The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! Every time I've come in for shipping or return services they've walked me through the processes with ease. I was last here requesting to print documents and ship a package to a friend in Minnesota. The person helping me, Victoria, was excellent! In recent month as we prepared to leave WA State we had numerous opportunities to ship things to family members and to our new home location in the Columbus, OH area. Sandeep and his team are so kind, knowledgeable and willing to help. Trust me, we presented some challenging situations including our portable infrared sauna. As a customer since 2020 who has used many of its services, I would highly suggest not coming here for any services aside from Amazon returns. I had a mailbox here for several years, tried to get printing jobs done here, and took my passport photos here. The price for my mailbox went up by over $100/year since 2020. When I closed it 10 days ago, the person helping me told me there was free mail forwarding for a month. I told her I'll swing by to pick it up in a month, and we even confirmed a date of when I would pick it up. So I continued to have mail sent there. Unfortunately when I went to pick up my mail today, I was told that mail forwarding costs extra and there was no note about holding my mail, so my credit card that I had sent there and other mail were returned to sender. This was of course disappointing since that's not the communication I was left with with the female employee that helped me previously. A month prior, I had my passport photos taken there too. I would highly suggest going elsewhere. The person helping me at first had to do it several times. He couldn't figure out how to actually have the camera take the photo. And after some finagling, he took photos with flash and without. And then realized there was no memory card inside. Okay, then he put the memory card inside and took the photos again one with flash, and one without. And he printed out the photos and gave me two squares on the counter that were not only blurry, but so tightly cropped the top of my hair was cropped out. The woman he kept asking questions about taking the photo finally took a quick photo with flash super close up. While it wasn't blurry, cropped well, and put into the little passport folder, it was overexposed and washed out. Now I'm stuck with that for the next 10 years. A few months ago I attempted to find out pricing for a print job. Apparently the person responsible for that is only in a few days a week and you cannot get a quote when you come into the store. Overall, this store has gone through some transitions with new ownership. The new owner is very kind and enthusiastic, but there are so many balls dropped and ineptitude. The upgrades of the machine to make Amazon drop offs easier was great. But unfortunately more training and communication is needed for the staff. I was using this UPS shop for ages and I won't be able to use it anymore. I came with Amazon return. Items were quite similar, so I needed extra time to figure out which label go where. Clerk has gave me extra time without any problems and was kind to me. But then, the owner came and took control of my return. He was pressing me out, was loud and humiliated me in front of all customers and shop employees.He said " you have bad communication skills". Due to my age and health conditions, maybe I'm not ideal narrator for movies, but still can use UPS service as a customer. That was a pure rudeness and discrimination from the owner and I told him how I feel. He offered me not to use his shop and didn't apologize for his actions. I wondered how a UPS Store can have a 3 out of 5 rating. I mean the job isn't that difficult. People come in. You greet them and ask them what they want. You take their package and do what's necessary for it to be shipped. However, now I understand the mediocre rating. I went this morning to send three items. Upon entering the store, the person behind the counter just glared at me. They literally never spoke to me. Never a single word or greeting or asking what I needed. I laid the items on the counter, showed them the bar code for each one, and they wanded each item. All without a single word being spoken. They only spoke to me when I said, "Thank you" at the end, whereupon they parroted me by repeating "Thank you". Someone had to show basic courtesy as it sure wasn't going to come from the UPS Store employee. read more

Best. Service. Ever! We had a large furniture return to Amazon. A short phone conversation with Scott helped me to know exactly what to bring, including the original box to save having to purchase a new one. At the store, Scott and Charles carried the furniture in, and packaged and labeled the box for return. Meanwhile, Lauren offered any additional help we might need. Garbage store. Because the adjacent FedEx store closed, I had to come here to scan 2 sheets of paper. Only one scanner for the whole store and some science lady was crating booklets for class. After 20 minutes I could finally scan. Then I find out it's over $5 for 2 black and white sheets! Because of the "service fee" because they force you to email your docs to their computer so that they can forward it to you. Seems like extortion. They make you wait 20 minutes plus 5 more to go through their machine and call that service! At FedEx it would be 1 minute and 30 cents! For the amount of time and money this took I could have drove to the Bellevue FedEx store and back! Avoid this trash place. read more

