worst place! delivered my package 7 days ago exactly, and it's still not been scanned by usps, I called twice... before the weekend to ask when does usps pick up packages... she informed me twice a day, I let the weekend past now it's a week later I called today to ask she immediately said" this is not usps, you need to call usps" and then just hung up! yet THIS is where I dropped my package off to be picked up, apparently usps never recieved my package or I wouldn't be calling!!! I deleted my previous review because I didn't want to spread negativity but these positive reviews are obviously fake with people who have never posted. I keep coming back to this location because I just need a place to drop off my packages. Recently the owners must've stopped working and handed this shop over to their daughter or other relative and it's actually gotten worse (I didn't think it was possible). She comes in whenever she wants even though they post their hours. Sometimes she'll put a tiny post it note on the door "be right back". The few times I've been desperate enough to return, people are waiting in their cars or waiting at the door (well past opening time!). I called to make sure someone was there this time, and they don't even pick up their phones ("your call is important to us please leave a message"???). If you have time, go to the other UPS stores in the area or FedEx. I try to avoid this place like the plague. If you have to go here - get a receipt!!! They've lost my packages. Their shipping prices are ridiculous. Customer service is awful. Unreliable and unpredictable hours. Im not even sure this is a legitimate business? We have concerns about the honesty of the proprietor. We were charged 3 times (about $100) more than the amount that FedEx estimated for a letter envelope sent Express Saver. We didn't know this at the time and were in a hurry to send an urgent document (a single sheet of paper). We returned to the store and pointed out the significant difference between the FedEx estimate and what we were charged at the store for sending a simple FedEx letter. The owner refused to show us her screen with the actual estimate for the shipping or the actual invoice for the shipment from FedEx. We presented her with a print out of the FedEx estimate but she could not explain the $100 difference between the FedEx estimate and the amount that she charged us. She eventually accepted fault and said we had not been charged the right amount but said she would not refund us the overcharge. We greatly regret going to this business with our shipping needs. read more

They need to control their employees. I called to check if my package was there, the older Woman by the name "jaine" hung up the phone on me when I asked to please verify if my packet was at the location. Over the phone she refused to look, said she was not going to do that, if online it said it was there then it was. She then proceeded to hang up, when I called back she did not pick up. I understand we are all busy and how being in customer service can be, however I was not rude, I asked politely and tried to explain that I was told it was going to be delivered today that's the reason why I wanted to make sure it was at the location in case it was shipped. I don't know who manages this place, I called UPS and they said it's a 3rd party company. First, to post a review I have to give them 1 star? I do this under protest. Having not received any email tracking info, I went back to the Mail Center. She said the pkg was delivered on "date" and for me to go to the UPS website to see the signature that I asked and paid for. The website only shows "left at residence" with the last name of the receiver. There is no signature! This is what I paid for? Did the driver just leave it at the residence? There is invaluable items of family history (purple heart, military papers, old photos) in that box that cannot be replaced. I've been on FedEx website, without help, finally got a phone number to contact them. Now it's a claim. FEx didn't show an email address for me from the start. So much for good service NOT! If it was possible to give a negative star - this is the business which deserves it! The place is expensive and if your package is lost or arrive damaged - you will not get any assistance from the owner in how to deal with the situation. I had an unfortunate experience . The owner was not helpful, she was rude , unresponsive to the phone calls , ignored my emails and lied about not receiving any communication from UPS ( UPS confirmed sending her forms and letters needed to be completed). My package was insured, she collected the fee, but when it was time to deal with the damaged item, not only I was on my own - she didn't even do her part! UPS left a package here for me to pick up that required a signature. I checked the store hours and it said they were open 9am to 7:30pm, so I showed up at 8:55am, as the package contained parts needed for a job and it was therefore important for me to pick up this package as soon as possible. At 9:15am the store was still closed, with no sign of any employees. I inquired at the adjacent business to see if they knew anything about the store hours. The woman there told me that the woman who owns this Mail Center was very unreliable and only shows up when she wants to, and NEVER before 10:00am. She was very insistent on that last part, saying it would be a waste of time to ever show up before 10:00am. As of this moment, it is 9:26am, and still no employee has shown up to open the store. Absolutely ridiculous. If you can not reliably open your store before 10am, then you should change your operating hours to reflect this. Terrible, just absolutely terrible. read more

