I went to return a dollhouse in a medium sized box to Amazon and the barcode would not scan at the machine, so I went to an employee at a checkout. She was extremely rude and told me quickly and angrily that I had to supply my own box and print the email and that she would charge me. I politely said there must be some kind of mistake. I've never had to do that before. She said, "I refuse this package!" (it was like the soup Nazi "no soup for you!" on Seinfeld. If anybody is familiar,) I asked her what her name was. She said Emily. I asked her why she was so angry just because I did not understand that I had to buy a box and pay to print a code when I've never had to do that before for Amazon She nastily and angerly said I could either buy the box and pay for the printed barcode to be printed or I could leave and I said, "OK OK, I'll pay for the box and the print! I just don't understand why you have to be so mean about it." And then she said that I had argued with her and that she refused to serve me and angrily walked off to the the back. I was not angry or upset at all. I just felt bewildered and confused at the attitude. I was just asking why I had to pay for a box because I've never had to do that before. Her attitude was really bad. I also had a young child with me and it was a very bad example that she set. It was like getting smacked in the face when you're just standing there and it completely bewildered me. So after she left and went in the back and and left me at the register, another person named Julia came over to help me. Her name tag said she was the trainer. She didn't acknowledge what happened and like I had just come up in line. I asked her if she had a problem or thought it was at all inappropriate the way that Emily had acted and stormed out like a toddler, throwing a tantrum. She said not at all because I had not understood what she was saying so it was my fault. They said that I could not know any contact information of the owner to complainand the only way that I could file a complaint would be to call the store that I was actually in. She also said she'd be happy to take my name and phone number and give it to the owner and I politely said no way. So there is no way to complain about this. The customer service is terrible. I will never return to this location. I suggest nobody goes to this location if at all possible. read more

I was treated poorly by the people working here. All they had to do was inform me that they don't have liability if the parcel I'm shipping using a boot box as a container were to break open. Okay gotcha. But since the girl and her even more Karen like male boss were so snooty about it I decided that not only will I not process any more returns through them, I won't ever return to do any business with them in the future ever. If they were just polite about it I might have purchased the $15 cardboard box they wanted to sell me. Yeah nahh bro go f yourselves. Miserable people just suck. One of the worst experiences I had ever had. I walked in the door got in what appeared to be the line behind another customer. I was yelled at by the tall black man behind the counter, very loud and rudely ma'am the line is on the other side, I asked him well why did you not say the same to her the (the customer in front of me) and she questioned as well he told her oh your ok. I was baffled embarrassed and confused again all I did was walk in the door. That man is so rude and truly should be ashamed of how he treats customers. A true Ken is what young folks call people like him but an Uncle Tom in my opinion. Jerk. Side note I was in there last Saturday and a young man took care of me very polite and helpful! I have been doing business with this store for at least 2 years and I didn't know anyone there when I started doing business with them. I have a box there and get all of my packages shipped here. I also use it to drop off stuff going back to Amazon. I have used other services they offer like passport photos and printing services. I have been very happy with everything. I find the staff friendly and helpful. Now they have come to know me and my box number by heart so when either I or my daughter walk in they just automatically grab the packages and are nice, friendly, and easy to deal with. I see many others seem to have had negative experiences, but I know the owner and he has always been nice and helpful to me as has all of his staff. I will continue to do business with them as it is very convenient, close to home and they provide a great service. read more

I try to avoid going to a physical store and often use the self-drop off a few stores down on. However, sometimes my prepaid items are too big to drop in the box and I have to go to the store. I usually don't have any problems, however, I have read other Google reviews about a rude man that works here - I presume it's the owner. I've been to this store before and have never encountered him until recently, the reviews by others are right. He's definitely not about customer service. Even if customers are just dropping off, you should still treat them nicely because when they do need to pay-to-ship something, they will return. Personally I prefer FedEx a few doors down because they are consistently nice and professional, at least in all my experiences. The man at this store is about mid-40's and of medium build. He had very short hair. I came in and said hello. He had his hand on his hip and was shaking his head at me as if in disapproval. For what reason I simply had no idea. Never saying hello. I said thank you upon leaving and he grunted. Yes, like a piggy. If you encounter him, ignore him. Just go drop off your pre-paid packages in the corner for pick-up. Don't let his bad attitude scare you. Everyone else is pretty nice here. read more

