Had I been told about the charge during my initial visit, I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether to proceed. Instead, I was given inaccurate information and only learned of the fee after the service had already been performed. The issue is not the $10 itself, but the lack of clear and consistent communication. Customers should be able to rely on the information provided by staff, especially regarding pricing. Being quoted one price--or in this case, no charge at all--and then being charged afterward creates confusion and undermines trust.

I had a bad experience at the Fedex at University Mall, so I was not going there again. A young girl named Kate helped me with my shipment. She reassured me over and over again that my shipment would be in good hands. She explained to me customs, taxes/duties, and pretty much everything that comes along with international shipping. She was also able to get me a quote for a package that I was sending to another country. If that's not enough, she went the extra mile to call UPS Corporate and make sure that the goods that I was sending were okay to send even though I wasn't ready to ship my second package out yet. WOW. My package arrived on time without any issues. This store is conveniently located on GMU's campus. Very convenient for me since I'm a student and don't have a car on campus.
