I visited the Rockville location. Simple online reservation form. I took the first available reservation in an hour. Arrived 15 minutes early and 15 minutes in and out so I finished by my reservation slot. The charge was reasonable ($52 for a visa background check). Less additional cost than gas and time required to go to a Maryland DMV that does fingerprinting (50 minutes or further away). The Maryland state web page had no online reservation form and only lists a number that one is supposed to call to make a reservation. A number with interminable hold times and cut offs. After several attempts, I never did reach anyone at the Maryland state phone number, so I looked around for a local provider. Should I need another finger printing in the future, I will go straight for this service and not bother trying to dial anyone at the number listed on the Maryland fingerprinting web page. I have been here a couple of times now finger printing services. I arrived for my 9a appointment. They were closed. Employees arrived minutes later. Apparently, it was leave your office keys at home day. When the manager or supervisor arrived, it was almost 30 minutes later. I think what annoyed me the most was that no one apologized to the other customer or myself for opening late or any inconvenience. read more

Like I told the staff when they said how much the fingerprinting cost, this beats the heck out of having to go twenty miles to the closest State Police barracks where they do fingerprinting, take a number, sit in a room full of hacking, coughing, sneezing, screaming kids and sketchy individuals for three hours only to be treated like a common criminal by the staff every step of the way. Making an online appointment could NOT have been easier. I got there about 13 minutes early, filling out the iPad form took five minutes, the actual printing is done optically and sent digitally to NICS and other agencies. I had my receipt and was on my way fifteen minutes after arrival. Worth every penny. read more

Phenomenal customer service - I was so impressed. I scheduled my fingerprint appointment after an interview down the street. The interview was quick, so I drove to AIS an hour before my appointment. I briefly inquired if they had time to fit me in early. The employee immediately checked me in and I was out of there in 10 minutes. I went to this place to do fingerprints and I asked to do the electronic version too, they charged me 73 dollars for background investigation I didn't ask for and is not an actual fingerprints so they give this long password to access the attachment on the email but has no fingerprints just a letter saying this is a background check. read more

This place doesn't have a good communication, I wasn't sure if I'll need the background check or the fingerprint, I did the fingerprint but when she gave me the postcard, so I told her I'm sorry but I just need a letter showing that I don't have any criminal record, and she said ok so what you need is a background check instead of fingerprints. So I had to pay to the fingerprint and background check and just need a background check. A good place wouldn't never charge a customer for 02 items knowing that he really need 01. I'll never recommend this place for anyone. read more

The two young ladies that were working were the most professional, polite and respectful employees I've come across in a long time. They greeted everyone who came in, answered questions without attitude and really went out of their way to make sure the customers had exactly what they needed.
