The outside area is large and is partially covered. For lunch I ordered a 10 piece boneless wings. For sauces I selected Korean BBQ, Chipotle BBQ, and ranch. The wings were outstanding. We found ourselves in OKC but did not expect the New England Patriots to be playing this late in the season when we booked our tickets. Accordingly, we pivoted from seeing the sights on a Sunday afternoon to looking for a tavern in which to watch the Patriots defeat the Houston Texans. We found the Deep Deuce and had a great afternoon sipping beer, eating pretzel sticks and watching football. Our bartender was great! She checked in on us frequently -- enough to ensure that we could order everything we wanted, but not so much that we felt pressured or rushed. I had a local IPA. I wish I could recall what it was called but I will long recall how flavorful it was! It was a great match for the pretzel sticks (which were served with a tangy cheese sauce). I was torn between the El Cubana and the Doc Haywood Dagwood. After talking with my server I went for the Dagwood which is a towering triple decker that lives up to its name. Piled high with layers of savory meats, fresh veggies, and sauce, it was a hearty, satisfying sandwich. The battered fries on the side were crispy, golddn and well seasoned. My wife went for the Lobster Roll. Plump, buttery lobster meat on a perfectly toasted roll. It's the first time she had one and said it was quite tasty. It's a small place seating about 60-80 inside with about a dozen seats at the bar. There is also a large patio which is getting plenty of use with the great November weather here. Well the rain missed us so we decided to take our baby (9 yr old dog) on an adventure. After a nice drive around town we stopped for some lunch and drinks. We wanted a dog friendly place and Deep Deuce Grill has a really nice outdoor patio area with partial cover. Note we have never been here. It was seat yourself and unfortunately it took about 10 mins for anyone to come to us and give us a menu. While we looked over the menu we had to ask for a bowl of cold water for our baby Sorcha (Sor-ka). The menu has a nice variety for whatever your taste maybe. We ordered the chicken enchilada dip. It was recommended by the server. It was very creamy which made for dipping chips awesome! It is a heavy type dip so beware on eating a follow up meal. My wife ordered El Deuce Burrito Bowl (w/chicken). She felt the proportion was great and worth the money. But the overall flavor was lacking due to the iceberg lettuce. She needed more salsa to compensate for lack of favor. Meanwhile, I had a basic house salad. My eyes popped at the size of it. The bowl was as big as my wife's meal! Well worth the price! But like my wife's meal. No flavor even when I added ranch. It was 85% iceberg lettuce, 10% of shredded carrots and 5% other. I ended up asking for some sliced onions to get a little flavor. Even though worth the money I am not big on salads with all iceberg lettuce. I want greens. Our drinks were over all good but nothing to write home to mom about. My wife had her boring (IMO) Sauvignon Blanc. She enjoyed her drink enough to order a second. I had the Jack Blackberry Smash. I was slightly underwhelmed as even though good flavor of blackberry you can't really taste the Jack. I am a friendly person. I want to get to know Jack so I added a shot of Jack reg Daniels. Honestly it made the blackberry even more pronounced. Overall. Nice outing, but it is likely going to be awhile before we come back. read more

My girlfriends and I went last Thursday to celebrate a birthday. We had high hopes for a great evening but I'm hoping our waitress was just having an off day. It took a bit before getting waited on, then menus throw down on table and quickly asked what to drink, keep in mind this was our first time here so we wanted a minute to look over the menus but after two ladies said water, the waitress assumed and said 4 waters, got it and took off. When food arrived only three dishes came out with the birthday girl's arriving about 5 minutes later. We were not asked how we wanted the bill split, again waitress assumed. Based on the crowds, I felt lucky to have procured a table, though reserved my enthusiasm because a 6-top also sat down during this time. Visited here for the first time this past Sunday. The restaurant was about an 8 mins walk from the SpringHill Suites hotel where I was staying. It was super crowded due to the basketball game. So there were no seats. I was told it is self seating and first come first serve. The staff were really kind and helpful. I ordered the lobster roll with red beans and rice as the side. The lobster roll was different than those that I've had in the past. It was more like lobster salad on a roll. The red beans and rice was also a little different than what I am used to. The sound level wasn't that loud considering all the people in there. There were also a few tv's over the bar to watch some sports. Also, they are not boneless wings, they are chicken strips. In my opinion, they should be labeled as such. They are good though.
