We celebrated Father's Day with a delicious brunch here for a very reasonable price. The staff was so friendly and attentive and the breakfast buffet offered so many options. They're located at the marina and the views are beautiful. It was a great way to begin our day. Definitely returning to try their restaurant.

While visiting family, we went to this very nice waterfront restaurant that seems to be a classic building but in excellent condition and has great views of the river. The wood tables are spaced far enough apart to hold conversations but also keep your conversations private. Our waitress was fast, friendly and had the prettiest blue eyes. She was helpful in selecting our meals too, which was welcomed because the menu is quite eclectic and had tons of options as well.

Came here from a recommendation from my aunt and uncles neighbor and it did not disappoint. Great 'on the water', with music and the menu had a ton of awesome choices - although that does make it difficult to choose - but it's awesome when u have options that are different than your used to and have a hard time deciding. I opted for the crabby pita. Wow crab! My other half had a very porky- porky pig flatbread! lol. My aunt and uncle had a cheesesteak and loaded nachos For appies- helloooo coconut shrimp with a fantastic (I have to find the recipe) raspberry horseradish sauce, and pretzel bites. It was hot sitting in the sun, but we had a very friendly waitress and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thanks waterfront. Formerly from NJ (me) but now a Californian- took my boyfriend to Nj to check it out - and this was a nice surprise addition for our tastebuds out here. Thank you!

I came with my kids on a weekend night to get out of the house and hear some live music. We were sat quickly by a very friendly hostess. Our server was great and on point! Kids enjoyed their food and my cheesesteak was delicious. Had enough to take home to my husband!

Came on a Sunday morning for brunch. The service was excellent with recommendations and pointing out examples with explanations of everything. This is a sprawling property with multiple areas and bars. All tastefully decorated. Perfect place for a meeting, date or taking your grandma out. The food was middle of the road. It presented well and had some originality with some dishes but some repeats you can get from other local restaurants at a smaller price point. I'd go again pending the rotating specials

My family and I had a very positive experience at The Waterfront - we sat upstairs for the river view and were not disappointed, The staff was young, energetic and attentive, the food was first class. The first plus for me was the elevator, sometimes it's the little things that make me appreciate a restaurant. The menu is diverse, there's a happy hour and plenty of dishes available if you're really hungry or just want drinks and a snack. Our table ordered nachos, coconut shrimp and a round of their lobster bisque. I ordered a Ruben sandwich along with a Cape May draft and ended up taking half home, it was really delicious. I'm looking forward to nuking the other half tomorrow for lunch. The grounds are pretty, there's plenty of parking and it's sits right on the Forked River. What's not to love.

Had this to go and had the penne vodka it was pretty good. The flavors were nice. Was fresh sauce was good on it that they have to try it more of what they offer here. Good views on the water too.

After months of seeing people complain about the high prices (pssst- you are not their target…read moreaudience), I finally gave it a try. If you are looking for very high quality food from a restaurant that does not skimp on details, you will not be disappointed. Everything was SO delicious and so much attention and care was put into everything. Everything, and I made everything, is made in-house. The bread and crackers were excellent. The prime beef tartar was tasty, but the flavors were slightly strong on some pieces. We nearly ordered two of the Blue Fin Tuna Tartar because it was so incredibly fresh (the fish was purchased at the market that morning). The Moroccon Cigar with filo and lamb was fried to perfection. The filet mignon was PERFECTLY cooked (drool). But my absolute favorite was the plum and apple galette- oh my gosh. If you like fruity desserts, this was to die for. I would go back just for this. But the details are what made dinner a truly special experience. The menu covers are made from a high quality leather. The steak knives are engraved. Everyone was seated in different areas of the restaurant for added privacy. As I mentioned, EVERYTHING is homemade. When we left, we received two homemade cookies. Aside from the server making a couple of comments that made me feel like I was a woman living in 1945, service was exceptional and the diversity of the staff was wonderful! We ordered one drink, two appetizers, two entrees and a dessert and spent around $200 with tip. Overall, a fantastic experience. I will be back soon.

When the delivered food wasn't quite right, she quickly got a replacement. She is a wonderful server and has been there for years. Live band was really good today. Overall, we think the food (we've had fish tacos and cheesesteaks) is even better this year. Their french fries are to die for--you're crazy if you don't get them. Only downside is the greatly increased price of the lump crab, but I guess that's economic reality.

