The food is excellent! Everything we've eaten is chef quality, nothing basic here. From the chicken Caesar salad, totchos, Bourbon BBQ wings, Buffalo meatloaf sandwich, to the prime rib sandwich the food is amazing! Aramark flexes it's culinary muscles in this quant mountain lodge perfectly!

    New York steak.

Beautiful view of Jackson Lake, good food, and good service, but expensive! The summer salad was…read morevery good, although it was more fruit-heavy (not too much greens) than I expected, but I love fruit, so that's fine! The fruit was excellent, and the ingredients went together well (goat cheese, candied pecans, mint). My daughter loved the trout entree (although it was pricy at $38!), and my son enjoyed his cup of chili. We weren't sure whether to get the cup or bowl, and the waiter said he thought the cup would be enough, but he offered to bring more chili for free if needed, and he was good on his word! The huckleberry creme brulee was excellent. The Basque cheesecake was good, although it wasn't browned like they usually are. The chocolate pecan pie was good although a bit decadent. Our servers were always very friendly and helpful.

Outdoor seating is also available, but we wanted to stay away from bugs. I'm going to start off with the highlight of our experience. It was the mocktails. We all got different ones, but they were each refreshing in their own way. My personal favorite were the huckleberry blends. These drinks were worth every penny. The food gave us some mixed feelings. We collectively enjoyed the house burger. It was flavorful, sweet and well balanced. The bison burger could have used more kick. I understand bison is a tough meat to work with in general, but I was expecting more from a restaurant that works (I assume) with bison regularly. It was nothing spectacular. The disappointment was the chef's special dish for that night which was their version of a salmon dish served on top of green beans and quinoa. The salmon was dry. Whoever cooked it either overcooked the fish or used frozen fish. Both situations are disappointing for a nice restaurant that wants us to pay nearly $40 such a dish. Despite the subpar meal, the mocktails were the saving grace of our experience which is why I'm ending this review with 4 stars.

The inside is cute, and the food & service were fantastic. The O.M.S. (Oats, Sunflower Seeds & Millet) pancakes with huckleberries were delicious and super filling. The Steak & Eggs were also great. We did ask for the steak medium rare and it came out more well done, but it was fine since the meat was still very tender. I also loved the hash browns and coffee. Service was excellent!! The staff were very friendly and frequently came by to refill our coffee. The food took some time to come out because they make everything fresh from scratch, but it was worth the wait. If you're in a rush, you might want to order baked goods to go instead of dining in.

The staff were incredible. So attentive, kind and quick. My almond milk latte came out so fast and it was delicious! My husband gave a thumbs up to the drip coffee too. My oatmeal was so huge, but fresh and the fruit was incredible. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich, but he too was not able to finish the hearty portion. We couldn't visit without trying baked goods so I had a chocolate croissant and my hubby the cinnamon twist. Both were yummy.

It is one of my absolute favorites,…read moregiven the beauty alone but also the accessibility, proximity to a fun town (Jackson) etc. The airport actually is within the national park (only park that has this feature), so if you land on a clear day you get a STUNNING view of the Tetons mountain range just to the west. Jackson is a 20ish min drive away, or if you go north toward Yellowstone you can pass along the scenic byway and stop along any of the turnouts for INCREDIBLE pictures, including the famous Mormon row. Go into the park toward Jenny lake for some of the most iconic spots, or a solid hike. Delta lake is a hard hike but it's STUNNING, and of course the hike +- the boat ride across Jenny lake to Cascade canyon and hidden falls is as stunning as they come. Oxbow bend is gorgeous for views and chilling too, and I saw folks fishing over in that area. Be aware that the lot at Jenny lake gets INSANELY full despite the fact that it is MASSIVE and has an overflow area, just cause the park is so popular. It is absolutely worth it. Do not miss this park - it lives rent free in my head and every time the weather is good outside I think about hiking in the Tetons!

Many pullouts are crowded with families taking pictures. - Because of my tight schedule, I only caught a more distant side view of the "tétons". (I think the 19th-century fur trappers coulda done better) + Still gotta admit, the outstanding shape of those giant, uniquely jagged mountains jutting from the idyllic vegetation and Jackson Lake sure make for a photogenic backdrop.
