It was flavorless and had a smell to it. My 5 year old pointed the smell out to me. The wrap was a little different to me. It was just okay. The chicken didn't taste fresh - like packaged chicken. It had chic peas inside of it, which was different. Sweet potato fries were great. You're probably wondering why I gave them 5 stars. While sitting down, a gentleman came over and asked how our lunch was. I was honest with him for feedback knowing it was there second day. He offered to make it over. I declined. He then offered to give us treats (cookies/brownies), I then again declined and this time he insisted. He left our table and gave us some goodies to go. Then came for lunch. Had a chunky monkey smoothie - it was a little watery in the middle but still delicious. The cranberry walnut chicken salad on sourdough was exactly what I was craving. And that sourdough - so good! The place itself is really cute and they sell some local items. There's a blind date with a book section and they sell Hoppy Pop (which is incredible). Everyone was super nice and friendly.

The food and service are always great. The prices are about average for a locally owned shop. The pastries and treats are always cooked perfectly and just the right amount of sweet. They also typically have at least one gluten free option. Their rotating coffee flavor menu is always fun and pairs well with different seasons/holidays. I have tried their sandwiches, quiche and salads too which were all made really well. My favorite over the summer was the mushroom quiche and the mom's pasta salad.

It is decorated beautifully in a silver, gold and pink motif. Very girly but don't let that keep you away. The coffee is delicious. They took time finding the right brew for them. It's an organic Colombian coffee and my friend said it was the best she has ever had. A downfall for me is that you are charged additional for flavors and flavors we didn't know that so we racked up an additional $5 for that. They specialize in flights which is fun. You can get waffles, pancakes, French toast or eggs. In any combination of 3 for only $15. That includes 1 topping on each item. I had the cinnamon roll waffle and it was amazing. 10/10 worth going just for that. I got the egg flight and had the cook choose my flight. I had an onion omelette, scrambled eggs with tomato and over medium eggs. Everything was good. I got a side of bacon and sausage. The bacon was perfect. The sausage was fine. My friend got an omelette with spinach,feta, cheddar and jalapeño. It was served with toast and home fries. The omelette was great and the home fries are the best around. The toast was a little over done but who cares. I'm sure they would have remade it if asked. She also tried the red velvet waffle with cream cheese as a topping. The waffle was perfect but the scoop of plain cream cheese was a little off putting. I think a little cream cheese frosting would have gone better. But it was eaten up. Their baked goods and other foods are incredible as well -- I really recommend the quiche! It's a super cute atmosphere, and there's tons of seating. It's a good place to meet friends and hang out, have an afternoon date, or study/work from. Not many places can say all 3, but this place definitely can!!
