetables included. - Bun Ca Hai Phong | Fried Fish and Tomato Noodle Soup: Highly recommend getting this during the weekend! A nice alternative to the typical meat-based dishes. The tilapia is lightly fried, so the tomato broth does not become overly heavy, and the dill helps cut through any extra oil to balance out the flavors. - The beef noodle soups are also very good, but are more classic options. The rice platters are great to share since the portions are generously sized. The staff are always friendly and helpful throughout the meal. Service is very fast, especially considering the restaurant has always been full.

Most Asian…read morerestaurants in this neighborhood are fancy sit-downs, so it was exciting to see a quick, casual stop for Asian "finger food" (for a lack of better word) within my vicinity. Joju specializes in modern Vietnamese cuisine, serving meals like bahn mi, loaded fries, and rice meals. The menu recently added soy garlic wings, and since I am a fiend for Asian-style fried chicken, I of course had to have it. While all of the beverages looked tempting, especially their non-alcoholic soju refreshers, I needed caffeine to offset the afternoon slump that was about to follow, so I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. The wings were huge! It was notably crunchy, saucy, and juicy. There was a decent skin to meat ratio, (I so hate biting into a mouthful of breading), and the meal came out piping hot. It was clear the chicken had been fried per order. Those who know me know that I can't live without rice and would eat it with almost any meal, including fried chicken, so I did request it on the side, although the wings don't come with it. The man who took my order did me a solid and served it with mine, anyway. Good lad! I've been wanting to try Vietnamese coffee for a while now, and it was everything I imagined it would be. Sweet with a bitter backend - but not too bitter! I'm still new to coffee, and I pucker up at anything too intense. This was just right. My meal at Joju satisfied me, mind, body, and soul. I hope it is here to stay, and I hope that a shop like this is a catalyst for other quick Asian food stops to follow. Korean and Filipino restaurants - I'll be waiting!
