Because of the good reviews, I ordered a take out for lunch. Super taste is a small eatery with 4 tables, all unoccupied when I visited. I saw a kiosk where you can put in an order so I assume it sometimes gets busy. The cashier was very friendly. I'm more of a rice person than a noodle person, and there were only 2 rice dishes on the menu. I ordered the Steamed Pork Taiwan Style which included the pork, an egg, and bok choy for $10.95. It was a huge bowl which could feed 2. It was OK, but I should have gone with a noodle dish. I hate to base a review on one dish, but that's all I have to go by - 3 1/2 stars. read more

This place was so delicious! We ordered at the counter then sat ourselves. When the food was ready, a worker brought it to us on a tray. I ordered the pork bun which was only $6 and soooo delicious and filling! My friend ordered the beef noodles and absolutely devoured it. The best Chinese food we've ever had. After we finished, they told us we can just leave it there and they will take care of it. There was also AC and it wasn't very loud so I was able to take a work call in there. They also had outlets. Casual dining spot with some seating. Order at the front and they will bring your noodles to you. We chatted with one of the owners for a long time and he is a super nice guy. Very passionate about noodles and the food. The noodles are bouncy and fresh. The portion size is much better than the other noodle places like Burp Bowl and Bites of Xian. Xian Famous noodles, which has multiple locations, is really not as great as it used to be. The noodles are not as fresh and not as good. Super Taste is a great addition to the neighborhood. My only hangup with them was that they needed more sauce because by the time I received them, they cooled down and everything was a clump. I couldn't separate the noodles and mix everything together so that all the ingredients could get incorporated. The dumplings have a great filling ratio but I was disappointed that there was no dumpling sauce. They were quite plain tasting, especially since they were just steamed and there was no pan browning. I came in and was worried that there wouldn't be seating but there was plenty of seating as people are continuously coming and going. I ordered the Hot & Spicy Beef Noodle Soup via the kiosk and it was pretty good. I appreciate the tenderness of the beef as well as the bok choy that soaked up all the flavors. I think the broth was a little bit too spicy for me but that's probably because I'm just weak and spice intolerant. It did get a lot more crowded at around 12pm though, so we're glad we came early. We ordered the Pork Burger, Soy Sauce Egg, Beef Stew, Soybean Noodles, Panfried Dumplings, and Steamed Dumplings. - Soybean Noodles: My favorite thing we ordered. Noodles were chewy and fresh. The soybean paste had a great flavor and wasn't too salty. - Steamed Dumplings: Not bad, but nothing outstanding. Wouldn't mind ordering again if I wanted dumplings, but probably wouldn't go out of my way to get these dumplings because they're just basic good dumplings I could find elsewhere too. - Panfried Dumplings: Also not bad. The filling tasted a bit saltier than the filling of the steamed dumplings, but it may have been from the dumplings being panfried and the skin having less moisture to balance with the filling. - Pork Burger: Good flavor, but it was a bit too dry for my liking. The pork was fatty and the burger buns were fairly thick. Overall, I would return for the soybean noodles. I know a lot of Chinatown don't have reusable plates and utentils, but the only thing that keeps me from returning here more often is this place relying on single-use plates and containers. I really really liked my noodles it was a great portion size not too small and not too big. Dumplings were good but the broth was amazing I drank it separately. Also you got 10 dumplings for $10 I thought that was a steal! 100% add the chili oil and mature vinegar to your noodles. Having tried the location in Chinatown, I'm very happy that they opened a branch on the UES. The menu selection here is more limited compared to their other location but still offers most of their classics. My go to is the hand pulled noodles in hot and spicy soup.
