service is horrible. they do everything in their power to be the most unhelpful people on the…read moreplanet. everything they told me i didnt already know. they lost my package. how you file a claim is stupid. everyone is inept and they refuse to do their jobs. why am i talking to a robot on the phone, repeating myself for hours. you lost my package and im the one having to find it for you. i dont work for ups. if i could go into the place and find the package myself i would. tracking says its at the ups store down the street. but service says all they can do is track it. and if the label is made wrong they send it back. HOW DID IT GET DOWN THE STREET FROM MY HOUSE IF THE LABEL WAS MADE WRONG? LITERALLY 3 BLOCKS FROM MY HOUSE A STRAIGHT SHOT. AND THEY "SEND IT BACK" APPARENTLY but it still says its at that location. fuck ups. fuck everyone that works there. you dont care about your customers. and neither does the "UPS representative" that you have to call. they all suck. fuck them all and learn how to do your job. why am i doing it for you. Went in today to mail a certified letter with tracking to the Philippines. Had a very long wait in…read moreline as a customer in front of me was having some issue sending delaying the line for up to 20 minutes, the girl trying to help her was totally "hung up," obviously appearing like she did not want to be working at all that day. But could tell she was at least trying her best. Also was able to observe two customers arguing, ready to get into a fist fight, so at least I had a little entertainment to help ease me the extra-long wait! But i have to admit that the long wait was becoming unacceptable. So, I needed to text my supervisor explaining the situation, and why it was taking me so long. Even snapped a picture so my boss could see the fiasco happening before my very eyes! Until finally, a very professional woman in her 30s came to help me. I appreciated how very observant she was and noticed the way i was looking, needing to be helped. Besides her attractiveness, what impressed me the most was her professionalism, knowing exactly how to send my important court documents with a raised seal to my fiancé in the Philippines. I immediately could see she was a very competent postal employee who understood her job. I was very saddened by the experience I had at the Howard Road, Rochester, NY, Post Office last Saturday, February 14th, as the gentleman Postal Clerk adamantly refused to send my certified mail to the Philippines, making it seem like all the US Post offices do not send certified mail to the Philippines! Told me to check in very annoyed way to check out UPS, so went to them and wanted $250 to send. So funny!! So, I went to Upper Falls Post Office, and it cost me $49.75. After so much pain, struggle and frustration trying to mail a certified letter with tracking (gets delivered in 10 days besides), i didnt mind spending an extra $30 just for the peace of mind. I like knowing my important documents won't take 5 weeks to get to the Philippines and possibly get lost in the mail in some foreign post office..

Recently, we bought a new home and have had a number of contractors over for various repairs and…read moreupgrades. One of the upgrades required was a new furnace as the original one was on its last leg. I called for 3 different estimates and received offers from 2 companies, including Betlem. From the very beginning, it was obvious that Craig from Betlem knew and understood HVAC. Not only was he knowledgeable but he took the time to explain in detail what I needed and why. I had numerous questions, all of which he answered. He spent a good hour at my house walking me through the various options available. It took me only a few minutes to decide to go with Betlem based on Craig's vast knowledge and customer service. On installation day, Betlem showed up on time and did everything they said they were going to do (Installed furnace, installed new thermostat, extended the exhaust piping, installed a new pump for the whole house humidifier, etc.) When I examined the work it looked clean and professional. After a few hours, I noticed that some of the pvc work was leaking. I called Craig and he sent over a service team the next day. The piping simply needed some additional glue to secure the fittings. While Aaron was here, he also setup the system so the furnace would turn off if the pump ever failed. He could have charged me for this because it wasn't in the contract and never came up but he did it free of charge. If you want a professional job with a company that understands customer service, you've found the right place. Thank you to Craig, Gordon, Dave and Aaron for installing our new Lennox furnace. We couldn't be happier and we will be Betlem customers for life.

My son rented here for summer rental storage. We were told they prorated, but that's not true,…read moreonly if you leave within the first 7 days of the month. They also require you buy insurance. You must sign that they can enter your unit without permission. When we arrived less than 3 months after placing stuff in storage, imagine our surprise to find the walls moldy and 3 inches on water in the unit. We got the manager and she stated that they wondered if water got in our unit from the one next door that had a gaping hole in the roof. i asked for the final month rent to be returned and i was refused. i asked for the refund to help offset the 100 deductible. i filed a complaint with bbb, it took them 7 months to respond with a flat out refusal. note... They knew about the hole in the roof and did nothing. They rented the unit, collected the cash and did nothing more. They didn't enter the unit to see if water had leaked through the wall, nor did they call us. completely negligent. They did however offer to store or ruined items for the insurance company to inspect for an added fee. We even advised the insurance company of their negligence, complete with pictures. If i had time I'd be going to small claims court. i suppose if you have ugly furniture you want to turn into cash and don't mind depreciation or fighting with insurance? this is the place for you. Otherwise, if you like your belongings this is not the place. And by the way, corporate piblic storage is just as lacking in standing behind their brand.

Although a waiver was signed, I paid nearly two thousand dollars over 10 months for my belongings to be stored safely. It wasn't until after my fourth request for a partial refund did I get an apology for my loss from the owner - accompanied by a flat out refusal to stand by their service and offer even a partial reimbursement of my rent. Lesson Learned.
