The buzz was right. I've always got my eyes and ears open for new coffee spots and when I heard The Valley Buzz opened I added it to my list of places I'd like to support. I always try to support local before the big chains and I'm so glad I decided to head over to Peoria today to check them out. I knew instantly this was my vibe by the way o was greeted and the conversation that came so easy. I hate that awkward small talk you get sometimes. Today was all smiles and was thankful for their patience as I went t over the menu. They are still currently serving their holiday drinks, plus their latte's and basic menu stables such as cold brew (my favorite) and of course cappuccinos and energy drinks. The options don't stop there if you aren't a coffee lover. They also have smoothies, lemonades and even small bites such as bagels and breakfast sandwiches, yum. Today I knew I was trying their cold brew which is locally sourced from Press Coffee. I was pleased to see you could even buy it to go in the cans. I will definitely do that next time so I can enjoy it at home too. Today I wanted to try multiple drinks so I ordered my usual cold brew with hwc and sf vanilla and a birthday cake latte (sprinkles and all). I had a few of my teens with me so we also ordered a Silver Bell off their Christmas menu which is a gingerbread chai with whipped cream and cinnamon and a Blondie off their signature menu. We were told it's one of their most popular. We got that one blended since my son doesn't care for basic iced options. I didn't get food this time since we were headed to another local spot soon after, but I'll be back to let you know when I do. Service was phenomenal. So kind and welcoming. After talking for a few I realized they have been open about a year and took over a precious spot. There were quite a few people inside; many who were working on laptops a s others just enjoying the day. The inside isn't too large, but offers a cozy couch and multiple tables as well as a high top around the d the window area. Great find. Support local and give these guys a chance. Came here based on reviews and honestly I was underwhelmed. Ordered a coffee cake (which was never given), bagel with cream cheese that came cold not toasted which was odd, Iced shaken brown sugar espresso (not as good as Starbucks), Marshmallow latte, and Matcha latte that initially was made incorrectly. The bagel was terrible and cold, the brown sugar shaken espresso was fair at best it lacked flavor depth, the Starbucks dupe just didn't live up to that minimum standard. The marshmallow latte was fair, as well as the Matcha latte fair as well. Unfortunately aside from the almost $40.00 bill and missing a $5.00 item the rest was just really underwhelming. Stopped in for the first time and the reviews make sense. The place is clean and has a chill vibe with a beautiful mural on the wall. There are lots of options but the menu doesn't feel overwhelming. I tried the pumpkin spiced iced chai off of their fall menu and it's delicious. This is definitely a go to local spot and easily competes or beats the chains around in pricing. Great coffee, great customer service. Both the cashier and manager were very kind and the let me taste a sample of their regular hot coffee which was super good. I am not a black coffee drinker at all but I would consider drinking their coffee black. Prices are amazing too. I tried their cold brew with almond milk, very good. We are always on the prowl for good coffee. To be fair, the coffee we drink is pretty different from what I typically see on reviews. I don't like sweet in my coffee, so I have no idea about how their sweet drinks are, but the americano I had was very good. The espresso was smooth and well pulled, the drink was hot and served to us at the table. We had been to this location during the pandemic when it was under different ownership. The new owners have eliminated the crepes and added açaí bowls, which I plan on trying on my next visit. I'm not sure if the pretty, petite young woman we spoke with was the owner or an employee, but she had a great smile and she was refreshingly upbeat. This is well worth coming back to for the coffee and the smile. read more

Cute coffee shop just opened under new management a few weeks back. We tried Carmel frappes and they were really good! They have some small food items too like bagels, avocado bagel, muffins and oatmeal. We will definitely be back! Amazing coffee! It is Hard to find cold brew that is not acidic or bitter but this cold brew is great without any sweetener! Their lattes are also delicious. Def gives me better buzzed vibes from SD. First of all, I'm not a coffee drinker but this is the best chai latte I've had since moving to Arizona. After getting my nails done next door I literally went back and told them that. About a year ago I discovered The Valley Buzz. It was located down the street from where I was living. Once I tried their coffee, I was hooked! It is a very cozy and comforting coffee shop, perfect for studying or meeting up with friends. Justin, the owner, is thoughtful and always asking your opinion on different coffees or ideas. You can tell he has put his heart and soul into this place. His two stellar employees Josiah & Mikluv are always so welcoming! When it gets busy Josiah can multitask and whip out your drink in minutes, it is seriously impressive. I refer to Mikluv as the drink wizard because she always has new ideas that taste phenomenal! She really puts the love into her drinks! They use Press Coffee which is very smooth and rich in taste, it does not have that "bitter" taste so no need to adds tons of sugar to cover the original coffee flavor. I have relocated further away from this coffee shop, but every time I'm in the area I have to stop and get a coffee, tea, smoothie or energy drink. I highly recommend checking this place out! Too much milk not enough coffee. Got a latte. They have a remake policy if you don't like your drink. The manager was nice and accommodating when we asked them to remake our drinks. It still wasn't right, too much milk even with an added shot. Wanted to let them know too much milk to try to give feed back, but the barista started arguing with me. No extra flavors for coffee listed on their TV screen menus. They pull doubles for 16oz and 3 for their 20+oz. Wonder if they are trying to save cost on coffee by adding more milk? read more

I wasn't even planning on coming here because I don't drink coffee but the UPS store convinced me lol. I had the passion fruit tea with a little peach flavoring and it is the BEST!! At other places I've gotten tea it was either too bitter or too sweet and this is perfectly brewed!! This is my first time in and I loved the style/decor of the store very clean and just a pleasant welcome environment. As promised by the UPS store, Justin was the best. We're constantly looking for new coffee spots in this side of Peoria since we don't have many options. I found The Valley Buzz on a nice Sunday morning and headed there for my caffeine fix. Walking in the place was beautifully decorated in a somewhat minimalist style and very inviting. I was immediately greeted by the cashier, he was smiley and friendly and very helpful when answering questions about the different drinks I was considering. I'm not a picky person so I asked that they prepare an iced drink of any kind and also ordered one of they seasonal energy drinks called "El Borracho". While I waited for my drinks we took the time to check out a shelf they had lined with candles and bags of Press coffee beans. The candles smelled amazing and had the most clever names such as "Your Man's Cologne" "Chillin' with the Homies" etc. My drinks were ready so fast I didn't have time to look at all the candles. The iced drink I was surprised with was a lovely concoction of creamy coffee and raspberry syrup, it was sweet but not overly and it had zero bitterness. It was so amazing I had to take a sip of the energy drink, even though I ordered it for my boyfriend. It was as amazing as the iced coffee! I chugged my coffee without even thinking of taking a picture which would've made this review much more interesting! They had already won me over and then I overheard the guy behind the counter tell the cashier to help me take the drinks to my car since I had my hands full with my 9 month old. No one does that nowadays! I was able to carry both drinks myself but the cashier still walked with me and opened the door for me. Seriously, this is a rare occurrence this day and age. read more

Both drinks were phenomenal and came out super fast. They use press coffee beans which I am a huge fan of. The guy working the front was super friendly and provided great service.
