    We had a great experience renting a small meeting space from Carr. They were gracious, helpful, and…read moreeverything went off without a hitch. The only downside for me is that to get any F&B, you can't bring it yourself, which would be easy to do with all of Town Centre rolling at your feet. Instead (in our case, the two places we were getting snack-type food from were less than a block away, and we had to walk by them on our way to Carr from the Hyatt), they insist on arranging it, and mark it up.

Won't forward or even hold your mail after you leave, will not fwd calls from your desk phone for any period of time, increases every renewal...regardless of what is going on in the market. If you need a little extra time to sort out with your HQ...'sure, we'll do a one month extension, at a 20% increase"...ridiculous. Very inflexible and over priced for what one gets. Was there almost 5 years...same treatment if I was there one month. Don't forget the arbitrary $X/sq foot or fixed charge when you move out to get office ready for next tenant. This fee is charged regardless of whether there was ANY damage (wall scratches, pushpin holes, tape on walls, etc.) Moved to Make Offices 2 blocks away. Less than half the price, friendly staff, open and bright work areas. Variety of spaces to use (tables, booths, offices, etc.) MakeOffices is also evolved and has AirPlay in every conference room, so you can throw your presentation up there w/o cables, etc. Carr offered more services, but not worth more than double. Once you're out at Carr, they make little to no effort to get you back or do anything to encourage a positive review. Regus and Carr are similar to taxis...not evolving with the market or users' needs...MakeOffices & WeWork...way of the future if Carr keeps treating customers this way.

During the sales process, Gretchen was highly responsive and assured me that she would be available throughout my six-month contract if I ever needed assistance. Unfortunately, that level of responsiveness disappeared the moment I became a client. Just six weeks into my contract at Spaces Reston Metro Plaza, I was informed that the entire location was shutting down and that I had only one week's notice to vacate. It is extremely difficult to believe that management had no knowledge of the closure when they were actively signing new members to six-month agreements. The entire experience was a bait-and-switch. The move-out process was even worse. Kaitlyn Whitaker became my primary point of contact, and despite an email chain that stretched well over twenty messages, she repeatedly failed to answer basic questions. Kaitlyn tried to randomly assign me to an office space that I had never seen before and after asking to tour other Spaces, repeatedly told me there was little to no space in any other building. Her responses were often vague, incomplete, or completely unrelated to what I had asked. In one particularly frustrating exchange, Kaitlyn replied that she would "love to provide the requested information" but did not have access to her computer at that moment. Kaitlyn never the sent the information and I was forced to follow up multiple times without receiving meaningful answers. Communication problems extended beyond email. Kaitlyn assured me that she could arrange tours at other Spaces locations. After I requested a tour days in advance and received confirmation of the date and time, I arrived to find that the staff had no idea I was coming. It was a complete waste of time and demonstrated a shocking lack of coordination. After transferring to Spaces at The Boro, it took more than three weeks for Kaitlyn to transfer my account to their system. During that time, I had no key fob, meaning I could not access the building on weekends, and I had no office key, requiring someone else to let me in every time I arrived. This problem was only resolved after my parents threatened to sue. And all the while, they expected their monthly rent to be payed. For a company that markets itself as a professional workspace solution, this level of disorganization is unacceptable. I joined Spaces because I expected convenience, professionalism, and reliability. Instead, I experienced poor communication, broken commitments, administrative chaos, and unnecessary stress. I would not recommend this location--or this company--to anyone.

We terminated our lease at the end of April and we requested our security deposit be refunded. It took several weeks working with numerous groups within Regis to figure out how to access the portal to make that request. Once I submit the request, I was told it would take four weeks, which seemed ridiculous. It's now been six weeks and we still haven't received our deposit. We keep being told it's a priority for their finance team, but how difficult can it be to issue a wire transfer? They are holding our money hostage.

    I made the mistake of ignoring the negative reviews. My reason for signing on was because I needed…read morean office presence in the downtown Reston location. The office space itself is decent, but that's where things end. There's a pervasive problem with customer service that has resulted in too many misunderstandings and mistakes to mention here. Most of their customer-facing employees seem to be phoning it in -- apathetic at best and sometimes outrightly rude, which is especially awful when you have clients coming to visit. I've heard from reliable sources that their employee compensation sucks, which probably explains why they all walk around with long faces. :( I'm not hating on these poor employees; just asking for acceptable customer service. Btw, Regus has a BBB rating of "F". Check it out. They recently filed for bankruptcy in multiple locations around the country, which also says something about their operations. Do a Google search for "Regus sucks" to learn more about what other customers are saying. There's obviously something very wrong with this company. If you make the mistake of signing on, remember this post when the trouble starts.

She helped me optimize the layout of our pool renovation which included an expansion of the decking, added fencing, & screened in porch. She's helped with my office layout, master bedroom closet, and kitchen layout. In all of these scenarios, she brings insight that I haven't found anyone else brings. She cares about the functionality of the space as well as the esthetics. I will continue to use her again and again as projects arise. Working with her during my home renovation was incredible - she had such a great way of envisioning our space and suggesting things that I never would have thought of on my own. Every idea she suggested was spot on, practical and very clever, and perfectly fit how we actually live. She came up with the idea of turning an inaccessible corner of our kitchen into a cozy pet food nook in the mudroom, which was a great use of what would otherwise be wasted space. She also suggested converting our old coat closet into a pantry when we expanded the kitchen, and it's been a game-changer. She encouraged me to rethink the original plans for stove and microwave placements, which was 100% the right call. All those considerations and smart suggestions have made such a huge difference in how our home feels and functions. Now that everything's done, I can honestly say this renovation exceeded all of my expectations. The kitchen, especially. It's beautiful, it flows perfectly, and it just works. C.Lee really listened, and her ideas helped make the whole house feel more intentional and comfortable. I promise, if you are doing a major renovation, using her "plan review" services will pay off tenfold. Highly recommend!
