My experience at this location was beyond frustrating. I contacted the store by phone to confirm that I'd be able to open a P.O. Box. On the first occasion I called to confirm that the store provided P.O. boxes & to verify what was required. There was no mention that being able to open a P.O. Box would depend on which staff was working. When I arrived at the store & waited my turn for 15 minutes the clerk said he could not do it because he was alone. I pointed out that there was no one in the store. He still refused. On the next occasion, I called & was told that I've have to come the next day when the manager was there! read more

Package was not delivered as specified, driver did not leave it where he said he did, I had proof of that but manager did not care and did not understand what actually happened, basically lied to UPS HQ about it. Agree with other reviews that these franchises don't care about customer service. I may have to sue in small claims court to get a refund. read more

AVOID. The people who work at this location are extremely lazy. I came in today and asked the man taking care of me if he could pack up a shipment for me (a service that is clearly listed on their website as something they offer at this location). After laughing in my face about it and getting a good chuckle with his colleague, he expressed hesitancy to even do it for me. I tried to convince him to do it to no avail. It thought to myself - I'm the customer. Should I really need to convince or beg an employee to perform a service for me? Isn't asking enough? I also inquired as to the price of such a service. I asked three times and was ignored each time. Finally, agreeing to do at least SOME work, he printed a shipping label for me. I asked him to please put the shipping label over the existing label on the box so that it would get to the right place. Rather than doing so, he said something along the lines of "You should leave now." Now I have no idea whether my package will get to the right place, nor whether the contents will arrive undamaged since he refused to pack the box properly. The workers here really need to just do what the customer asks and stop being so lazy/unprofessional. It's customer service 101. read more

I had signed up for a mailbox last year because it was critically important for me to be able receive medication that was to be mailed while I was out of the country. Recurving the medication at my actual home address wasn't an option. I signed up with Brian over the phone, and I was able to send him the required documents via email which was also really important, because I wasn't able to do this in person. Last June came around, and I was able to pick-up my meds without a hitch. Now it's November and I'm planning on doing the same thing again. There was a slight hickup because I never actually cancelled in June. William was able to get in contact with Brian and thy found a solution. I was relieved to find out that they were able to get everything straightened out. I'm especially grateful that I could resume my mailbox service, and continue to have my medication mailed for the next six months! I appreciate it guys! read more

I have done business in this store for 25 years and have been mostly satisfied. The last two times I was there, I was poorly treated by the same employee. The first time he refused to help because he said the company gave me "an old fashioned" return form and I need to come back the next day. He was not apologetic. The next day another employee dealt with it without a problem. Yesterday, I stopped by to return a package, he lectured me extensively about how printing out the return code was bad for the planet, that I must not care about the earth or the endangered species and did so while rolling his eyes and shaking his head. I was so shocked by the rudeness and inappropriateness of this interaction that I did not say anything. After 2 interactions like this with this guy, I hope the company will recognize his impact on their customer service. I will certainly not be using this location ever again. read more

I recently dropped off a return package to this location.  A week later, there was no tracking updates.  Package was not scanned.  No proof could be provided by the local franchise manager, who was uncharacteristically unhelpful and rude, and he simply said "we are not UPS, call UPS."  Not a great image for someone whose business operates as a UPS Store.   There is no way to determine if the package ever left the store and UPS dragging its feet on a claim, instructing me to go back to the store.  Just note that UPS Stores are franchises and could not give two flying F's about whether your package actually arrives. read more

Writing this review for a couple of reasons: 1) I went in there last week to do a lot of copying, sending stuff and getting about 400 docs notarized and the service was good enough. 2) The previous reviewer does seem to have had a rough experience - but the guy with the funny accent who owns the place is South African - not British. He was actually quite pleasant as I had a bunch of docs to notarize and he had twisted his wrist but was still able to mash that embossing stamp together about a dozen times. Not that I have any problem with people being unhappy with the Brits or anything. read more

So, I have been going to this UPS store on and off for about 9+ years now but after today I will no longer set foot in that store. The manager, Brian, is a sweetheart and has been there forever so he gets 5 stars, but the owner, a British guy whose name I can't think of, is absolutely certifiably bat shit crazy. Seriously, I think he needs meds. I guess the tip off should have been the day I was standing in line behind this old lady who complained when he told her how much the copy prices were. She was sort of annoying, but the manager yelled at her and told her if she didn't like it, to take her business elsewhere. I was kind of shocked because the situation could have been resolved with a simple "Sorry, m'am, that's just what are prices are" but he took it to a totally different level and was very aggressive and hostile. Anyway, I went in there for the second time today after making some copies earlier to ask how much it would cost to mail some documents. I wanted to find out how much it would cost to ship it via USPS (which they do for a ridiculously jacked up fee), or via UPS letter. When I asked Mr. Crazypants how much it would cost, he looked at me and said, "I don't know, do you think I'm a magician?" I kind of looked at him confusedly because I thought maybe he was joking, and asked again, "I'm trying to find out how much it would cost to mail this document Priority mail." Brian piped in and said "$8.95" and then I asked how much it would cost to ship it via UPS. The manager said, in a very condescending voice, "I do not know." I asked if he could find out, and when he gave me some sort of reply saying how should he know, I asked in exasperation "Don't you work here?!?" I mean, seriously, what is wrong with this guy?!? You'd think I was asking a difficult question. Finally he said he could look up the prices on the computer (don't you think if you work there day in and day out you'd have that kind of stuff memorized?) and I said, "Please do." Meanwhile, my poor baby is fussing and about to have a meltdown after waiting for this idiot to tell me this basic information, and after much frustration I decided to leave. Why should they get my business? If you are smart, or at least don't care to be treated like crap for no apparent reason, you'll stay away from this place! read more

