We usually order chicken and broccoli, very basic. It's decent, broccoli is fresh and chicken isn't over cooked. Sometimes it comes out salty but balances out with the rice. The hot and sour soup is pretty good here. My daughter likes the wonton soup which isn't anything extraordinary. We also got the roasted duck once and that was good enough for the price especially in the UES where food like this is limited. $24 for a decent portion of duck plus wraps. They're quick with delivery (even at rush hour) so that's nice when you're in a pinch for dinner. read more

Pretty lame take out Chinese place close to where I live. Super cheap lunch specials. Nothing much as for decor, so take out is a better option. Like I said, it's a no frills joint that serves cheap Chinese-American food. We went in at 2:00 on a Saturday to order, and there was no one in there. Awesome. We ordered to go for a picnic in the park, and when I returned to pick it up, there were a few people in there, so not all was lost. I went with a staple, the Sesame Chicken. They are now charging for the additional hot and sour soup (it used to come with the lunch special), but nostalgia called, so I ordered it. Both of them hit the spot. I would recommend ordering for delivery as the restaurant is not anything special. It has about seven table and the decor matches the price of the food. I always order the sesame chicken with Egg Drop Wanton soup. It is so good I find it difficult to order anything else. I have had the egg rolls and they are great as well. I would recommend ordering white chicken in your meal. It is a little more expensive but it is definitely worth it. When you order for delivery the people on the phone are not really friendly but they are efficient and the speed of delivery is amazing. Hands down the worst service! Twice now they try to cheat you on what you get in the meals. They will flat out tell you no unless you point out what their own menu says. Today I had to yell to get someone to the front of the store. Then I had to argue pointing out the menu to get what I paid for. I was asked what rice I wanted (that comes with it). I said fried rice. He said it only comes with white rice. I said why did you ask me then? He said I could get white or brown rice. I said brown. However, I was disappointed because the shrimp fried rice was not good at all plus it still had onions and scallions along with the shrimp lo mein order after I asked two to three times none please. The rice tasted old and soggy, which is odd. I original wanted to order from another Chinese place, but I didn't, and I'm regretting it. Covid has brought down their food quality, or I was served an old refried batch of shrimp fried rice. The crab ragoon, spring rolls and ginger ale was good though considering the sodas came free with the almost $32 dollar meal. I'm not sure if I will order again due to this. Standard kinda disgusting but super cheap Chinese--okay, maybe a hair (possibly literally) higher on the disgusting/cheap scale than average. The less you see of the store the better you'll feel about your meal, but on the other hand, $5.50 for lunch, with spring rolls and soup available as add-ons for 60 cents each, is a stone-cold bargain, even factoring in the cost of updating your vaccinations. Eating here will probably cause your organ donor eligibility to vanish off your driver's license into thin air like Marty McFly's hand at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance but otherwise what have you got to lose save some pocket change and possibly control of your bowels? Nearby Wok 88 on Third Ave is infinitely tastier/cleaner/more presentable for a buck or two more, but for those serious penny-pinchers among us (yo) I present your new temple. Bonus points for the punny, unusually playful name (no #1 Golden Dragon Wok Garden here), minus points for the by-the-letter classifieds-ad spelling ("Lee love Dawn, marriage?"). Really poor experience tonight. The delivery man asked for a tip, so I told him I had included one (occasionally I've had drivers ask for more even when I have included one). After I closed the door then proceeded to bang on my door several times asking for a tip. It was really embarrassing. My order was $8, so a 20% tip would have been a mere $1.60. I wasn't purposely stiffing him, and I don't think $1.60 was worth making a huge fuss about. I ordered through seamless and my tip didn't get added to the order slip and I didn't have cash. I apologized and planned to tip cash next time and he proceeded to slam to the door as he went down the hallway. I feel bad the tip didn't go through and would have worked to amend it with Seamless, but that harassment was completely inappropriate. Food is bland, but affordable.
