Wanted to charge $3 to print out a UPS label. Don't waste your time here. Most UPS stores do that as a courtesy.

I send packages through the Cameron Village store on a weekly basis. Today I entered the store around 6pm. I was masked, all the customers were masked, the UPS driver in the store was masked and two out of three counter clerks were masked. When I approached the counter to mail two packages. A young, tall White guy with black hair in his 20s named Camden, was my clerk. His mask was down below his chin the entire time he assisted customers. When I approached the counter I quietly asked him to lift his mask over his nose (quietly explaining I'm a pandemic nurse who works with the public.) He slammed his masked up, took my packages and literally threw them on the metal weighing counter while stating that he was "vaccinated and had COVID, so I'm the safest person in the store." That's not how it works, but I wasn't going to have a philosophical or medical tutorial with a clueless and rude UPS clerk. I took my packages and left. I could careless what the customers do, but when a service clerk refuses to follow the rules set forth by his own store....and then abuses the customers discreetly asking him to follow those rules (to keep us all safe) I'm out. I'll bring my business to another UPS store or USPS. Corporate was notified. read more

I had 7 large boxes of glass /ceramic items to ship and took the one that was the most valuable to this location to be packed and shipped by "professionals". The customer service was fine in the store but when I received the boxes, the 6 ones I had packed myself arrived in perfect shape but the one I had paid them to pack and ship was broken. They put one single layer of bubble wrap around a large glass expensive vase and dumped it into a box. The vase was clearly broken by being jostled around. Anyone who packs things should know that you must put peanuts or something so it doesn't move. I called the store and spoke to Sarah who reported they had some new employees as an excuse for this poor job. I now get the pleasure of dealing with UPS to get my money back from their really crappy work. Avoid this place if you need packing and shipping services. They clearly have no interest in doing a good job. read more

On Saturday, Sept 17, I dropped off a $4000 painting to be packaged and shipped to New York. I worked with Josh, the store manager. The package was insured and to be delivered on Wednesday, Sept 21. As of Monday, Sept 26, the package has not been delivered. I have left multiple phone calls, eight to be exact, with only 1 return from Josh, stating the package was found and he needed to know where the package was to be delivered since it was held up. The recipients name and phone number was on the shipping papers. As of today, there still has been no resolution. This is totally unacceptable. I feel UPS has me over a barrel and is not taking responsibility for this product...to deliver its product...which is a prompt delivery. The painting is in UPS hands somewhere. If I could locate it, I would drive to New York and get it myself. Boo to this UPS service and this store manage who is unable to resolve this issue with satisfaction. Susan Scoggins read more

Shocked at the lack of communication over an undelivered package. Customer service has been abhorrent!!! Recently shipped a package that was promised to arrive the next day to another NC address. Two weeks later, no delivery and no follow-up. Neither the 800 call center nor the online tracking number information nor The UPS Store have offered consistent explanations or made any extra efforts to resolve this issue. Currently an investigation is underway but without any timeline ... "crickets" in the meanwhile. Greater professionalism was expected. read more

I regularly visit this store to deposit checks into my USAA accounts. The staff is almost always friendly, helpful, and efficient. In the afternoons/evenings, it is definitely more busy than the mornings, so if you need some personalized attention or something requiring more time, stop by then. This full-service shop seem pretty busy with people dropping off packages and shipping packages, with the staff offering to do the final taping and labeling of boxes, which is awesome if you just ran out of packing tape. They can also help you transport the package from your car to the store and the very close parking makes it easy to drop off packages. There is also a post office mail drop off, PO boxes, copiers, and some token office/packaging/moving supplies. The USAA deposits have been spot-on, accurate deposits that take very little time (sometimes there can be a line to get to one of the two employees though). This has become my new go-to place for depositing checks because of its convenient location and friendly staff. I will also definitely come here when I have packages to ship. read more

