I usually go to this bank for their free notary service for customers, but between having to chase down the notary ("she's off today") and then having the notary object to signing the document, I was in need of a professional. In other words, I was tired of dealing with some of the cluelessness at the national bank with the American flag on the logo. Marcy at Professional Notary Services came to the rescue. I emailed her asking for an appointment, and she was able to see me about 24 hours later at her office. Upon meeting her, she was warm and friendly but had a no-nonsense approach and moved quickly to business. She accurately signed the required forms without hassle and without my having to return. I have had to return to notaries before because they missed a signature here or there. Since notaries are in the business of signing documents, I want them to be accurate every time. Prices were affordable. Office location is convenient, in the High Falls area. However, I understand that Marcy also offers mobile signing services as well. Marcy exceeded all of my expectations--reasonably priced, friendly, prompt, and accurate. I was on my way in less than 15 minutes. Certainly Marcy's service will cost more than the free service that the bank offers. In my case, it was only nominally more. However, you get what you pay for with free. I will definitely return here when I need my next document witnessed. In all, the value of Professional Notary Services, Inc., is worth the extra dollars. Skip your bank.

Maybe it's because I wasn't actually shipping something, but using their printing services. I had waited last minute (as always) to get some programs printed up for a show that I had on Thursday evening. Was a bit pressed for time, and wasn't looking forward to trekking out to Henrietta to us another well known printers services. Was pleasantly surprised to find that these guys do printing as well, and are right around the corner from my home. Even more surprising was their price per page was cheaper than the other place I was looking at, and the prices at that place were self serve! Placed my order online at about 10am and the site said that it would be done at about 3:30. Got a text at 12:30pm telling me that it was already done. Got to the shop, checked my order only to find that the pages hadn't printed longways, but vertical on the page. Freaking out because I thought it was something that I did, the employees were super helpful and explained that this happens often and it's something that you have to request in the notes section of your order. No questions asked, they reprinted my whole order for no charge. About 70% through the order I noticed that the pages, while printed in the right orientation, were printing upside down on one of the pages. Found out again that this was yet another thing that had to be special requested when placing the order. But, once again they restarted and reprinted the entire order for no charge. Not once did they make me feel dumb, or even balk at the fact that we had to go through this process 3 times before getting it right. I'll definitely be back.
