The staff shirts say "GET YOUR DIRTY DONE IN THIRTY," and that's the truth! A quick load is 23 minutes!!! It doesn't look that great on the outside, but this place is very clean, neat, and organized. A wash load is $5, and there's lots of room for a huge laundry load. Dry cleaning is available too. Theres a coin change machine right next to the ATM. Folding tables are spotless, the temperature is comfortable, there's video games, pinball, and (snack) vending machines for any quarters you don't use on your laundry. My clothes were laundered and dried. Not folded, place in clear plastic bags right out of the dryer and tied shut. This caused condensation leaving my clothes damp, wrinkled and prone to mildew. Bright Bubble associates do not pay attention to the times listed for a pick-up or delivery. First, my delivery was picked up at 10am when it should have been between 11am and 2pm. The delivery was LEFT ON THE GROUND IN THE GRASS OUTSIDE MY APARTMENT. Unbelievable!! Who leaves clean clothes on the ground? Totally clueless associates. No call or anything. Had a hard time finding a clean well kept laundry mat in the city, this one is clean, has new machines, lots of tables for folding, nice chairs for sitting, TVs and video games! Loved that it has an ATM that gives out $10's because who wants $20's worth of quarters?! Definitely choosing this place as my go to from now on! I have come to this laundromat twice now, and both times I have been so impressed. The thing is, I'm totally new to laundromats and never even went to one until now, living in the city. I love this one for many reasons. Chief among them is location. It's right down the street from my apartment building (which does have on-site laundry, but there's only one washer and dryer and it's overpriced, and the people in my building are kind of gross -- but, I digress) on Monroe Ave. There's all kinds of food places and bars all around, it's in a great location. Prices are fair, especially for the massive loads you can put into each machine. The entire space is extremely clean, with a ton of machines, folding tables, laundry detergent machines, televisions, tables, a massage chair, and more. It's awesome. Like, it's a cool place to sit and do some work or read a book while your clothes are being washed. There's also dry cleaning in-house. As well as amazing bright lighting, front doors locked as night falls and cameras everywhere. (Very safe!) And then there's the owner who is the best part. He's so kind and cordial and you can tell that this business is his priority. It's so refreshing. I don't see myself ever going to another laundromat while I live in Rochester, this has the whole package. There's multiple deals throughout the week as well. Do your laundry here! read more

The washers are awesome in their load capacity and how well they spin out the water so they dry quicker, plus they clean your clothes really well. Don't come here unless you want to feel unsafe and be threatened. An employee (it might have been the owner) outwardly threatened me while I was drying my clothes (i did about 8 loads that night). He came up to me and asked me if I liked to take photos, I said, "um I guess". He said "if you post any photos of me anywhere I'll sue you, I'll sue you!" (I was also approached by two panhandlers in his store). When I was leaving, I asked him if he really just said that to me, he said yes, he saw me taking photos and that he would sue me if I posted then anywhere. I told him he had lost a customer. Fun fact, my phone was dead 5 minutes after I entered the place. One of the nicer laundromats I've been to. The place is super bright, so coming here on hungover laundry day may require some sunglasses. But hey, it's in super close proximity to bars and places to get munchies so that's also good. If you've procrastinated laundry for a bit too long (I'm sure I'm not the only one that does this), this is a great place to come. There's plenty of front load washers and dryers, no top loads though which surprised me. I think the smaller machines (which start at $2.75) can take about 2 loads, and the biggest can take about 4 (starts at $4.75). The dryers work pretty quickly and you get 6 min for a quarter. Lots of room to fold, and plenty of carts to get your stuff around in. The best part, Mondays are college days. Show your college id and you get free soap for your laundry and a dollar worth of free dry time. There's always an employee on hand for questions or if there are issues. The two that I encountered were super personable and accommodating. There's also a parking lot behind the building for customers, and a back door to bring your stuff in which makes it super convenient. There's also free wifi, ask at the desk and they'll give you a password which works for an hour. Laundry is pretty much the bane oft existence, but this place makes doing it a little easier. You can get a ton done in a short period of time. I'll def be back. read more

I hate this. Down to the last shirt. Last sock. Bag corpseslung over my shoulder. Lean in to the wind. Lean in to the last night off for six days. Lean in to the steady grind, the couch scrounging quarter saving look in to oncoming traffic while you wait for the light. Another block. Story tall windows. Entrance in the back. High ceilings and strong lighting. Like every surface is reflective. Try not to lose myself in thought, keep everything on the surface. But I never can seem to read in laundromats. I guess it's a think we'll have then. Cold water soak. Don't separate by color because I can't be asked. Do I leave the machine and run through a pile of dishes? Do I trust strangers? Got to, I guess. Got to leave every errand and chore until seven on a Tuesday night. Five screens tuned to local news. Average snowfall this far in to the season: twelve inches. Total snowfall so far: less than one. And it's raining in Alaska. Hour and a half and I'm out. Feels good once it's done. Then I see her car on the block and stop walking. Ears pounding. The hurt that finds you first. The hurt that finds you four nights away from your own bed. I guess what's one more then. Might as well start the whole thing over. read more