There's 2 ppl who work here: 1 man, 1 lady. The man is cool & helpful. The lady is a bitch. I've never seen her smile and she's never made eye contact despite the number of times I've been there. The prices are sky high and they charge about 10 cents more/stamp. Is that even legal? Today was likely the icing on the cake though. I mailed 3 keys in an envelope. I went to have it weighed so I could know the postage. She charged me $5.45 because "it's a package, not a letter". I don't work for the PO, but I ain't no fool. Wudeva u can fit in the damn envelop can be mailed and u just get charged by the weight. That bitch didn't even weigh it. She just slapped some arbitrary price up there. My God I can't stand her. Excellent Business I highly recommend. I use the Mail Center of regularly as it's located close to my home office and regularly have the need to print sign fax or scan. The owner Is super nice and helpful whether I need 50 copies of a document or need to ship parcels to my family in New England or get something notarized. When I said I hadn't before, she told me yes, do it your way, and she didn't explain why she needed more invoices, took the package to me, scanned it, and kicked me out of the store. Lady at the front desk prints my amazon label for me as I do not have a printer and prints it at some 300% scale. She then tells me I have to buy a box because the box i provided is too small and blames me for sending a giant document for the label. The file being sent literally has no effect on how you print, it's the settings in the print menu on the computer. This is just another tactic to get you to buy a box from them. Avoid at all costs. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review for Yelp. I'm literally sitting in my car outside the business typing this because I can't believe the experience I just had with the lady at Mail Center. To start with, I'm from a small town in South Georgia. I was taught to be courteous and gracious, especially when welcoming others in your business or home. I also feel that these are just good qualities to have if you want to be a decent human being. I've been to a lot of USPS offices, UPS stores, etc. I often come with boxes not taped for one reason or another. Sometimes I'm not sure if the items are packed correctly. It doesn't really matter the reason. The person at the counter is always happy to put a stretch of packing tape on the box. Often these businesses provide the rolls for customers to use. Never before have I gone to a shipping business and been coldly instructed that I must tape the package before I bring it. That she will do it for me this time, but next time I must bring my own tape. That they sell it. And point to the display of overpriced packing tape. This seems like a small thing, but their only job is to ship things. Why not extend this small courtesy that literally every other shipping business I've been to has embraced as a good way to retain customers? Why not try to be a decent human being? I came in with a mess of things that needed to urgently get sent all over the country and she patiently waited for me as I kept fumbling with different addresses and kept mixing up what went into each package. Based on previous reviews, I halfway expected to be scolded and constanrly apologizing for being so disorganized, but that was NOT case! They've somehow lost packages, their customer service is bottom of the barrel (they seem to make so many errors it's as if it's everyone's first day everyday) and God forbid you need a single piece of tape because you forgot your roll for the first time (9 months pregnant brain)... they'll charge you $1 for a single piece of tape or you'll have to go home and return. I don't understand the bad reviews? I've only used this location to pick up packages that I've had sent here from UPS, but I've never dealt with anyone who was rude. Every time I've gone in the gentleman greeted me, asked for my ID, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Pretty efficient. The hours are convenient and so is the location. They also have a notary on site to my knowledge at certain hours if needed. I'll definitely continue to use them unless proved otherwise. read more

I took a small flat rate box to this Mail Box location and was charged $13.95 instead of $8.30 that the USPS charges--$5.65 extra. After checking the USPS price I returned less than a half an hour later to get a refund or return my package. The lady said it had already been picked up. That was not believable since the other USPS mail was still in the baskets. She said that $13.95 is the price it charges. She rationalized the extra price by saying it provides other services. USPS apparently allows private business to charge higher fees for USPS items. However, $5.65 extra--almost 70% higher, is ridiculous! I would certainly pay a small fee for the convenience of the location, but not 70 percent more! I strongly recommend not going to this any other Mail Center location. There are better prices elsewhere. The prices are wholly unjustified!!! read more

Not sure why my review was flagged but here it is. The last time I was was a little more than a year ago. The staff was very rude in general from the last time I had my packages services. I was in the area and I had to ship out my packages that day and I was not near a post office so I had no choice. When I went in it looked like the place was under new management. The employees under the new management were attentive and very helpful, giving me recommendations and offering reasonable pricing options. They'll pack and ship it and hold your hand while you fill out the forms. This little shop has some office supplies for purchase as well and a copy machine. My impression of this place was from bad to great. Its unfortunate that I do not live near this area however I will always come here for my package and mailing services whenever I am in the area due to their friendly and helpful service. read more

It happened to find out this place via many recommendations of my friend who has been using PO Box and other services, since there is not a USPS near West Ox Rd. I was looking for personal mailbox service to receive my business correspondences. This place seemed to be a nearest place that I may deal with. The price was reasonable. So were people of this place too. They provided me detailed information for my mails whenever I called. I just didn't want go over there to pick up nothing but junk mail. Until three months ago I did not know this place can be a place just to drop off any USPS mail also. I thought any mail package center such as UPS , Fedex or even this place were used to send out mainly packages or enveloped mails. Basically I found out a new post office here. I do not have a lot of packages to send out but to receive. But it is still very helpful having full service here without driving a few miles for USPS. USPS has been financially troubled last many years since internet era, as all we know. They have been considering many options to reduce the cost beyond elevating cost of postal stamps. I wonder how long USPS is going to provide current level of service in the future for same area for six days a week. I really think it may be one of options having many private sectors like "Mail Center" handle some of business especially rural areas and areas a little far from USPS even in the urban area. I do expect the cost of private sector overpass what we have been paying at USPS. But I still think many USPS locations will be closed and number of service days is going to be reduced too. So friendly neighbor private mail place like"Mail Center" is my recommendation for everybody. read more