I was at the Village District UPS store this past weekend. There was one lady working the front with a line of customers. I saw employees in the back- one I could see was on his cell phone. The store smelled like a weed factory! The other customers in line were commenting on that as well. An elderly lady said every time she has been there lately it smells like that. I don't know where UPS is getting their employees?? Customer service used to be great but for the last few months it is awful. This location lost my package and never responded back to me after several calls to the store. I had to call corporate and was told that they can't help since each UPS store is individually owned. I'm disappointed with the lack of service or care for my lost package. I did go to the downtown UPS store and had a great experience and other packages arrived as promised. This store however is not one that I would trust again to shop my package successfully or to provide any level of good service. read more

The young clerk named Alex is quite literally a life saver. I cannot RAVE enough about how genuinely great that young man is. I was having a printing crisis and he spent HOURS with me working on how we could complete the project I brought in. He bent over backwards and took so much time out of his day with such kindness and heart. I brought in a DIY wedding related fiasco that was just another crisis to add to my already LONG list of stressors and tasks. It was Alex's pure kindness that made me feel so taken care of and in good hands. I mean the guy even helped me after hours....on his PERSONAL TIME.....he was determined to finish the task at hand. Not many people do that kind of stuff for strangers. He reminded me that there are people like him still out in the world. read more

Wow. Walked in and lady greeted me with "yes?" with a deadpan stare. I said I had to send something back and she took it from me and asked if I needed a receipt. Considering she was going to use the same bag I brought it in (which was ripped) I said "yes please" and she printed it and handed it to me without looking. I walked out and the door snagged on the half broken, dangling security panel in the door. Nice. Second time there with subpar customer service, but that was not called for. What up, UPS Store? I'm a big fan of getting rid of things, so I'll drop off the occasional package with a prepaid label here. Typically, I just walk in, put the thing on the counter, say "prepaid", and walk out. And boom! That package is off on a magical shipping adventure. A couple times I have returned Internet equipment (wow that sounds so serious - it's just a modem) to AT&T. I really dig the AT&T-UPS partnership because it avoids the Time Warner Cable scenario where you're in line for 30-90 minutes. When I've interacted with staff, they're typically super-friendly. I don't know if that's because they really enjoy their job, or they're just happy to see a person. Regardless, thank you UPS! You're doing your job and doing it well. read more

So this UPS Store does typical UPS store things. In addition to those things, get your documents notarized here. This includes things, such as deeds, that your bank will arbitrarily refuse to do for you. Okay, not necessarily your bank, but First Citizens will refuse you. Cause F U for banking with them! How dare you bank with them!? So the guy working at the time was very mean, but I ended up getting my deed notarized without any real issues. He told me the document required him to use his sacred notary seal multiple times. I didn't pay too close of attention, since the Grand Almighty Sanctified Witness Notary Public would never do anything unethical. Right? Later, I noticed that he added a seal on there that wasn't required so that he could charge me an extra $5. Very ethical. Moral of the story: don't come here. read more

Parking can be tricky here sometimes with all the other business around, but you usually can find a spot. The staff have always been extremely nice and helpful at this store, but service can take awhile. Only one person works the checkout, even if there are two people working, which I don't really understand. The store is well organized with all the shipping items you could possibly want. read more

1. When I first came in, I was acknowledged and waited until the employee finished with another customer. She then had conversation with another employee for a while, then looks at me and goes, "All set?" 2. They charge you $1/page to scan documents, just to email them to yourself. I'm not using their paper - why so much?! Staff gave me a key to count my scanned pages, but when I took it to the front to pay, he didn't even look at it - just asked me how many pages I scanned. Then why did I even need the key?! 3. While I'm struggling with the scanner, yet another star employee comes over and tries to jack the machine from under me for another customer. I've had other positive experiences here in the past, but today was not one of those days. read more

Staff is always friendly and helpful, but their corporation and customer service is absolutely garbage. Not helpful in any way and never even try to get refunds from UPS when they screw up a delivery. Better off sending a package on a greyhound bus. This UPS Store location was holding a $200 Epson printer for me in the back on Friday, and when I went to pick it up Saturday afternoon it was gone. They also don't keep a log of items when they are picked up. The manager of the store offered me no recourse, just a simple sorry. Whatever you do, DO NOT have items held here. If it is misplaced by the store, you will not be refunded for lost items. read more
