Strawberries & Nutella French Toast (from the Specials)
Lizzie R.

I've never had a bad meal here but the last time I've been was pre-COVID. This morning we went around 9am and were seated right away. They had a booster seat or high chair available for my daughter but it looked like they might only have one of each. They have crayons for the kiddos but I don't see a kid's menu which was fine. We probably would have ordered off the adult menu anyway. Food came out fast, as always. I got the strawberry Nutella French toast which was delicious. Though, I could have done without the strawberries but it worked out because my daughter loved eating them. I normally would order a side of bacon with this but I knew my daughter wouldn't eat all of hers so I was able to skip that. My daughter got the one egg (scrambled), choice of meat (bacon- 4 pieces) , toast (white & buttered), and home fries. My husband got the eggs with corned beef hash. Everything was good & hot. It's simple food done well (consistently). The restaurant is small and seating is first come, first serve but there is a counter where you can grab seats, if you don't need a table. Everything takes longer with a toddler but normally we'd be in & out pretty quick. There's a good amount of regulars which adds to a warm atmosphere of everyone knowing everyone else. The servers are all friendly, too. It's clear not much has changed since we last went (and that's a good thing!)

This place is absolutely incredible. Great atmosphere and decorated adorably. The service was both attentive and friendly! The food was hot, fresh, and fast! A must try!

Popeye omelette with spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and cheese

First time trying out this place. Cute, country atmosphere. Friendly staff. We had a short wait, but they were moving food out and cleaning tables as quickly as they could. The menu had a good variety of breakfast favorites and a few seasonal specials. Big portions. Fair prices. I ordered the Popeye omelette (spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and cheese). YUM! Honestly, one of the best omelettes that I have ever had. I ordered a few things to "sample" the menu. The corned beef hash had nice chunks of corned beef, but it was a bit too salty for me. The pancakes were HUGE and fluffy with just enough sweetness that syrup was not necessary. My husband got the blueberry and it was loaded. I got the strawberries and cream, and it was perfect, with tons of strawberries. I will definitely go back. The service was excellent, the food was on point, and it's a charming little place to sit and enjoy a good breakfast.

Our visit here last week lived up to our expectations. Their reputation was well known to us from earlier reviews and from family and friends. Our server was friendly and did check on us a few times, but seemed to disappear for long stretches. Mrs B had bacon and eggs while I enjoyed the Hunga Mian Special. There was plenty of food on the plates, needed a second plate for the pancakes. My only complaint would be the eggs. What was supposed to be scrambled eggs were way too loose. They were more like sunny side up. Good tasting but not what I wanted. Since I didn't see my server, I ate what was given to me so I could enjoy the entire meal while it was still hot. I would not hesitate to return if the opportunity presents itself.

That was the best breakfast I've had in a while. Wish I could eat there every day. I even ate the potatoes and I never eat the potatoes.

Nice place. Good food and clean. Friendly staff. What we had was good but unremarkable. Certainly no complaints. We might come back again.

Visiting in the area from RI. Took the dog hiking in Purgatory Chasm and we were looking for a…read moreplace to have lunch where we might be able to have the dog. Stumbled on MSK and we will be making a point of returning. They welcomed us on the back patio with the dog (even brought her a bowl of water). Menu was relatively small, but the fresh and delicious food made up for it. Soup of the day when we visited was NE Clam chowder which was really good and full of clams. I had a chicken pot pie; fresh, homemade and very good. Tuesdays are taco days and we got a chicken tacos as well, which were solid! Staff were great (and funny). Prices were super reasonable, but we left a bit extra on the tip especially after finding out they operate as a non-profit and raise funds for the town Xmas Parade. Only open during the day, but highly recommend if in the area.

I was in for the adventure!!! She contacted them ahead of time to get more details (they didn't have a Yelp page yet) and they advised to park across the street at the package store (was it a package store? I think it used to be Lynch's drugstore years ago? I'm not positive anymore). We parked and crossed the street. We weren't quite sure where to go and stopped at the front screen door to ask. They told us to follow around the side of the building to the back. We stepped into their back patio and were quickly in a relaxed atmosphere. The patio was set up beautifully with plenty of tables, umbrellas and lots and lots of plants!!! They came out and helped us pick a nice shaded spot to enjoy our meal. We were offered menus and the woman who seems to be the originator of this 'idea' (her name is fittingly Holly), sat down with us and told us how this venture is all run by volunteers and all the money raised goes towards funding the town of Uxbridge's annual Christmas Parade. She also explained to us (along with her marine biologist daughter) how they are trying to be as environmentally conscious as they can be. All the paper products were recyclable as well as the disposable eating utensils. They also made an extra effort to get canned water as to cut back on plastic. My friend got the chicken pot pie and I got the pastrami sandwich. We were quite pleased with our selections. They have a regular everyday menu and specials everyday. They have limited hours of Tuesday thru Friday from 11-3 pm. Go check them out, you'll enjoy a delicious meal, help a great cause and get to relax on their cute patio!!

I will have to honestly say I was kind of disappointed with the restaurant. The service was good…read more the waitress we had was excellent very on top of things and stuff. I had ordered the hotdog for lunch. Don't know what my sides were, but I ended up the hotdog came. I asked that it to be very well done and when they came, the bottom, half was not well cooked and the top was kind of well done I eventually sent them back only to find out when they finally did come back to me that they end up being going into a fryolater. I don't care what they say. They were quite greasy, even though they were well cooked so I knew that they didn't throw them back on the grill. It wasn't possible. My husband said that his meal was OK and that's me. It matters. I didn't think they were very on top of things like I missed out on playing a keno game while I was waiting in line and it ended up having all of my numbers in it so it says I lost something like $1000 but maybe even less of a happy I really feel the bartending service there definitely use a more friendly approach, but could also take a use somewhat more on top of things. I waited for about three more minutes. The bartender kept looking at me. She never once came over she only after a secondary bartender came on did she then that bartender came over and asked to help me I did. But I definitely was gonna take and use it as a stop on my bike trip. I ride a motorcycle with a group and I was gonna suggest that we go there for dinner. Really feel like it wouldn't be a positive upbeat experience for us and I would hate to have that happen. Anyone else. I think they just need some more experience in them thing on top of things before they do too much. But the waitresses were very good.
