I stopped by for a quick bite; I was in Norman helping with COVID vaccines and I had some time to spare. I walked in and got a table outside to enjoy the warmER weather! I wasn't disappointed. I wasn't super hungry but knew I needed to eat because I would t have another chance until after 5pm, so I ordered one of their pick-2 lunch specials: I got the avocado toast and the wedge salad without tomatoes (bc ewwww they're slimy! It's a texture thing for me...). I love that they make their avocado toast with garlic bread, gives it a little extra OOMPH bc avocados and eggs can be bland by themselves. The salad was delicious as well. Lettuce was crisp and fresh and the dressing was mmmm! The ONLY reason I gave 4/5 stars was because the music was a bit too loud for me on the patio. This is such a great place to go to! They don't take reservations or call ahead wait list but it wasn't too bad. We waited about an hour. It was definitely the place to be! Pretty loud in there but still okay to have a conversation. I had the BEST breakfast burrito I probably had ever had. So so good. The chorizo was amazing and so was the verde sauce. Just the perfect amount of spice! Also I got the carafe of mimosas and was a fabulous deal that was! If you are thinking you might get two.. go ahead and get the carafe. Thank me later. My husband got a dish that he ended up not really being a fan of, but wanted to try something new. The service was fantastic and so was the food, so he wasn't going to say anything especially since there was nothing wrong with his food-just not his usual order. As they were pre-bussing our table they noticed that he didn't eat much of it. The manager came over and insisted that they bring something else out for him. When he finally agreed and the check came, they gave us the new dish for free AND took off his original order from the total. We were totally fine with not sending the dish back and just paying for it, so this was a pleasant surprise! All of the staff were very friendly and had great attitudes. This place was pretty awesome. We had sat in their patio, and the area was very well-decorated. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I started with the buffalo chicken wontons, and it was delicious. The wontons were crispy, had a bit of a kick, and it was very flavorful. Also, the bleu cheese didn't overpower the other ingredients. Next, I had the wedge and the filet. The salad was fresh, and it wasn't drenched with dressing. The filet was tender and well-seasoned. My only complaint is my mojito. I didn't realize I had to stir it up since it was so watery in the beginning. After stirring, it was a tad bit better. Still, it wasn't a properly made drink. I can't believe I've never heard of this place before today, but I wouldn't hold this gem inside for myself. Everyone needs to order two plates of the buffalo chicken wontons for themselves. I made the mistake of sharing with my boyfriend, but that won't happen again. He will have to order his own next time! I also loved the watermelon Fresca drink and spicy chicken nachos. Second visit and just and slightly more pleasant than the first; must be as we are sans children. :). My wife had the braised pork with sweet potatoes hash while I had the pork carnitas. Braised pork was tender and moist (not soaking wet) and lean, didn't find a piece of fat anywhere. I ordered the carnitas as I wasn't real hungry, that was until I tasted this gem. Wow it was great! The pork was tender and plentiful, there was just a slight heat which paired well with the feta crumbles. Loved it so much I ordered a second plate. First time here and the front is pretty cool chill spot with couches and a fireplace. We ended up sitting close to the front so every time people walk in/out we would feel the cold breeze.. there's a Tuesday special with $2 tacos, some appetizers, and some alcoholic beverage. The server was very nice and knowledgeable and ended up giving us an appetizers on the house due to our long wait. (1hr Tuesday around 7p) we ended up getting one of the $2 shot and it was disgusting! Tasted like licorice and the after taste lingers! I got the pork belly tacos and chicken.
