Have been trying tO get here for quit sometime the cook use to work at the little restaurant in Lothian just off Rt4 in the old barn. Food was always tasty hot And did i say good! I was on Local flavor and noticed a coupon $15 for $30 so I purchased a few. Wife and I drove to church town to go try the Wagon Wheel for a early dInner late lunch. We arrived 3:30 noticed no one was there that's because the sign on the door they closed in 30 min at 4. We went in and asked about eating and we sat down or server was great and very friendly. Lots of items on the menu we ordered our drInks they have Pepsi products and fReah brewed ice tea. I ordered the cowboy burger it came with smoked ham and a fresh made burger with cheddar cheese and sauce one it and fresh cut fries. The wife ordered the pulled pork platter came with coleslaw and she also got mixed veggies we alsO ordered the onion rings for before our meal. The onion rings were pretty good our meals came and the burger look great the fresh cut fries were nice and crispy I cut the burger in half. My wife's plate was big you get a lot of meat nice portions of veggies and coleslaw at first I though the coleslaw was potato salad because it was very yellow I took at taste and it was pretty good it had a little mustard flavor bbt very good as was the meat you put on the bbq that you want there was 4 different ones. The kind of sweet with a kick and traditional one were good. Everything was very good I would like to rEturn during the week when they have daily special for meals. I did ask for some onions and they were completely out, I would have liked to have had a slice of the apple sauce cake but I was full next time we won't get an appetizer before eating. Check out the local flavor for greaat saving at many restaurant in the area. We will return can't wait to try a dinner.

Small restaurant with very little signage out front. I came here because of other reviews about homemade sausage patties. The sausage was not homemade patties and probably was Smithfield sausage patties. The scrapple was deep fried instead of pan fried. It is acceptable in most restaurants to do that but it becomes very greasy. Other than that the service was great on the food was very tasty. We probably have to accept some corner cutting with the problems restaurants are dealing with in this covid era. Uncle roy.

Get on your scooter and do a breakfast run to here! Great service, very clean, nice people and a great breakfast. Make sure to get the Sausage gravy over corn bread! This place also does BBQ. Looks like a great carry out menu too. We'll be back to check that out.

The Wagon Wheel is EVERYTHING a local, hometown eatery should be...and more. MUCH more. First...the family that runs it. Genuine and welcoming...making you feel as if you are visiting a friend's home for dinner. Under Chef Dean, this spot offers up MUCH more than your "standard" food. That starts with brisket or pulled pork nachos and a list of appetizers not to be missed. Extraordinarily good fried pickles with remoulade on the side. Onion rings done right. And smoked chicken wings to rival anything you would get at a high priced spot. As for entrees...you can pretty much throw a dart at the menu and come up with something delicious. Fall off the bone ribs, unique burgers, hearty meatloaf, an incredibly unique Cuban sandwich using pit ham and pulled pork in place of standard ingredients...everything that came to the table was delicious. Don't forget to check out the specials...like tender pit beef and fried chicken. Sides are no throwaway. Best potato salad I've had outside of my own. Perfect coleslaw. Great mac & cheese. If you're lucky...they'll have some of their Heath bar cake to top it off. We were here most recently for my husband's birthday with a group of friends. He had a serious accident over a month ago and is not able to walk or move a lot. This was his first change of scenery in a while...and they went above and beyond, putting up balloons and birthday tablecloths...and making sure he was comfortable. They also cater and deliver! Bottom line? The Wagon Wheel is worth a trip from wherever you are.

Stay far, far away. When a med rare burger comes back well done, and it's painful to swallow the brisket b/c it's so dry, run the other way.

My husband and I traveled over an hour by boat to celebrate his birthday. He knew he wanted a crab cake sandwich and he had already picked his drink out from the menu on their Facebook. We arrived, ordered our drinks and the server came back and said they couldn't make the drink he ordered. No big deal. He ordered another drink and we ordered the crab dip. The dip came out extremely quickly, and was barely warm. The bread they served it with was an odd choice, it was so soft. Not a bread for dipping. The dip was also full of shells. So then we ordered our entrees, they tell my husband they're out of crab and don't have crabcakes....a waterfront restaurant is out of crab cakes? What about the crab dip we had just ordered? That tells me that dip wasn't fresh. He ended up getting the smoked Rachel. The sandwich itself he said was fine. We shared his fries and they were soggy. I ordered a wedge salad, and the dressing was gross. I don't even know what it was, it didn't taste like any blue cheese dressing I've ever had before. It was so sweet it was nearly inedible. It tasted like Cole slaw dressing that had been made with too much sugar. There was another table within ear shot of us and a patron was complaining about everything. I felt bad for the server so for that reason, I didn't say anything. I just asked for a box and threw away my salad when we got home. We certainly won't be making anymore special trips just to eat here. The creek crushes were good.

"Waste o' time, Bobby, you won't find the critter there," Sam Guthrie (Cannonball), the oldest of the teenagers that make up the New Mutants, responded, "It'll be here." "What are you talking about, Sam? Explain yourself!" "Stands t' reason, ever since we've known her, Dani's had a special fear of a spirit bear she said murdered her parents. None of us really really gave the story much credit, after all who believes in magic?" Sam paused oh so slightly before continuing. " 'Cept Illyana's a real witch, an' we fought demons and sorceresses. Maybe Dani wasn't kidding." Sam shifted his tone to reveal his evidence. "Illyana tells me Dani spent the last week or so in the Danger Room fighting bears! T'night, she walked out into a [winter] storm, alone, armed with a bow an' arrows an' wearing war paint! And got mauled. We were wrong t' doubt her. We should'a listened, we should'a seen the signs." Whenever my wife and I visit a restaurant or bar for the first time, whether we are there by ourselves or--in this case--treated to a meal by our favorite neighbors--I can count on her to sort through, heed, and pick up on every nuance in every aspect of culinary service that is there to be sensed. In this case, at the Dockside Restaurant & Sports Bar at 421 Deale Road in Maryland, the food was mostly wonderful, and the prices were more than reasonable for this economy. What prevents Dockside from receiving at least four stars was primarily the service. Two orders of fries, one sweet potato and one regular, weren't hot; and although our waitress reluctantly brought one of the orders back to exchange it for a new batch, the fries didn't taste any warmer. Our other host ordered his crabcake lightly-fried, only for it to be brought out broiled. He still enjoyed it, but it wasn't exactly what he wanted or ordered. By the end of the meal, it became obvious that, if we return, we need to ask for Sarah, who, although she was tending the bar and wasn't even our waitress, still brought one of our neighbors a fresh cup of Pepsi Zero that she could take on our return trip home. Sarah also exhibited a great sense of humor, an attentiveness and an attention to detail, and, most importantly, remembered with pleasure our hosts, who have dined there frequently. Apart from the pumpkin cheesecake, which was so infused with nutmeg and pumpkin spice that even Linus from Peanuts couldn't have tasted the pumpkin, and the lukewarm fries, our meals were terrific. I devoured the perfectly-seasoned shrimp from the fried shrimp platter; everyone loved their onion rings and their cream of crab and Maryland crab soups; and we all agreed that the crabcakes, boiled and fried, were scrumptious.
