In several cases, the staff even boxed-up my items for me.... ALL of the staff were extremely patient and very helpful, especially in light of what could have been an extremely confusing process (since I had multiple sizes of many of the same items). They went out of their way to help me find the least expensive way for me to ship a large pink wing chair that belonged to my parents from SC to Maine. The other places I consulted, UPS and FedEx, wanted to charge significantly more than the chair was worth (even factoring in sentimental value) and would not pack it for me. (And how, pray tell, was I supposed to pack a chair myself that was about 39" X 37" by 26"?). Well at Jerribob's they told me packing up the chair would be no problem. Bob got it out of my SUV for me, since it was way too heavy for me to lift. He also told me that if I had the chair delivered to a business, instead of a residence, it would be almost half the cost. I guess because they can just drop of the pallet. Less labor. Whahoo! How about that in a world where most people are trying to extract the maximum amount of money from you while providing the minimum amount of service?! I recently moved to new area and had a package scheduled for delivery. The package was scheduled to…read morebe delivered between 2-4 pm, however it came before noon. Upon arriving home I saw the UPS post it on the door and was initially frustrated that the driver didn't just leave the package as instructed in the notes. So, unsure of what to do, I called this UPS store and talked with Red, who also happens to be the owner. (I found this out after he had taken care of helping me) Not only did Red help locate my package, and the store it was being held at-he instructed me on what to do if the access point store said they didn't have my package. Furthermore, Red remarked about 5 times, to call him back if I needed anything, or wanted more assistance regarding my delivery. He explained he may not be able to help find it, however he would do whatever it took to try and help. Red went above and beyond in assisting me and I am extremely grateful for his patience and service. He could have easily ignored me and replied with-sorry I can't help, however he did not. This shows that Red has a moral compass and truly loves what he does. I appreciate Red and his willingness to help me out with this situation and if I ever need to ship anything through UPS, you best believe I will be heading to Red's location! Thank you Red!
