Girlfriend and I stopped to enjoyed the free smells of burning bacon and coffee, where we ended up staying for brunch. It's cozy place to enjoy an amazing morning, and the bright employees who I enjoyed speaking with! All I have to say is the coffee? We ended up getting two extra large cinnamon sticky bun iced coffees and I know that I'll be coming back. Hope to see local businesses like this grow and get a bit more recognition! Oh. Coming in it was super cute. It only has three tables of four and two tables of two and several counter seats. The girls were very friendly and explain things. The prices are very reasonable.. I haven't had coffee since April I actually May and the small cups of coffee. I'm very big they're actually enough for two people or one person with a 2nd cup. The girl was very nice. She gave my favorite flavor for a half a cup and charge me for half a cup I may not even drink that much because it's already bothering me but not their fault. They have several rise of coffee many flavors. They also have many flavors of bagels. You can get your sandwiches on a choice of like 12 different kinds of bread or rolls.. This morning for breakfast I had a sandwich Spaniard it was egg cheddar cheese and grilled chorizo sausage it comes with salsa, but I didn't want the extra heavy and only 575 which was amazing. And it was huge. I can't even finish it. It's so big. The honey had sausages and eggs. He got three sausage patties, the side of hashbrowns that come with peppers in them rainbow peppers, and the two eggs plus toast and we got two coffees. The total was a little bit more than I expected, but less than I thought it was gonna be. We also got two homemade peanut butter and jelly muffins to go with the honey and the daughter. But is a super cute place. It's hidden in a strip mall with a feed shop and it gives you directions to go like around the corner, but in actuality right on the main street right there and so you don't have to go around the corner. Is minimal parking about 3 to 4 space in the front because she has it with other businesses obviously gonna be limited on the parking, but there's also about six or eight space in the back of the building. Everything is fresh and delicious and as I said, they're very friendly and have no problem with us as new customers explaining everything. Her name is Kellsey she was amazing. She really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and she was just one of those exceptional people that you hope you find the most every restaurant behind the counter. Really check out this place you would be worth a trip for breakfast I mean, I couldn't bring myself in 25 of my friends because there isn't supposed to sit down but I would definitely come back here again. Have breakfast another day. I was actually on Yelp and was looking for was looking for a place to have breakfast after doing an errand with the angel tree and put it in the Yelp out, asking for breakfast places nearby and it came up with this first so here we are. I've been here a countless number of times over the years with varying results. Since changing owners, the place got a small facelift which is working for it. The employees have a joking rapport with the regulars which is fine but a lot of the time it distracts from the customers that they are actively serving. Currently, their seasonal apple pie cream cheese is awesome. They have good bagels - but get there early because they will sell out. Their coffee is New England Coffee and it's a hit or miss. Overall, it's not a bad place but don't except phenomenal service if you're not a regular. read more

Based on the reviews, I met a friend here for lunch. We found the atmosphere very unappetizing; the food was served on cheap paper plates with mismatched plastic utensils with no attempt at garnishing the food. a slice of orange, a couple of grapes, etc. The pancakes were greasy and not really edible. Herbal tea, a standard these days, was unavailable. There was no one else in the place the whole time we were there. The staff was not terribly welcoming or friendly. We will not be returning. read more

