Food was okay. 3/5 stars given due to SLOW service. Restaurant wasn't too busy but everything still took forever. Was there probably 2 hours... A lot of the meat was undercooked, so order medium if you want medium rare, etc. Felt that food was overpriced. Also side note, we were the only people in there w plastic cups and everyone else had glass. Unsure of the reasoning behind that.

Grilled Elk Medallions with Huckleberry glaze

We eat here every time we stay at Turpin Meadows. The Elk Medallions are one of my favorite meals in the whole country. My husband loves the Ribeye. My friends ordered the Brussels sprouts and really liked them as well. All enjoyed with a spectacular view of the Tetons. And the wait staff is always on point. Quickly getting us whatever we needed.

Side salad only 3 more with dinner.

This place was super convenient to get to since we're at the Hatchett Resort connected on the property. I was hesitant to go here due to past reviews but we gave it a shot & we're glad we did. It's a tad pricey but everything we had was good and the portions were huge. I'll also add the menu says 18% gratuity is added to your check and it was not. We tip 20% for good service so they made out better with us by not adding it & I prefer that. So my husband ordered a mix bbq special with mixed veggies. It was all good and the veggies were not over cooked and tasted great. I had the steelhead trout with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes and added a side salad for 3.00 more. We each ordered a local beer on tap. Our bill was about 60. A tad pricey but again lots of quality food. Also the hostess and three young servers did an excellent job taking care of the restaurant they were in constant motion helping tables. Try it out!

I wasn't rude. I didn't scream the worst experience I've ever had. Are you coming to the establishment for six years sometimes my chicken wings come out cold I don't complain. Sometimes they came out raw. I didn't complain today. I waited 20 minutes before somebody even approached me. I went up to the ladies that I've been waiting really long time I'd like to place an order and she's a go don't come near me. I want to speak to the Managment about this. This is unbelievable for a client that comes here so many times 50% of the time they're inconsistent 50% of the time is delicious today this Waitress was so rude. I had such an arrogant Cavalier attitude. I don't know how she even can be around people like this. I know they're busy but you just don't talk to people like this and when I told her you shouldn't talk to me like that she threw me up. She threw me out and I guess you're not a lot of complain in this town with someone full short someone mistreat you you're not allowed to complain. The only thing they do is throw you out cause they don't wanna understand that they fell short and they have a shitty attitude. She could handle this completely different instead of insult me tell me don't come near me and she's not in the mood. She could've said. I know you've been waiting a long time. I'm sorry for that was what you could've said. I feel bad. We're gonna take care of you right now get your order in please be patient with us. We had a tough day. That's what you could've said. I understand you're frustrated, sir. Understand you way more than you should have. we're trying as hard as we can. I said she had a severe attitude. You just don't do this to a regular client. That's becoming there and never complained before ever even when the food was mediocre raw cold and it still came back you don't need a regular client and throw them out. This lady doesn't know how to deal with people under pressure and stressful situations. I'm reading another one star review that says the same thing about her and she seems annoyed with anybody that says something she's annoyed with anything when they fall short she doesn't wanna hear anything.

We were on a tour and our guide told us to eat here and have the Burnt End appetizer. Excellent choice and at $19 a pound it fed four of us. The picture was taken after a few bites. If you like burnt ends, I would give this place a try.

Disappointingly cold food every time…read more Best described as tasty reheated meats that aren't reheated enough. Unfortunate since it would have been delicious otherwise. We told the server the app (burnt ends) was cold. The entree (ribs and brisket) still came out cold. He brought replacement brisket and it was still luke warm at best. Oddly the Mac n cheese on the same plate was piping hot and scrumptious. The server told us he had gotten that complaint a lot lately and the cooks were trying to pin it on him for not getting the food fast enough. The service was friendly but painfully slow being that we sat at the bar. But don't they have a heat lamp for food that's waiting to be grabbed? And if slow food service was the issue, wouldn't the Mac n cheese have been cold too? Ambiance was casual and charming with ample bar seating, plenty of indoor tables, and a few outdoor spots as well. Multiple TVs were showing college football games, so at least we got to watch our team - even if we were uncomfortably gassy the rest of the night...

I stayed a few nights at the Lodge since the hotels were all booked up in Jackson Hole and it turns out that it was my great fortune! My stay was fine with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and high speed internet available. The hidden gem is definitely the Red Fox Saloon. The menu is limited, but totally fine given the challenge of the logistics to get supplies delivered up the mountain on a regular basis. Today, I was in the mood for a nice salad and big bowl of chili. Goodness, I was in luck! The salad was super sized with plenty of lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and other garden goodies! The chili was giant hot bowl filled with beans and a combination of bison and elk meat. I definitely tasted the elk, but if you fear enjoy meat other than beef, do not worry. It is a hot bowl of pure yumminess!

I asked the hostess if they was only server and then she found our server. We ordered drinks and food at the same time. Our drinks sat up on the counter of the bar for 8-10 minutes. I finally went and grabbed the drinks myself. One minute later the food came too. The food was cold. Fries were stale and bland. We got a Cesar salad which had the non fresh bad part of the romaine lettuce. The trout tacos tasted ok and the fish was fresh (thankfully, we were scared). When I asked for the bill, that was brought and processed immediately but I wasn't given the itemized statement. So I had to go back to the hostess as we rarely saw our server. Overall, would not recommend unless you're just coming for drinks. Unfortunately, not many options in this area.