Worst customer service. Ever since Amazon changed their return methods to the self scan, the employees here will not talk to you. And they don't have the drop off procedures properly signed so even after you use the self drop off scanner, you have no idea where to put your product that is being returned. This is more of a cautionary tale, one that has resulted in the loss of my business. This store is in my neighborhood, I have been a customer for over 5 years, visiting it frequently. I hadn't had any issues until I did. During my last visit in June, the system was down. I was provided a receipt showing that I had dropped off my item for delivery. AA few hours later, when the system was back up and running, I was contacted by the store with a tracking number. When my package was not delivered, it was discovered that my package was sent and received in CA when the destination was NY. Over the next 60 days (from the date of drop off) the store employee that helped me originally and the manager would contact me to try and resolve the issue. I tried filing a claim online too many times to count. Their regional manager ultimately decided that it was not a UPS problem. On the 60th day (the last day to inquire about a missing package)? UPS blamed it on the 3rd party shipper for providing the wrong address (from their QR code), never acknowledging that it was employee error during their downed system. I must add here that I have shipped items to this 3rd party shipper multiple times, using their QR code without issue for years. I was looking to be made whole to cover the out of pocket cost I had replacing the item, a total cost $162. The morale of the store is I should not have thrown away the original receipt when I received the tracking information from the store, which I believe would have proved they had the correct delivery address when the package was dropped off. Let me be clear here, I am not just a disgruntled customer out $162 without proof, UPS confirmed the 3rd party shipping address was in NY and that they sent the item to CA. Morale of the story, and it goes without saying, keep all of your tracking documentation until you receive confirmation of delivery to the correct address. I suppose this is my fault. I got comfortable with the customer service. The customer is always right is a thing of the past. read more

I have been going to this UPS store for 4+ years and have had pretty good customer service up until today. Today I just went to the store on my lunch break to return a few Amazon items. There were 2 Staff working at the counter/registers and no line. When I walked up to the counter, 1 Staff person walked away to do something and the other looked at me and he said "Amazon returns?" I responded yes. He then told me to return them at the Amazon self service area. I told him I prefer having a person help me because it's much easier and faster. He said "well I am busy at the moment". I said "are you refusing to help me?" to which he responded "people are supposed to use the self service area from here on out for Amazon returns". I told him "that's unfortunate. I guess I will go to a different UPS store then" and I left. Very disappointing that I couldn't get personal assistance from a Staff person when there was literally NO line and all I wanted was to have a (quick) in and out Amazon return experience. :( read more

So evidently these guys decided they no longer want to take USPS boxes even though it is listed as one of their services. Evidently this has become to much do a hassle for them and they just do t feel like doing it anymore. And when I questioned that I had just mailed something g out the other day the manager looked at me and rolled her eyes and said fine I will just do it. I said never mind their is another mail ox place in Redmond Town center that is nicer and and doesn't complain all the time like they do. Horrible customer service. I came in to send a bunch of small bubble mailers. I had sent the exact same thing the week prior at another UPS store in kirkland. They were able to help me just get postage on them for less than $1 each. This store refused to do so saying it couldn't be done and wanted to charge me $7 each. I tried to explain how the other UPS employee did it last time (only a week prior) and the lady working the front loudly exclaimed it wasn't possible in a way that was humiliating and embarrassing, as there were other customers in the store. I even asked the person helping me to look up what they did last time and he just said "sorry I can't". I will not be bringing my money or business to this UPS store again. :( read more

I had to drive to this store because the totem lake UPS store said for each item, I had to get back in line each time! Well, I back up my truck and before I know it, there is a guy named Joseph who has wheeled me out a hand truck then offers to hop in back (under my truck bed cover) and within a few minutes has all 30+ packages signed in and on a UPS truck going out. I love going to send packages from this UPS store and do so every holiday season! First, the staff are long term, dedicated, remember you, and very friendly and helpful. They ALWAYS take the time to give you the most options to save money or get the package there fast, whatever you need, they'll pack it for you, they have copiers, gift envelopes and greeting cards there and will patiently wait for you to fill one out and include with the package and always, always take the time to make your day. I've seen some customers treat them abruptly and other customers tell those people to behave better! One of the Seahawks came in because they have Notary Publics and other services so you never know who you'll see there! read more

They have botched a next day air delivery of a unique cake created for my son's birthday. After not being able to track the shipment I have contacted the store only to learn that the package was still sitting there 24 hours later. The manager tried to claim that I have missed the next day air cutoff, which was clearly a lie, since the time stamp on my receipt said 3:43PM, an hour and 17 minutes *before* the cutoff. Surely 1+ hour should be more than enough to create a shipping label. Some unprofessional and rude attitude there. I think I am done with UPS.... read more