When we moved to Blackstone Valley we knew that the one of the things we would miss the most would be the presence of a great coffee and bagel spot. Well cry no more, for the Valley Bean hath cometh! Right off of rt16, diagonal from the CVS , is this small corner shop. Parking in front is tight, but go around back and there are a few more spots. VB is warm, clean and full of light and the sweet sweet smell of delicious carbohydrates. There are s few small tables and a counter so that you may sit and enjoy your munchies in-house, but I can imagine that this place fills up quickly. We took our order "to-go": - marbled bagel with sausage egg and cheese - onion bagel with lite veggie cream cheese - medium hazelnut coffee (hot) - medium butternut coffee (iced) == $12 Let me just tell you that everything was deeeeelicious. My onion bagel: toasted perfectly: crisp on the outside and still fluffy and warm on the inside. There are a few things that they're still working out....but the atmosphere, service, flavor, and price are all so wonderful that we don't mind riding the wave until they get sorted. Hoping to see non-styrofoam cup options (that's a deal breaker for me) and a bit more signage (breakfast sandwiches, meat/cheese/cream cheese options, and just pricing in general). I normally go to another coffee shop in a nearby town but I realized how close The Valley Bean was to my house so I decided to stop in and see what they had to offer. The first time I stopped in at TVB, I had decided to order 2 coffees (I love New England Coffee brand) and two bagels. By the time I arrived around 9-930am, there was only 4 different bagel options to choose from left of the plethora they had signs for on display (come early next time!). The bagels were fresh and the veggie cream cheese definitely tasted homemade. I ordered 2 cookies & cream/Oreo iced coffees and they were delicious. The girls working there were nice enough. This is a solid option if you are passing through town or you live locally. I normally park in the front but there is parking in the back of the building with a door to enter from behind. I definitely will be back soon! read more

So I've been hearing about this place from my brother and went the other day. It's definitely a spot for locals it seemed the majority of the staff knew the customers I love that in any restaurant. I got coffee and bagel sandwiches the prices are cheaper then dunkin or honeydew and the food is better It only took a few minutes for sandwiches to be ready. Coffee was fantastic be aware they have like 30 options for flavors I was overwhelmed. Sandwiches were very good my only complaint would be the garlic on the bagel was brunt which gave a very bitter taste to my sandwich. The sandwich my wife got was outstanding so maybe it was just a bad day for the garlic bagels. I would definitely recommend this place I will say it's not good for groups more then 4 people very small inside. read more

So because this place was new and from what I saw the reviews looked decent, I gave it a try. Unfortunately it was a mistake. Unprofessional, overall uncomfortable atmosphere. From what I saw my first time here, employees were a group of loud, rude, immature kids going on loudly about how much they party and drink while their buddy at the bar [who was so loud and obnoxious I would've bet he was still drunk] is flipping off the manager behind her back. I couldn't wait to get out of there and away from that whole scene. read more

Stopped in for coffee and then salad for lunch. The coffee was fine, but I didn't not like the salad. Chicken salad was very sweet. I asked for oil and vinegar for the dressing but they did not have it on hand, so I just got some olive oil. It was rather loud in there with employees having to be told to watch the language. read more

So I tried to give this place another chance since I'm a nice guy and all and every one deserves a second chance. I dont know what it is but the owner just has a horrible attitude, she always looks like she is in a very bad mood. I went to get a coffee this time and no food. When she made my coffee she accidentally spilt it and she swore up a storm in front of young children behind me. Everyone in the coffee shop heard it and was disgusted but her abusive language. I don't understand why people frown on this place? $4.00 coffee? Really! I live a few minute drive from this place and my wife and I love it. We eat there three times a week! Ok, so your food comes out on plastic plates and plastic forks, big deal! Big deal you have to order at counter, than sit and wait for a very short time for food! It really is worth the stop. The valley bean cafe is hands down by far the best breakfast and or lunch cafe i've ever been to. The coffee is freshly brewed with a wide variety of flavors and ad ins. There are superb breakfast sandwiches and bagels. I have an intolerance to gluten and they have wide variety of gluten free bread, bagels, and english muffins. For lunch, there are so many options, it will surprise you. If you get a sandwich, it comes with a side choosing of either mac salad, beans, potato salad, or coleslaw. it also comes with a large pickle and chips. There are also wraps and delicious soup. Owner is unprofessional and very rude. Food and service was terrible. I went in just for an iced coffee and there were a group of kids swearing and hanging out behind the counter. The owner ( from what I could guess) was loud, extremely rude and actually quite trashy. I was very uncomfortable when they started saying things about getting drunk and being drunk at work.
