I had to return a pressure washer to the company that I purchased it from. They sent me a UPS label to use when I returned my pressure washer. I just needed to find a location. I had to go to Mpls the next day and located the UPS Store conveniently located on University Ave. Parking was easy as I was able to park right in front of the store. I unloaded my pressure washer and was greeted by Brian who helped me. Brian took my pressure washer and I was on my way. I was in and out of the store in less time than it took me to unload my pressure washer and carry it in the store. Fast, friendly and efficient. What's not to like! read more

I wish I had looked at the other reviews before having my items sent to this particular UPS store as the customer service was so poor. I used a service of lugless where you are allowed to ship to another UPS store and they hold it for 5 days. Mind you I am driving across the country and my lease starts in a few days. My items arrived a day early and the store demands me to pick up my items today while I am still driving to the state. This UPS was not accommodating and it contradict lugless information. Additional when I went to the store to pick up my items, the staff did not attempt to verify me when picking up my items which makes me concern security wise. In the future, I would totally skip this store forsure. If are in desperate need for a UPS store, then go for it otherwise find another location. read more

I purchased an item through an auction house and on their suggestion contacted Ryan at this store to arrange pick-up, packing and shipping of the item. Through a series of misadventures by the receiving UPS Store here in Seattle, the package went missing. I reached out to Ryan and, even though the mistake was in no way his store's fault, he jumped into action and worked with the receiving store to figure things out. Happy to say the package was found and is now in my possession. The packing itself was thorough and professional. During the pick-up, packaging and ship-out process, Ryan kept up regular and professional communications. I attempted to ship a package through this store (a monitor worth a little over $400) which was insured for $400. This was in June when the riots happened. After waiting to see if maybe it got lost in shipping, it became apparent that this was one of the items stolen when the store was broken into. I was told by UPS customer service that the store would have to handle it through their insurance. I got in touch with the store owner, Ryan Wilson, who kept telling me I would be reimbursed "soon/a few weeks" every time I went there, weeks or months apart. It didn't matter, he simply kept pushing the date back. That was back in June, and it is now 12/26. Every time I talked to him he was rude and unconcerned with helping me. He keeps lying and obviously has no intention of reimbursing me for an item that was in his store. In short UPS corporate would not handle it because it was not in transit, the store owner (Ryan Wilson) wouldn't take care of it because he is perfectly OK with deceiving and ripping off his customers. A total con-man all the way through. I personally would suggest not using this store, and I have avoided getting anything shipped to me through UPS or sending a package through them (and I do a bit of shipping) because this store and company has shown a total disregard for customer service and doing the right thing. read more

I recently had a box to be shipped back to this company's warehouse were it was lost song the way and I was told a double label was placed on the box.l at the store? So after a month of being lost it was returned to me. I got another return label from the company I originally order this product and went to this UPS store and they couldn't scan it to return it? Worst store ever!!! They damaged my item during shipping. Which is a joke because they literally are in business to ship items!!! Never ONCE accepted responsibility for it. I had to do ALL of the leg work, from calling corporate to the claims division and telling the store to check their emails because they did not and do not care about your items. And to top it off, Ryan Wilson, the "owner" is rude, inconsiderate, and very disrespectful. Why have a store that specializes in shipping if you damage and break the items?! The store hours are good 8-8. And the employees are helpful and attentive. You got a deal if you buy the mail box service a whole year. Some of their other services are expensive like copier and fax. It cost $1.60 to fax per page, so for only two papers it's over $6. Customers shouldn't buy that much. read more

I have had concerns with this store for years, often ignored when I walk in and treated rudely when I have questions. Now they are actively circumventing MN Dept of Health mask requirements by only wearing face shields and posting signs on the door saying that won't ask if you aren't wearing a mask. I strongly suggest not coming here the gentleman who helped me seemed annoyed to help. I understand sometimes you don't want to be at work. But that's not the customers fault. This young man was beyond lazy he just stands there while waiting for a customer to purchase something while my tv still needs to be boxed up. He could in the mean time finish my box. I'm worried my tv won't get properly boxed up so I wait for him to help these customers and yet my tv still unboxed. They lost my package that has an iphone in it (worth at least $150) and despite the promise that you are eligible for an 'up to $100 compensation' in the receipt I never received anything. They mislabeled my package to be 'clothing' instead of phone (which is ridiculous because I was packing that very phone IN FRONT OF THEM in the store). UPS claimed that they already paid the compensation to this local UPS but nothing. I called multiple times. Nobody followed up. Try other store if you want a good service. So last week I dropped off a package that was a return per the shipping instructions the merchant sent. The Drop off was fine I didn't have tape to tape the box, the cashier said that he would handle it, seems simple, well I just got a email from the merchant saying the item wasn't in the box, they opened a dispute but advised me to call the ups store and 1 800 number, I called the store first seeing this is where I started, asked for a manager and got a Ryan Wilson that later informed me he was the owner in a very rude way. I am still not sure where the item was misplaced or removed from the box but what I will say is this "owner" "manager" directly said no way possible that it happened at his store or during travel to the merchant, he was even so sure that not even at the merchants warehouse that this item could come up missing, his words were "his employees make too much money, the warehouse workers make to much money to mishandle or remove a item from packaging . After realizing I was talking to a person that really didn't want to help more so made pre assumptions without any investigating ( never ask for the tracking number) I just hung up. But I will be sharing my experience with all review sites because at the end of the day we wouldn't have thief in work places (embezzlement) because they are trusted to handle packages of value if employees didn't steal or there would be no damage claims if everything was handled perfectly. Too him my $350 dollar scarf was not enough for anyone in the chain of handle to ever steal. Advice* tape your things maybe a few times and take a picture of what your placing in the box * Again not placing blame on this business for the missing item but for the poor way the owner handles customers of his store and UPS in general! I was in the University Ave UPS Store last Wednesday and the employee was only wearing a face shield. My friend visited over the weekend and this same employee, still without a mask as required by our state mandate for indoors. As a person at higher risk, I went out early to both the Target & Cub near by and *every* employee and every customer was wearing a mask in these other locations that morning. It was incredibly disappointing to see how little regard this employee has for others. We will not be back until we are sure all the employees there that are in contact with customers are in compliance. If he is unable to wear a mask, he needs to be moved to a different position other than working directly with customers. read more
