He responded with anger and said "do I have a frickin choice?" I told him I would load it up myself and he didn't have to worry about it. It was 3:30pm, not 3:55 right before close or something. When I was backing my truck up I could see him angrily ranting to his coworker. When I got out he just said "open the back of your truck...." Choosing to order me around instead of interact with me like a costumer. It took less than 5 minutes for me and the two workers to load the blocks. The unprovoked rudeness has made sure I'll never spend another dollar at Hardware Hawaii. Unless you enjoy being treated badly, spend your money at Home Depot.

Sadly I came at a time that it wasn't on the shelf so he offered to special order the part for me. When it arrived, Tyler gave me a courtesy call to come in and pick it up. When I arrived, Roy was the helpful associate. I paid for the part, which was very reasonable!! Then I asked for help to remove the broken head and install the new one. Today it was a simple just some acetone as I wanted to wipe off paint and the basic store bought stuff just won't do it and as small as this shop seems to be they do have it all and was very easy to find than the larger ones as it literally took me a minute to find it and a minute to reach to the register without a wait and was on my way faster than taking the needed pics to show off this great Kailua location. If needed staff is very easy to find here but as I knew exactly what I wanted it was okay and parking in the back is spacious with short walks to the automatic doors is just nice to have a quick spot to find exactly what you need without being lost as I finished my project so easily. This site eventually became the City Mill location we know today. For residents in the immediate neighborhoods, this City Mill has a magnet draw for your hardware needs. They have decent sales and the staff is friendly and usually pretty knowledgable. They have a good selection of items for your hardware needs whether it be paint, tools, bathroom or kitchen fixtures, etc. They have a decent amount of parking, but it can get challenging at times. If in the Kaimuki area, definitely a place to check out for tour hardware needs.