This place is my fax machine. Back in the 1900s there was a technology called fax machines that have pretty much disappeared from American homes with the advent of email. Still, some archaic institutions insist on receiving these "faxes" and thus the Lord saw fit to create this UPS location so that I might sendeth things that I could very well scan and email from my landline-less home. I never wait in line long because they seem decently staffed. I'm not gonna say that this place is Cheers and they treat me like Norm, but I get a nice "Hey, how's it going" when I go in. They don't seem to hate their jobs, unlike the folks at another unnamed location. I heard a rumor that they actually do more than just faxes here...something about shipping packages. I gave their "parcel service" a try when selling something on Amazon and lo and behold they knocked that one out of the park too. The only thing that could make this place better is if they had some kind of delivery service to bring stuff to your door. read more

I felt compelled to write a review after having about my 10th visit there show superb customer service. All the staff members that have helped me at this store have been extremely friendly, helpful, and have gone out of their way to answer all of my neurotic questions and make sure everything shipped properly and in the way I requested. In particular, I'd also like to address the South African manager that a previous customer mentioned. This man has been a perfect gentleman every time I have come. He is incredibly friendly, goes out of his way to check and make sure all your needs are taken care of, and best of all, the guy has a wonderful and quirky sense of humor, which for me served to only increase my opinion of this particular UPS. He's a kind and helpful person, and I have no idea how anyone could possibly complain about the guy. Normally I wouldn't write a review about one branch of a chain location, but this particular UPS has been so helpful to me in all my visits, I felt they deserve the praise that they are due. read more

First offi give 10000 stars to miles, he is a doll and a pleasure to work with. However there is a female there that really upset me. I came in with 3 items to ship out and she let me know that she can help me to pack and ship. I brought it to her attention that it was an international shipment and I couldn't afford for it to be packed by the center, she told me "oh don't worry" So I thought she was not going to charge me. However she did. $95.00 for shipping (which is fine) and a whopping $42.00 for packing! When she told me this I was shocked and I told her she led me on.. She wasn't having it. This UPS Store location is one of the best I've been to. They are heavily staffed every time I've visited and usually rather busy, but I've always been helped in a timely manner. Even when I asked if I had a package when I didn't even have a slip in my P.O. Box, they still took the time to look through the plethora of packages huge and small in their very tiny space to see if mine had arrived. When I told them I had to run to put more money in my meter, they kindly told me there was a convenient lot in the back that I could park in. Apart from that, I even asked if I could park there while I ran across the street to buy coffee from Starbucks and they said they didn't mind. (Note: While it was nice of them to give me permission, I honestly wouldn't recommend doing that since I don't think they have any say in the parking lot enforcement. I do not want anyone getting in trouble on my account;{ I think it's sad that a store's rating can be easily diminished just by one person's one experience on one day out of the thousands and thousands of days that these people work. I think people should try and resist from giving a store one star unless they've had multiple negative experiences at the location, not just one. We are all human and make mistakes and for the entire store's business to suffer from a rating that has been drastically affected by that one star rating is just criminal. read more

Frustrating experience .... I sent my 17 year old son to mail his duffel bag to camp for the summer, and what a fiasco. He priced it online and it was less expensive than FedEx, and since we've used UPS for years to do this, it seemed a no brainer. Well, way to take advantage of a 17 year old. First, they quoted more than online. Maybe his fault... second, and worse, they boxed it up, and told him it it had to be, at a cost of 35 for the box and $15 for packing it. Again, we've done this every year with UPS for the past 8 years both ways for two kids, and never has this been a requirement. When he protested, they said they had already boxed it and printed the label so he would have to pay for the box and the packing charge. So we're paying $100 for what has always cost us $50, and are left with a really ugly impression of this UPS store. Inconvenient, staff that is rude and what looks like to me, scammy. Took two trips to get it right. Make sure you check your receipt for delivery time and date-After specifically asking for next day delivery I get home to see a second day delivery. I call to rectify and they say they can get it their by the next morning- great. However the receipt shows end of day! Love their location but it takes patience to work with them. read more

The UPS Store employee was rude and dismissive when I brought in a package shipped via UPS to my address, but the recipient was someone who has never lived at my house. Clearly, this was not UPS's fault, and I thought the UPS Store could make sure the package was returned to the sender. To my surprise, the employee told me "if you leave it (the package) here, we will just deliver it to your address again." When I asked why they couldn't return it to the sender, he told me "we're not UPS, we are the UPS Store." When I asked what I could do other than throw the package away, he told me to try to find a UPS driver to take the package. Of course, UPS drivers make deliveries to the UPS Store every day. The employee did not, however, offer to give the package to the next UPS driver who came to the store. Perhaps because the store could not make a profit by doing so, he found it easier to tell me to try to find a random UPS truck and flag down the driver. I should add that there were no customers in the store, so my request did not disrupt business. read more
