I ate here just this past Tuesday and such a happy time with the chef being present himself in the dining area proudly telling patrons about the ingredients, the dishes, and his preparation of them with such beaming pride which is deserved as the freshness, the careful prep, and the good recipes are all evident during the dining experience. I had the special Gaeng Phed Ped Yang and my wife had the green curry. My dishes' lovely duck slices which were generous and are perfectly baked with the crispy skin clearly carefully set above the broth, just lovely. My wife's green curry is clearly handmade with the preferably uneven slicing of peppers and a nicely varied set of tastes which make it interesting even for the frequent green curry eater. Trivia: green curry actually contains no curry, but coconut milk. Both dishes came with white rice and are very good portion sizes, but most impressive is the quality of the dishes. As we are particular, having been spoiled by decade plus of Thai food around Jackson Heights, Queens, we really wanted the fresh and authentic style which LennoxThai does, much to our gladness. Seating is very limited with ~8 tables, most are easily moveable for varying sizes of parties. The staff is very copious thus very quick service whether for the high-volume takeouts or the dine-in which at 4:30p was just 2 other tables, but 2 more added as we finished after 5p. The Toast POS makes payment in person or online easy. It also emits a loyalty discount which comes via the usual Toast marketing streams. Its sanitation, cleansiness, and decor are all clean, confident, and comforting. The murals on the walls of varying Thai scenes are good discussion starters for the far away yet popular lands. The signage makes it easy to find on the otherwise busy 1 Av. I noticed the 2 adjacent restaurant locations are vacant but have signage saying new eateries coming imminently. Grateful that a few dishes in their menu can be made vegan and gluten-free, particularly the Pad Thai, the curries, and some of the vegetable dishes that you can get with tofu (or meat if you choose). Everything I've had has been flavorful and very satisfying. My current favorite is the Pad Thai Woon Sen which is Pad Thai but using the thin bean thread noodles instead of the typical rice noodles. I only wish more dishes had the option of being made vegan and gluten-free. I seem to recall that the Drunken Noodle could be made gluten-free, but that option no longer exists on their online ordering platform. I have eaten at the location a couple of times but usually I order for takeout because I'm at work nearby. The space inside is small with only 4 or 5 small tables, and space is a little tight. But it is clean and the decor is nice and welcoming. The staff is always very friendly and are willing to answer questions if you have any. This is the perfect spot for a drop in dinner or takeout. It has saved me on several occasions!! I've had the tom yum soup (5/5 perfect for a cold evening), pad Thai (4.5/5, great flavor noodles a little soft for my liking), and steamed vegetables (4/5 good for when you just need some veggies in your life, just plain steamed no seasoning). Delicious authentic flavors. We got the papaya salad and crispy pork belly for appetizers. For main entree, we got chicken pad krapow and beef stew noodle soup. I thought the crispy pork belly would have skin on, instead of fried pork but the pork belly was tender and cooked perfectly. Pad krapow flavors were also good, but the highlight was definitely the beef stew noodle soup. The soup reminded me of a slightly sweeter pho - super flavorful and comforting. The beef flank slices were thick and melted in my mouth. 10/10 would recommend on a cold day. The interior is pretty small. Very good, delicious. I ordered the WONTON NOODLE SOUP ($21) and a SIDE ORDER OF STEAMED VEGGIES ($6). GREAT!! Fresh and flavorful. Yes, I will be back!! The wonton in the noodle soup is a royal treat of minced shrimp and chicken in the shape of a generously sized round, delicious pillow. I would guess about 2" to 2.5" in diameter....VERY NICE!! There were 3 and they were quite filling and incredibly delicious. AND, there were a few pieces of REAL CRABMEAT in the soup!! And the flavorful broth, noodles, and green Chinese veggies were GREAT!!! Just what I needed and wanted. And, I enjoyed the side order of assorted steamed veggies-see my photos. I had called in the order and said I'd pick it up. The broth is in a separate container, and wrapped with plastic wrap, to help prevent any leaks. I had asked for chop sticks and utensils. And as I walked home, something told me to check inside the bag since I was not feeling any chop sticks, and good thing I did. They forgot to put my requested utensils in. That's ok, because I was only steps away, and went back, and was given them. The restaurant was VERY, VERY BUSY. So, I'm not upset about the utensils. THE SERVICE WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. There are a few tables inside. I think maybe a total of about 6 seats. But, on a nice day, you can buy your delicious food, and eat outside in the nearby park, only about a block away. This is more like a 4.5 star review. Was in the area on a late Sunday night and stumbled upon this place. It's very small and they mainly do take outs. But our stomachs did not warrant take outs for us and we're lucky enough to have seats available for our party of 5. The lady at the store front was very friendly and helpful. We ordered their Tom yum soup, chicken pad Thai, crab fried rice, sweet chili chicken wings, chicken satay, crispy pork belly and the grilled pork neck. All the dishes were generally authentic and delicious. Flavors were on point and the sweet chili chicken wings and the crispy pork belly really stood out as they were both perfectly fried with a well balanced flavor. However, the only complain I have is noodles in the pad thai were a bit broken and soggy and they were very hard to pick up with chopsticks. Service was quick but as I mentioned, it's very small with 2 small tables (for party of 2) and 4 counter seats. I had to wait quite a bit for the delivery drivers to get settled. Two tiny tables with two chairs each are available in store. I ordered a pad krapow ($18) and green curry crab meat ($29) and it fed my husband and I easily - but after tax and tip it was surprisingly expensive for the portion, as we usually have enough leftover for one small meal. We ordered delivery from LENOXTHAI on a weeknight when I was craving something flavorful but still healthy, and they absolutely nailed it! The food arrived super fast and still piping hot, (somehow Thai and Chinese places have mastered the art of this!), always impressive for delivery. I got the grilled chicken satays to start--so tender and perfectly charred, with that dreamy peanut sauce that wasn't overly sweet but just right. For my main, I tried their spicy basil tofu with brown rice, and it hit every mark. The veggies were vibrant and crisp, the tofu was cooked just right (not mushy at all), and it had the perfect amount of heat. I also appreciated that the oil wasn't excessive. Thai delivery can be a little heavy, but this felt light and energizing without sacrificing flavor. Bonus: they have tons of great options for clean eating, like steamed dishes, lean proteins, and brown rice options. This place is serving up some legit Thai cuisine, probably one of the best in the neighborhood. High-quality ingredients shine through. I love noodle soup, and the wonton noodle soup is excellent. The shrimp/pork wonton are giant, plump, tasty, and mostly filled with shrimp. There's also chunks of sweet crab topping the soup. The tom yum soup with shrimp is delicious, the shrimp are large and perfectly cooked in the spicy, tangy broth (I get a side of rice noodles to make it tom yum noodle soup - a complete meal). Chef signature dish kaeng som goong cha ohm kai (shrimp and climbing wattle omlette in a sour curry broth) unique and delicious. Green curry with shrimp is really good.
