If you value your health at all you will avoid this place like the plague the absolute worst service staff can hear loud music from the back employees arguing from kitchen and waited over an hour for raw chicken strips and a steak that wasn't cooked right and was sick for 4 days after eating here im serious the worst place I've ever been

Cool concept and restaurant interior had potential. Unfortunately, it was just meh. Go somewhere else when in Gardiner.

Weak vegetarian options, mediocre food quality. Best things to say: good service and huge TVs for watching sports

When you go here, make sure you get the steak strips from Trever or Maria. Then spin the wheel.

I arrived around 7 PM and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. The restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Prosciutto Pasta with a side of bread. The pasta was outstanding -- easily one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a long time. The combination of braised chicken, prosciutto, mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and creamy parmesan-mascarpone sauce came together perfectly. Every bite was flavorful, rich, and satisfying without feeling heavy or dry. As someone preparing for a half marathon the next morning, it was the perfect carb-loading meal. I also ordered the Huckleberry Sundae for dessert. If you're visiting the Yellowstone area, do yourself a favor and try something with huckleberries. The ice cream, topping, and whipped cream were fantastic, and it ended up being one of my favorite desserts from the trip. One unexpected bonus was getting to chat with other travelers at the bar, including another runner who was also working toward completing a half marathon in all 50 states. It added to the friendly, welcoming feel of the place. Overall, Madison Crossing Lounge delivered excellent food, a great atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. I don't hand out many five-star reviews, but this one earned it. If I'm back in West Yellowstone for another race or a visit to Yellowstone National Park, I'll absolutely be returning. You don't have to be dressy or childless, but the menu and ambiance are ever slightly more grown-up than other options. Prices reflect that while still being reasonable. Standard salads were refreshing start to unwind after crowds at Yellowstone. Excellently buttered and pan-seared trout with grilled asparagus and sauteed snap peas were wonderful. Timing is everything. Try to arrive before 6pm to avoid the queue. (Restaurant opens at 5pm; moderate sized dining room.) The (Montana-sized portion of) huckleberry ice cream seemed popular with many diners.

They squeezed us in - a lovely lounge spot by the fire. We had two kids , 5 and 7, hangry from a day on the slopes - and they were so kind. Food arrives on room-service carts, and ours was all Cold. Not just temperate or not-hot, but room-temp. $25 Wagyu Cheeseburger sound pretty good? Nope. It wasn't even kept under a heatlamp between the era when it was made and when it was served. Edges were dry and cold, not even warm in the center, zero juice. I get it, resort prices, convenience of eating in the Summit Lodge, trying hard not to complain about the $25 price, but it was just a limp cold burger. Fries? Also cold. I mean, the least they could have done, after recognizing the long time passed between making the meal and serving it, is refresh the fries, no? Cold greasy fries, cold dry overcooked burger. One star at any price. It's not like there's a shortage of burger options right at the Summit either. Am I going to complain that it was $75 for three burgers at our table? No, not if they were hot juicy Wagyu Cheeseburgers, but then, these were not.

The food and drinks were excellent, but the highlight of the night was Trent. We were looking for recommendations on things to do in the area, and Trent absolutely delivered. Scenic drives, sightseeing spots, Yellowstone stops, local attractions--you name it, he had a recommendation for it. The suggestions were coming faster than we could write them down, and every time we thought he was done, he'd remember three more places we needed to see. His food and cocktail recommendations were spot on, and he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. As an added bonus, his voice carries exceptionally well, so hearing all of those recommendations was never an issue, even on a busy Friday night. Copper is a great spot, but Trent is what made the experience memorable. If you find yourself sitting at his bar, settle in--you'll leave with a great meal, a great drink, and a much longer list of places to visit than you arrived with.

The place is "underground" so to speak - so it had a very attractive setting for dinner. The bar area is HUGE. Great selection of local MT brews which is always a plus in my book. My daughter ordered the Cooper Burger ($19), SIL ordered the Bison Ragu ($29), my bride ordered Brussel Sprouts ($16) and I ordered the Pan Seared Trout ($29). Everyone was very pleased with their selections. I personally loved the trout - it's seasoning and was cooked to perfection...along with the broccolini and sweet potato hash it was a great choice. Service was super friendly from Kendra. We recommend and would definitely come back again!

The rooftop views alone are worth the visit -- mountains in every direction and such a great atmosphere, especially around sunset. There's also a free two-hour parking area directly across the street which made it super easy. We shared the bison burger and the peach bourbon wings, and both were excellent. The wings especially had the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Drinks were also great. What really made the experience stand out though was the service. Our server was a 10th-generation Montanan (wish I remembered her name!) and she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive the entire time. I usually don't haunt hotel bars but I had a F&B credit and I read really good reviews about this place, so we decided to come in and check it out. We sat at the bar and that was a great idea. The bartender was friendly and made us laugh a lot. She was also very good at her job and made us some excellent cocktails. We ordered from the cocktail menu, but she was ready to make whatever you wanted, except for a Captain and Mountain Dew because unfortunately they don't have Mountain Dew at the hotel. And don't worry, it wasn't me ordering that. Not that I'd shame anyone for their cocktail choices but the gentleman and lady next to us had some interesting combinations they wanted to order. We also ordered the carrot cake pops. Man those were good too. We contemplated coming in the next day for some more. We liked them that much. The ambiance of this rooftop bar is also fantastic. It's large and decorated really well but the piece de resistance was the outside and the views of Downtown Bozeman. The cozy fire pits and comfy seating were very appealing. I only wish we didn't stroll in from our hotel room and wore more clothes so we could have sat out there the whole time. Oh well, there's always next time.
