The service here is decent. Employees generally seem attentive and willing to answer questions, but apparently they aren't willing to help a senior citizen who clearly couldn't carry her return in herself. I had just finished processing my return when a senior citizen customer behind me had asked for assistance in carrying in her packages, if she pulled her car up front. The customer was pleasant and had already processed her returns at the self-checkout kiosk, and just asked for a little assistance. Instead of offering to help the senior citizen carry in her packages, the cashier told her that "they had a dolly" and told her to "use that." I was honestly taken aback. The customer was very clearly a senior citizen, and though she was walking unassisted, it was very clear that she lacked the physical ability. I was in a rush to get to my next appointment, but ended up helping the customer carry in her return packages. While we were walking to her car, she informed me that she had never had this issue before at any other UPS locations (so it clearly wasn't a "company policy" issue.") If the able bodied/young cashier would've taken 2 seconds out of her time (it wasn't even busy,) she would've seen that the packages weren't unusually large nor heavy, but just an issue of mobility for the customer. I understand that we are all busy and stressed and customer facing jobs can be really stressful, but the complete lack of awareness for this senior citizen asking for assistance was really disappointing. read more

This UPS Store is a gem. Recently my father passed away and we (being new to funeral planning) decided to take on the task of doing the funeral program ourselves. It took a awhile and before we knew it the funeral was just days away. The team here was super helpful and displayed great professionalism. I regularly visit this UPS store and I have always been impressed by the professionalism the Staff represents. The team at this location has the greatest customer service ever! Lucky for Ana, I was in the store waiting to be fingerprinted when this issue happened. You CANNOT expect an employee at any business to give you a refund when they have already provided you with what you were looking for. It wasn't her fault the last page wasn't going through and I saw how politely she responded to you saying she was happy to assist you with the scanning services but you would have to pay for that particular service, but she was going to refund you the money if the fax didn't go through. She even assisted you to get into use the computer and it was you having an issue remembering your user's information. You did what you have to do Ana. Keep it up with your great customer services! Every time I come here, I haven't been disappointed. I think majority of us want a easy and stress free way of returning or shipping an item. This location has provided just that. The get 5 stars for being close to my home (even though parking can be a nightmare in Del Mercado), friendly, and over all convenient. Let me tell you, I need to buy stock in Amazon for all of the stuff I buy from them....i give them so much of my money. lol But some times things just don't work out. Amazon itself has made it so easy to return items. All I do is click a button and Amazon sends me a barcode for my return item. I then bring it over to this wonderful place and all I do is present them my return item and my barcode and I am literally walking out the door in mins. They do all the boxing and shipping themselves. I then get an almost immediate refund from Amazon. Its just so great and the friendly staff make it so much better. I will def be back to the location! Compared to other logistic companies, there is NO comparison and this was especially true during the busy holiday season as they were able to get customers in & out in lightning speed. Excellent customer service! The owner is soooo nice! One time I brought something there that I needed to send out and he packed it all up for me! It was a big item that was very hard to get in a box and he did it for me. Come to find out I couldn't mail it out of there because of the already paid return label, I had to go to the post office. I felt soo bad and said I would still pay him something. He didn't mind at all and said no problem! A lot of stores would make you pay and scold you, not him! I come to him for all of my mailing needs from now on! I highly recommend him to everyone! There is a UPS store across the street from my job and another one 5 minutes driving from my house, however, I prefer to drive the extra 5 minutes to Manish's store because their customer service is unparalleled. Manish and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Not only do they take great care of your packages, they also take the time to find ways to save you money. And if that wasn't enough, they even offer tape for your packages/boxes for FREE (unlike other locations that will charge you and make you buy a roll of tape). read more

Had an appointment to have some time sensitive documents notarized. When we got there was told the owner who does the notary was not there we had an appointment and he never bothered to call to say that he was not able to keep the appointment we had driven 30 minutes to the store and then had to find another notary in a hurry I would not utilize this store again. read more

Manish Thanki is the owner, and he personally handled the packing of a myriad of both fragile and non-fragile items to be shipped to Arizona, and stayed well within the budget that had been requested. I was informed that this is a "training store" for other franchisees, and this particular store had been awarded "#1 in customer service" by corporate. I am so very sad to write this review. My Father died, which required that I fax his death certificate to the life insurance company with the application so my Mother could pay for my Father's funeral. So I went to the UPS Store on Bel Pre Road, which I have used before. I encountered one of the rudest and disrespectful people named ANA. She scanned my 6 pages including the Death Certificate and entered the fax number. I paid $11.00 for the service as I needed a written fax confirmation. I waited 30 minutes and the fax did not complete. I asked if the 6 pages could be scanned to my personal email address. She barked at me that I would have to pay again. Why? The service I paid for did not complete in a reasonable period of time. After being barked at again, she pointed to a computer on a shelf and began barking orders at me that I did not understand. I asked her to help me and ANA yelled that should could not help me. I began to cry and explained the urgent nature of my business. ANA continued to bark at me. I removed myself from ANA and told what appeared to be the manager of the issue. He said he was sorry and she continued to bark at me until I left the store in tears. ANA YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR TREATING SOMEONE WITH ISSUES IN SUCH A RUDE AND PUBLIC WAY. FURTHER YOU ARE THE WORST REPRESENTATIVE OF THE UPS STORE ON BEL PRE ROAD. read more

This store is the best! The owner, Manish Thanki, is totally hands on! He packed 130 pieces of china for me and welcomed that I stay there to watch what he did. He was so careful and gave me his undivided attention. While I was there I was able to see how customers reacted to his employee, Ana, with nice greetings as if they were regulars. Even with a lot of customers in the store she kept her cool and treated everyone with care and respect. If your UPS store could be a nice place to visit, this is the one! I used to go to the Olney store until they refused to give me 1" of tape unless I paid $5! This store is out of my way, but excellent service and kind, friendly people are worth the distance.