The waitress handled herself with such grace and kindness after the man continued to give her a hard time. Later, I listened as he requested for her to ask the manager to take off a percentage for him being he was a veteran. After she walked away, they started laughing and the one guy said, you're too much. It was clear that he wasn't being honest. He certainly wasn't a veteran and sadly the couple we were with has a son serving in the military. Unfortunately, this man took advantage of this opportunity and I was upset to see that someone would lie about serving our country. I did compliment the waitress for handling that table with dignity after being treated so poorly. She did say they honored a 10% off discount for him and it wasn't warranted because he lied. Kudos to your wait staff for dealing with rude customers and liars.

Well mannered , knowledgeable about the menu , sincere all well moving with a purpose. He treated us a lonely table of 2 like we were his only priority well simultaneously handling a 10 , 4 and 6 top. We sat in the side dining room facing the kitchen pass. We watched 6 pros handle business. Minimal words just chin gestures and some pointing. Some serious heat was moving thru that kitchen being passed to runners that kept that fire alive calling for garnish extra sauce and accoutrements as if it was Orchestra.Food was phenomenal. Egregious portions. Flavors layer. Sweet salty fatty creamy one after another nothing standing too far out or too far behind. The spice in the seafood dish was about right to let you know it was there but not over stay it's welcome. Plump seafood with a clean finish. We shared a bite with each other and went for seconds. The dessert a catcher's mitt size of chunk of old style ricotta cheese cake. Mind you all this was happening when they were serving a wedding of 50 in the back room. Two cons. The a/c wasn't working it was a little warm. I won't harp too much on that we had extreme weather the day prior. Number 2 . Truffle oil. The table next to us ordered truffle fries. We smelt it , the table on the far side of us smelt it. Truffle oil is so strong you can smell it on your clothes the next day.

I think it is probably more of a bar type of restaurant and vibe. That's definitely the feel of the place. Service was friendly and very good. We shared a rainbow roll, it was just average. I had a cheesesteak it was large, and I ate the rest of it the next day. The flavor was just a little on the mediocre side. My wife had sliders and she said they were good. The french fries were very good. I will definitely go back and try other things on the menu. I recommend this place for people that like to drink, it look like there could be a lot of fun in that bar area. I would imagine in the summer this place is really busy.

When we ordered a flat bread off the menu and asked for a different cheese seemed like no problem but was told "We can't because it's already on there" right there you know the whole menu has to be premade as a flat bread would be the easiest for toppings to be changed.. Sadly to say we ordered the chicken tacos YES I KNOW BETTER... probably scooped with an ice cream scooper...Totally processed even the guacamole needless to say one bite and done.. One plus the bartenders were super attentive and nice.. Would go back for a drink... Mostly a large bar and high tops...laid back nice local crowd.

Food, service, ambiance all need work…read more -1 our Group of 7 had a reservation for 7:45 at a high top, and we arrived early so we asked if we could be seated early. There was an outside table but the music was so loud we all would've had to yell at each other. +1 Our inside table was ready on time. +1 our server was wonderful so I'm not going to mention her name because she knows our experience was less than wonderful, and none of it was her fault. She had tables spread across the entire restaurant and the bar was running super slow and the patio seating was jam packed and there was a wedding upstairs. -1 we had three orders of the $52 seafood risotto. All three came out undercooked with crunchy uncooked rice, as if the cook decided that he didn't cook enough for all three, and added more at the last minute and it didn't cook enough. Two of the three people that ordered were too hungry to wait but the birthday boy was pretty upset not only was the risotto very undercooked, the shrimp was rubbery and the scallops were severely raw. Like, Gordon Ramsay smashing the plate level raw. Totally unacceptable. +1 all the other food was wonderful especially the seafood fra diavolo but we could've used proper pasta spoons for the dish. -1, the teenagers that brought out our plates, every single time, didn't know what table they were serving so asked if we ordered what they were delivering. When they did it right, one kid even thanked us because "he'd been scammed once that night already" when he brought food to the wrong table and they kept it.... Two servers brought the incorrect dishes to our table, and one of them was after we were finished with our entrees. After asking the waitress why this was happening she said they had just changed over the dining room from a wedding function so the teenagers didn't know which table numbers were being used. That is a training problem the manager needs to address. -1 when the birthday boy got his replacement meal, the green bean side had several beans with stems not cut off... -1 you are charging $52-$68 for your seafood dishes and they are being served on melamine plastic dishes. That is a huge turnoff. If I am going to pay that much money for overcooked shrimp and raw scallops they better not come out in a plastic plate in a region like this where there are Ferraris and corvettes in the parking lot and folks are floating up in yachts that cost more than my house. After all this, the manager didn't have a single minute to come talk to us so she made her waitress do all of the heavy lifting. We were there with a family that had been there before but hadn't gotten sit/down dinner entrees, only hand food and sandwiches. They've always been happy with that so we decided to come here. Maybe we will come back when we are in town again but it won't be for $52 uncooked rice on plastic plates.