I went in yesterday with a friend. She went in first and I joined 5 minutes later. I was looking at a display and the clerk very loudly and rudely asked "can I help you"? Over my friends head. I dryly replied I'm with her. I'm a woc and felt like that was so racist. A white man came in after me and the clerk nicely replied "I will be right with you Sir". Normally my experience at this UPS store is enjoyable and the service is friendly and kind, but today when I went in the people were rude and unhelpful. I brought in a giant box to return, just big not heavy, and apparently there is a size limit?? I had no idea and the guy said "it's just a courteousy to take big packages to the post office". He was basically accusing me of being discourteous when he didn't even explain the expectations or limits on their packages. I then struggled to get back out of the store with my awkward box and set it against a machine to get a better grip and he said "no, don't set it there, that's expensive" and did nothing to help other even though I was their only customer. This place unfortunately makes the term "customer service center" an oxymoron. The workers looked miserable and worked at a really slow pace. I was there to just pickup an Amazon package and despite only one person being in front of me I had to wait 15 minutes. The girl working there was sweet but kept making mistakes, this customer who had left came back to get a receipt she had misplaced. I like the C.C center because you can pick up stuff as soon as it gets into the area but the customer service at the "smaller stores" is signficantly better. read more

On Friday the 7th I had a very rude employee who could not get off her private call to help us. I wrote to the manager that evening, they were open both Saturday and Sunday and still as of Monday at 2pm there has been no reply. I just called the corporate office as I told the manager I would if I did not hear a reply. I also told her I would be posting a yelp review, I feel I waited 3 days before posting so I feel I have given them a chance to respond. So DO NOT shop at the Redmond Way UPS store unless you enjoy having employees yell at you because you are interfering with their personal life. I see others have had the exact same service! I got a reply from the owner 4 days later. Clearly they do not want to honor their customers, From the owner: I'm sorry you had an unpleasant experience at the Redmond Store, but when systems go down, especially 30 minutes before closing, it is a bit unreasonable to to blame the counter person. A couple of rebuttal comments just so we both understand the issue: 1. The USAA system failed - not Lauren! 2. The phone converstaion was with a customer - not personal. For your personal enlightenment, personal calls on the comapny phones are a no-no. 3. Staff are under strict orders from me to NOT give out personal phone numbers. 4. I always drive an extra 10 miles to send my packages through this store. I am always greeted with smiles and they never make me feel like I'm bothering them. I refuse to go to the store 2 miles from my house because of those reasons. Everyone who has helped me here is pleasant and they seem like they enjoy their work environment. The UPS Store in Redmond has a useful location. It's kinda small, but that's fine. The staff here are pretty nice and service is fine. They require all the customers and the staff members to wear a mask while inside of the store and have social distancing stickers on the ground to mark 6ft away from people in the line, inside the store. I've been in this store before to drop of a pre-paid package and was literally in there for less than 30 seconds, even though it was crowded. I was acknowledged right away even with a line of folks waiting and when they saw it was prepaid they took the package and sent me on my way. We walked into this afternoon with two separate bundles of things that needed to be packed and shipped. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and taken care of quickly and easily. The guy who did the packaging knew what he was doing, and the price for the supplies was pretty reasonable. All-in-all, a great experience. read more

Had a UPS Next Day Air label already paid for, just forgot my printed copy at home. Cost me 1.61 to print because I had to use their computer. Refused to print it for free or even just charge me .10$ for the copy. People answered my questions well enough, but I can't justify a good review when the company has such crappy policies. If my company didn't use UPS as their main shipping supplier, I would never use them. FedEx is much nicer. read more

Friendly people work here, and I'm a big fan of friendly. :D Shipping and material costs are pretty high, but they're the same as what you'll get elsewhere. I mostly use this place to drop off pre-paid packages since it's so convenient for me. A note on their customer service: we came in to mail a package, and 10 days later it showed up at my apartment marked "no postage"- they had forgotten to affix any kind of actual postage to the package after we paid. I wasn't sure how they'd handle that (we didn't have a receipt of any kind)- but they were very apologetic and promised to ship it out that day. Nice! read more

Don't take US passport photo in this store, so bad. Even though their photo can not be accepted for application. The photo which they take totally different than other post office. And they said it's not their responsibilities, and the price is much more expensive than Fedex or walgreen. They said that is what they done, they can not do refund or even give me a explanation.
