This location was taken over by new ownership a couple months ago, and they renovated the store. It went from being dreary and difficult to use to being a joy. They now accept USPS packages (and will scan it in for you, meaning insurance/liability kicks in, as opposed to how it worked previously, where you just had to pray the USPS man would be willing to take the packages when he swung by the store). Store is clean, renovated, has good supplies, but most importantly, the staff are incredibly friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. If I could select 0 stars I would. Please save yourself the trouble and never choose this as your ups store to sort any business with. I've used ups multiple times for services, but never an experience like this. I walked in to pick up my package a day after it was delivered. I was told I'd have 7 days to pick it up on my receipt. When I tried to pick it up the "owner" tried to charge me $5 simply because it was there for 1 day. He proceeded to tell me he can do whatever he wants because he is the owner and doesn't care what my receipt says. He refused to hand over my package and continued to argue with me. His wife also had a dog running around freely with no leash or collar, which made a customer feel uncomfortable saying he was afraid of it. Very inconsiderate and rude with 0 customer service skills. When I called the company they said they had never heard of anything like this. Clearly the owner was on a power trip and chose to make this up on his own. read more

He was on the phone, frustrated with whoever he was talking to and motions me with his hands to do whatever but I didn't understand. He puts the phone down, and starts talking to me very rudely that my label was for the regular mail place and repeats over and over "you can leave it but I can't take responsibility" what! Ok. I ordered an item from an online retailer that offers the choice to "collect your order from a UPS Access Point™ near you." This store is a program participant, according to the retailer, so I took them up on the option. Eventually UPS notified me that the package had been delivered at the front desk of the store. Three business days later, I stopped by to pick it up. The employee who initially assisted me seemed unsure what to do. Eventually she asked the owner for help. He took a cursory look around and returned to the counter to let me know he didn't have my package. Instead, he suggested, I was at the wrong location. I showed him the UPS delivery confirmation email and verified that the address on it was indeed the address of his store. He then suggested the package had gone to my home instead. Nope, I replied, it hadn't--and UPS thinks it's here, so could you please look again? The owner entered the tracking number at his terminal, then studied the screen for a moment. I believe he saw exactly what I was able to see from my home computer, namely UPS' proof of delivery. This includes the tracking number; date, time, and location of delivery; and ID verification of the person who took delivery. But after staring at the screen for a bit, he chose instead to tell me that what he saw didn't confirm anything one way or the other, and advised me to take it up with UPS directly. When I hesitated, he appeared to change his mind and asked me whether the shipment would have arrived in a box or envelope. How the hell would I know? I guessed it might be an envelope. After checking a pile against a wall (the store was a mess), he produced the package and returned to the counter. "That will be five dollars," he announced. I was surprised. There had been no indication from the retailer that this shipping option involved a fee on delivery, I told him. Raising his voice, he demanded to know why I'd sent my package to his store. I explained the retailer's UPS Store program and said I thought I was doing the right thing. He shouted that he paid thousands in rent each month, my package took up space, and he was insulted that I expected him to house my package for free. This caught me so off guard that I began to explain myself and even apologized for offending him before I realized what he was doing. I wondered aloud, "Why am I apologizing?" The man had done everything in his power to get me to leave without my package, including lying to me about the proof of delivery. Only when that failed did he make a sincere effort to look for my property. When he eventually produced it, instead of apologizing for wasting my time, he extorted five dollars from me before releasing the package. At the same time, he managed to turn the situation around, put me on the defensive, and cast himself as the victim in this whole scenario. (Well played, sir.) As soon as I produced my credit card, his attitude completely changed. He dropped the aggressive demeanor. Suddenly he was polite and soft-spoken. He had his five dollars--all was right again in his world. read more

I came in here to use the computer and print a couple of documents. I was surprised to learn about how expensive this place really is. Just to turn on the computer was $1.60, and then it cost me ,$.25 per minute after that. I needed to print out three back and White pages and those were $.30 each. These prices are double of what it would cost at the other popular office store. The two employees behind the counter were friendly and the gentleman even helped me to get set up on the computer. The single computer that thy allow Customers to use appeared to be fast as lightening. Apart from that, the store was clean and comfortable. I think what you are paying for here is the location. read more

I had an incredibly unnerving experience at this store yesterday. I wish I had read the other negative reviews about it before going there. As a new Amazon Prime user, I was genuinely confused about the return process when the store owner (she identified herself as such) lost her patience with me. She started literally screaming at me and said she had explained the process to me innumerable times. The problem was that each time she explained she was so aggressive and loud that I got even more flustered and confused. A true professional would have been patient allowing for follow-up questions. The store was slow, almost no one there so it was not like I was holding up the line or such. But she was rude and actually screaming loudly. I have NEVER encountered such unprofessional behavior from any business ever before.  Not only, did I feel utterly disrespected, I actually felt afraid of her. The difference between this lady's rudeness and Amazon was unbelievable!  The truly professional customer service person at Amazon calmly explained the entire process which I understood in a minute and helped me do my returns elsewhere. Absolutely no concept of customer service at this UPS store. I will never ever recommend this place. Do yourself a favor if you can avoid this place, do so. read more

We went to this location by accident. We needed something notarized and sent and had earlier called a UPS store on Nutley st. who said they notarize until 6:30 pm. So we went to this location just thinking because it was in Vienna that it was the other one we had called. They swiftly informed us that they only notarize between 10:00 am and 3:00. It was 6:00 so we were worried we would not make it to Nutley rd. UPS before 6:30 pm which is how late the other location will notarize. But seeing our dilemma they did it for us, because they are authorized to notoraize. We bought an envelope and they took the package which safely arrived the following day for a closing. Glad they decided to accommodate us. read more

Sam and Pari run a very nice business. I've been here about 4 times now to handle lamination and printing needs for my business. Their print services are on par with Staples and the customer service far exceeds anything Staples has to offer. Pricing is comepetetive, but the store exterior is non-descript and easy to miss. I have lived in Vienna for 2 years now and have been in this store 6 to 8 times and the staff, who include the owner and his poorly trained, adult daughter always make me feel like I'm bothering them, even though I'm bringing them business. It doesn't matter if I'm shipping a package or making a copy, they seem put out to help me and other customers as well. My biggest issue with this store is when I bring in Amazon items I'm returning, which have to be packaged by the UPS store. The staff seems particularly perturbed that they have to take their time to scan my items and print me a receipt. I will not go into this store again ever! It's a shame that the only UPS store in Vienna has such poor customer service but I will travel to the one at Pan Am or Oakton from now on. read more

The staff is unfriendly and you get the feeling that the manager is nickel and diming you. All he kept mentioning to us and to other customers is how much every single thing is costing him and how he cannot be more helpful. We came to make copies thinking it was self service like in other places. He wasn't pleased and told us it's by appointment. Eventually he let us use the copier but kept stopping by every minute telling us to be careful with the machine and that it costs him to repair it. Advice: as a business owner I understand you have expenses, but if you keep mentioning to customers how much things are costing you and give them the feeling that you're all about tracking money, this is bad customer service. read more