Stay away from this location. Complete rip off. I asked them to print one sheet of paper for me and they charged me $2. Fedex does it for .20 cents! The owner was completely rude about it too. His poor attitude and overcharging, just cost him a bad yelp review. Which seems many other people have also experienced after reading all these reviews. Yikes!! read more

Totally shocked by the negative reviews here, this store has always been great! All of the employees I've encountered are incredibly helpful and definitely know what they are doing. Maybe what people don't realize is that people at UPS ship packages all day every day, so obviously they are going to understand the process better than the customer! Very rude man, I believe the owner. I came in to drop off a package and he asked for my ID. I asked him politely why he needed it, and he answered in a very condescending way that it was company policy so I gave it to him. He never said "thank you", and he treated me as if I were an idiot (I am a doctor). When I was leaving and in the parking lot, I heard another customer leaving the store shouting to him" Get a real job you so and so" (expletives deleted). It is really too bad the owner is like that as he has a great location to do business from. Apparently what he doesn't realize is these days there are many other options to utilize to ship packages. The FedEx store down the street is very professional and very polite, so whenever possible I use their services. Its unfortunate that sometimes Amazon uses UPS for its returns or I would never go there. read more

Only giving one star because my package did get shipped (I think). Service was horrible!! Man at the counter seemed annoyed I asked him to tape my package (I paid the $2) but, when I asked if I could see him tape the box (which contained an iPhone) he stormed off with the box in the back saying he does this "all the time." After I heard the tape in the back room he waved the taped box in the air from the back room (with attitude) and moved on to the next person. Do I feel better?? No I do not. I guess I will find out if the phone was actually taped in the box when Verizon contacts me. Trying to support locally operated businesses. Next time I will just ship my package elsewhere. read more

Employees are rude and not helpful at all. I wanted to purchase a box to ship a few itms back to amazon. The employee stated that there was a "packing" fee for the employee to place my single item in the box. I said i could pack the item myself, he then said that i would need to pack the box in my car then. Not in the store. I ship alot of stuff, would never use this location again. read more

I HATE DEALING WITH UPS!!! Every time I get a package by them or FED EX I have nothing but drama and unnecessary bs to deal with! Either them saying they tried deliver and could not while I am home ALL day! Or, being at my door two seconds and not giving me time to get to door so I need to go MAUMEE location to pick it up when I have an office here they can deliver it to at my home or even to the location 15 minutes from my home. Instead of over a half hour away!!!! Right now I have been trying to reach them over phone and keep getting nothing but a bunch of robots talking and not allowing me to speak to any one who has a pulse! If I do not ever need to deal with UPS or FED EX ever again I will feel grateful! FED EX has left packages at my door and took off that needed to be approved by a Veterinarian to even order!!! Has given to my neighbor and did not even know if they where safe to give my package to!!! Luckily they where or my pet would not have received what I had ordered that needed the approval from a Vet! Which I had ordered through Chewy and refuse to do again! Now I just get straight through the Veterinarian's office now. Even though the delivery would be a lot more convenient or so I thought! I REALLY hope they get their act together! The USPS is the only company at this point I am willing to receive deliveries from now. Sometimes on Sunday's they say they tried to deliver when they did not. But, then the very next day my regular postal carrier will come and deliver it to me and is only one day I every once in a while will need to deal with. But, at least I know I do not need to make a million calls or go completely out of my way and over a half hour away for items! Some that which could fit in a mailbox with absolutely no issue but for some reason need to be a hassle for me to receive another way for delivery! I am going to try to avoid at all times from now on to not order ANYTHING unless it is being shipped USPS! I am young and can't imagine being any older with the hassles I have had! The older the more hassle. Especially if they no longer can drive and this is all they have to be able to get anything! Hopefully, things will change in the future but I am unfortunately not expecting either company to be willing to change here in the present time! read more

I have received rude service here on several occasions from the owner. The last straw was today, when I dropped off a package that was pre-labelled for a return item. I nicely sat it on the counter, he was on the phone and POINTED TO THE FLOOR where he wanted me to put it. Will never return to this location for any shipping needs. read more
