If you like paying 30-50% more than the carriers for shipping, this is the place for you! Incredibly overpriced supplies, shipping etc...not to mention the upwelling. just wanted to ship a birthday gift, costs were 43% higher than UPS shipping cost! Perhaps they try to charge so much to cover the costs of the junky little items for sale. is this a shipping place or a cheap gift shop? So often I need to ship a package and also need a silicone spatula Pompous folks working there, acting like they're doing a favor while going for the money grab. last time I was there, pan older woman, just wanting to send a package one state away to her sister, short bald guy helping her, kept trying to up her costs. Couldnt believe the sell the guy was trying, anything to grab another couple bucks from their customers. Won't ever go back, not with those prices and those attitudes. Can't stand places that act like they are doing you favors while they are actively trying to fleece you with a smile on their face. read more

This place is ridiculous!!! They charged me $1 to tape my package shut that I was returning for Amazon. And I'm not talking about taping the whole box closed I'm talking about a 2" x 2" piece of tape....a tiny little sliver of tape and they charged me a $1!!! I will not be returning my business there!!! read more

In the past, I have used SC Ship On Site simply to drop packages off. Recently I needed a specific copy job completed for a Mother's Day gift. I was going to copy the pages myself but would have had to take some time off work to do so. I originally thought SC Ship on Site was self-copy however found out otherwise. Gayle, was kind enough to make the copies for me even with all of my specific requests. I was in no hurry to get the item completed and Gayle said she would make the copies in between customers. I picked up the pages today and just cannot thank her enough for taking the time to help me with this task!! Her willingness to take on my project was amazing in itself and saved me so much time and hassle. read more

I visited the store today When I entered the store first a big dog came from behind the counter I made a sigh I'm not afraid of dogs but he startled me She never told the dog to come back I told her I need a copy of a e-check.. She told me to connect with WiFi I did , then she said connect to the printer. I tried serval times but with no success . One reason why I really enjoy this place is because I hate custom forms so it was awesome to find out that they do all that for you. I also love how nice and inviting the owner is; I dont receieve any unhappy faces when I come in and they always try and help to make sure you're shipping at a good rate. I dont know what Ill do if I move! they save all the addresses you frequently sent to so if you forget your mother in laws theyll have it on file. I cant say bad things about this place other then when they first opened they messed up on the address but it was easily fixable. Very nice people work here and always eager to help with my shipping problems. I ship boxes everyday and they have the boxes I need or packing material on the ready. Also have a computer to log onto when mine has a problem, or like recently had a scale and a printer go down, I rushed down there and used their computer, printer and scale to ship off my packages. I went to Ship on Site last week to get copies made. I was very disappointed to see that Gayle no longer owned the business. I told the girl how I wanted my copies [2to1]. She did it wrong and had to do it over. When I got home and looked at my receipt I saw that she charged me for her mistake. I will not be going there again. There is a new business in Hampstead that has the same services as Ship On Site, EXPRESS TECH, in the same plaza as Sawmill Grill. Give them a try. read more

This was my second and last trip to ShiponSite in Surf City. Owners Nick Koumalatsos and Alison Capra have the worst customer service I've ever encountered and it runs down through their employees. They are full of excuses for every issue/problem customers raise. Just take a look at the other reviews posted here. Most interesting is that if you look at the owners' social media channels they purport to be customer service focused and basically genius business people. If this store is any indication of their efforts I'd say it's apparent they are full of it. They claim COVID is a plandemic and not real and yet they tell customers that their hours are variable and inconsistent because of COVID but also refuse to have staff wear masks. There is a sign on the door saying they have a medical exemption, amazing that every single employee has a medical exemption there. Makes you wonder where such a collection of employees was found that all of them have the same inability to wear masks - especially when people with lung issues like CF are capable of doing it. Simple questions on shipping procedures and pricing are met in a hostile and defensive manner. Staff and owners hang out in the store and socialize with each other while customers wait to be assisted. Pricing is inconsistent and has a huge markup - which they claim is just the cost from the carrier but when checking with the carrier for shipping the same package to the same location on the same day via the same carrier and method and it was a full $10 cheaper I call foul. I'd be surprised if this store stays in business much longer, even with the huge boom shipping has gotten lately. Do yourself a favor and never waste your time here. read more
