    French Onion Soup
    Rudy M.

It was right next to our hotel. My family got salads and my dad got a pretty good Bison Burger. I got the French onion soup and it was bomb. The pub salad was so good, including the dressing that was fire. My dad's fries were perfectly fresh and cooked. We all shared artichoke dip with toasted bread and my dad and I chose pretty good beer. It was overall a great place to eat at so I'll definitely be coming back here one day. Great finish to my first day in Yellowstone.

Bar/restaurant in West Yellowstone. No slipper otter to be found. They have a big selection of beer but do tend to run out of certain ones. Service was good. Our waitress was very friendly. We also saw our waiter from another restaurant at this one.

We went here for a later dinner. We did have to wait for a table as we were a party of 5, but it didn't take long at all. Our server was attentive enough and honest about some of the food items. Pretty much skip the fish n chips and get a burger. I tried the pepper burger. Very very good. My BIL tried the bbq chicken Hawaiian pizza and enjoyed that a lot. My sister tried the French onion soup. I kinda wish I'd tried that. It looked very fresh and she loved it. We also got couple appetizers. We tried the spinach artichoke dip and the jalapeño wontons. The apps were definitely a great choice! Our service was great. But the atmosphere definitely gives off a bit more of a bros bar. Nothing wrong with that at all. But it's definitely a pub. But the important part is that the food was very very good. If I ever visit west Yellowstone again I'd stop by for a bite.

Great waiter, patient while we made our choices. Good appetizers, we had the spinach dip and fried wontons. 2 16" pizzas fed 5 people. Good taste.

Bison burger and have to ask for cheese to be added

Amazing service and food! I had the bison burger with American cheese and it was delicious and very filling! My husband had the elk burger and that was even better IMO. They were closing soon and took us in bc we had kids and honestly every person from the moment we walked in, to the bus boys, they were all so sweet and just readily available to offer suggestions and information. Will definitely come back! Harvest beer was amazing!!!!!!!

Amazing food and service. The bison burger was so good and homemade fries were the perfect combo! Highly recommended eating here.

Potato soup was their soup of the day

Madison Crossing Lounge - Elk Ossobuco. Fall off the bone. Be sure get the marrow from the bone and put it on the elk. Paired wine went well with it. 5/5.

With our expectations in check, we chose this restaurant for last nights supper. What a pleasant surprise!! The menu was comprised of interesting dishes that you won't find every day. The service was spot on. Knowledgeable, friendly, patient, welcoming. Our dishes were a pure delight. We enjoyed Idaho trout, bison steak, their speciality salad, and blueberry bread pudding. Every dish was delightful; fresh, full of local flavors. If you visit West Yellowstone, this place is the second most important destination right after the park!

The Huckleberry lemonade was very good and was recommended. While Reis was good, the asparagus and mashed potatoes were very good. The bison tenderloin was good, but I think it's better served as a ground meat in a burger form. It was tender, but not as flavorful as some of the other bison, I've recently had. The ambience is a pub/bistro setting. The service was exceptional as my server attended to me several times to check in on how was my meal

We were very thankful it was still open as late in the season as it was. But we walked in, were greeted warmly and took a seat in their spacious dining room. Our server Hollie was prompt and friendly and took our two orders. My wife went for a Classic Cheeseburger ($16.99) with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle spear, a choice of cheese (Cheddar, Pepper Jack, American, or Blue Cheese), and a side of house made chips. We were stunned to see the burger was in reality a DOUBLE burger, so the portion was very large, and those home made potato chips were sensational. I went with the Fish Tacos ($17.99) with Mahi-Mahi Fish, Shredded Cabbage, Pico de Gallo, Red Pepper Crema, Flour Tortillas, Tortilla Chips & Salsa. There were three very large tacos with plenty of fish and were delicious. The weak link was clearly the tortilla chips which suspiciously looked like they were from a bag of Tostitos. Our very enjoyable dinner ran around $36 after tax/before tip. PRO TIPS Attention gambling fiends! There is a casino room in the restaurant with seven slot-type machines and an ATM machine. In search of restrooms? You'll have to physically leave the restaurant through a back door into the Holiday Inn property. The restrooms are in a hallway at the Holiday Inn.

The buffet has some decent options with eggs, french toast, yogurt, oatmeal, fruits, bacon, and more. Other than the bomb french toast, all the other food was very mid - for example, the eggs are kinda dry - Dinner the bison stroganoff was pretty good. Trout was kinda fishy. Service throughout was very pleasant!
