So I sat and thought about everything and finally decided that I would contact Office of Consumer Protection for my county. Thank you Attorney General!! (I am SO grateful to the Office of Consumer Protection, Attorney General's Office.) I reached out to OCP, provided my evidence and the AG reached out to the parties in my story. On July 16th, Amazon contacted me with notification that my $89.49 would be returned to me. To all that may read this. This is my story, my opinion and facts as it relates to me. If you find yourself in a similar situation, and you feel all Hope is lost. Do NOT give up. Just remember to have all your documentation, and present your evidence. Me, I have learned from my own personal experience. I will only use companies that provide me with a tracking number. No matter what they say to me. No tracking number, my item(s) will NOT be left. End of story! The only thing I hope with regard to staples is that they WILL amend the way they do things and provide the consumers with a tracking number. All of this would have been avoided.

The woman I worked with was cold and seemed painfully annoyed as I needed to print several items for an international visa. I was the only customer in the shop yet felt like I was the least important priority. She went even as far as to say "the guys in the back printing are getting very frustrated with the sizing of your item and are going to need to charge you more." It was a simple photo that could have easily been cut down to work properly. Instead, I sheepishly agreed to her idea of adding a white border on either left and right side of the photo, which would clearly make it look off, against my better judgment because I just wanted to get the hell out of there! It was a total waste of hours of my time and money, went all the way to the Embassy in DC and was told the photo's borders would make it against standard so my visa would need to be redone. I had 3 packages to ship out. The location is convenient because it's close to home. I just hadn't anticipated how long it would take. Upon arrival, there was 4 customers ahead of me. All but one person was just trying to ship out return items like I was. I didn't expect to be standing in an unmoving line for more than 45 minutes!!! There was 3 cashiers at the counter. Everything was moving in slow-mo. Or so it felt. By the time it was my turn, I realized there was more than 6 customers behind me and the line was snaking out the doors. None of them looked happy. I don't blame them at all. I was also dumbfounded by the complete lack of urgency displayed by the cashiers. And the utter unapologetic attitude of it all.