I have been going to this laundry mat for quite sometime and after today I will not be returning. Apparently the attendants (if someone is even there) thinks it's ok to let the patrons touch other people clothes, remove them from the machines and place them in a dirty garage bags. I am the person who sets a timer and returns to switch over their clothes. I was IN THE BUILDING switching clothes from another washer to a dryer when it happened. I have utilized this laundromat pretty exclusively for quite some time as I find the facilities to be clean and the location very convenient. However, recently I have been noticing wear and tear on my clothes, and blotching and streaking on random pieces--some are cotton, some are silky--while the remaining pieces exit the drier clean and unscathed. I hate to be picky, but I spend a lot of money on my clothes. If several pieces at a shot get ruined, I consider that a failure on the part of the washer/drier. Additionally, it never leaves me feeling the SAFEST. I wish the front door would always stay closed, or that the front windows were tinted. I have had multiple encounters from people that come in off the street who are not doing laundry. Once a woman, once a man. They seem harmless, but dude, I just want to do laundry. read more

I have been to a couple of laundromats during my stay in Rochester, and so far this one is my favorite for several reasons. They have a decent sized parking lot right behind the building, so no fighting for street parking or limited space. And when you exit onto the side street, you are right at a light on Monroe Ave, so it is easy to make turns. They have restrooms, although I have not needed to use them. This has been great for me, since I always worry that some time during the hour I spend doing laundry I will need that. They have a change machine that takes everything up to 20s. The building is very clean, and bright. It smells nice and fresh, and I appreciate all the natural sunlight. Lots of carts to move laundry, and lots of large tables to fold on. They have drink and snack machines, as well as some arcade games and toys for parents bringing kids. Large TVs that are usually playing sports or news. If you want to bring lunch, they have some little tables and chairs, as well as seating to the sides of machines for those of us who like to bring reading material. The location is convenient for folks who want to walk around. There is a McDonalds close by, as well as several nice local restaurants. Machines seem to be priced typical of the area... maybe a touch more expensive, but worth it for all the other features. Heads up... Tuesday and Wednesday are $1 off wash as of this posting. There is almost always an attendant on duty when I have been there. The one time their wasn't, he let me know he was leaving, and someone else was there in probably a half hour. Free WiFi, although my phone seems to have issues with it. I actually chatted a bit with the owner today, and he was VERY friendly and personable. I like seeing small businesses with owners who are really invested and care about what they do! I will be here a few more weeks yet, and I doubt I will even look for another laundromat. read more

Rob took great care of me here today... I've lived in the city for over three years and I have always had washer/dryer in my basement. My landlord unfortunately won't fix the dryer and it's been over a month. I was super hesitant about coming to a laundromat because of their reputations. I'm a young female in downtown Rochester, not the safest situation, you know? Anyway... Came here kind of skeptical and worried but the inside of this place is spotless. Rob greeted me and took me on a little tour, showed me all the things I needed to know about the once dreaded laundromat. It's really not as scary as I always thought. My bf and I just moved to Rochester this past July. We went to a few different laundromats but found them either dirty or too far away. This one is awesome! It's in a very convenient location on Monroe Ave. It's not only spotless in there, but there is always an attendant around to help. There are deals throughout the week too! When you have to spend an hour doing laundry, you'll wanna go to Bright Bubble because they have comfy seating and entertainment (tv's, arcade games, kids toys) We won't be going anywhere else! Even better, the owner is a very nice guy. He came up to me and introduced himself to me. I love that this is a small business and that the owner takes pride in his establishment. I was going to leave 5 stars but after my last experience, I can't. I primarily go to this laundromat for the wash and fold service. Which is fast and convenient. After my last visit, I was told that they charge $25 to wash a single comforter. On their website it clearly states for "dry cleaning". Why would anyone pay $25 to wash one comforter?? After inconsistent pricing and the fact they are the highest charging laundromat in the Rochester area, I don't highly recommend them. You can easily go to the no frills laundromat across the street and save $$. read more

This is my favorite laundromat in Rochester, however there's a young guy on Sundays who is not very helpful! I realize he has duties and responsibilities, however when several customers need change and his refusal is blatantly rude, my concern for his desire to sweep the same spot and avoid people plummets. He is regularly useless as an attendant, and offensive on his lack of hospitality skills. I dearly hope the only flaw in an amazing staff can be remedied soon. read more

I would like to take a moment to update my review! Yesterday morning I went in to do my laundry and I have a 3 month old son and several laundry bags so I went in first with out the baby and laundry bags to see if they had enough machines and get my quarters my partner who was in the car outside was waiting for me to come back so I could get the baby. And he could bring in the laundry . The employee there walks up to me and says I guess you can't read! Now I'm sure this had something to do with my race but for the record I can read! And what do you know I can write and type too! He was accusing me of just getting my quarters because there is a sign that says quarters are for customers only. Now I have done my laundry here so many times and have never had a problem but this rude asshole has convinced to never go back I would not spend another dime there. I was so offended instead of asking me are you aware that the machine is for paying customers only which I would have responded my son and laundry are in the car he says you clearly can't read! I have dealt with many employees In This location and have never had and issue thus my positive review is now a negative one. This place is kept so clean and there is always plenty of machines (x large and normal) to use! There is friendly staff on site which keep it feeling well kept and functioning. The only downside is that the parking lot out back is not designated as use for laundromat users, but I don't see it as a huge barrier as you can park on street and pop in the lot to unload and pickup. read more

I've been here a few times now because parking by the southwedge laundry is difficult in winter. The washers are a bit more expensive ($2.50 versus $1.75) but they make up for it by having loads of machines. It's also incredibly clean -- there's always been a guy there going around, cleaning the place when I've been there. There's plenty of places to sit, watch tv, play PAC-man or Star Trek TNG pinball or enjoy some time in one of the massage chairs ($1 for 3 min). read more

The machines are great on my clothes, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is very clean and modern, and I always get my laundry done in 30 minutes (they have larger washing machines). I think the prices are reasonable ($5 for a huge load, 25 cents for 6 minutes of drying).
