This is a cute little stationary shop. It struck me as I walked in that if you have a very specific need that you're looking for in terms of cards and gifts, the way that I did, this is probably not going to be your go-to place. What this place does look like it is good for is for your inner party planner to come out and do something that's like above and beyond amazing! The type of the decorations that grace these doors are giving very Gallantines Day vibes with a pinch of Saturday morning brunch. I'm talking cocktail napkins with cheeky sayings and quirky board games, and lots of really beautiful high quality cards. Also, in the back one of their employees was very much engaged in a wedding consultation for a couple, and it was clear that they know all of the event planners in town. This place is definitely a great resource if you're willing to spend a little bit more time and energy on your creative party planning needs. I unfortunately walked out empty-handed cuz I was definitely looking for more of a down to earth Black Girl Magic vibe and well, this ain't it. That said, I will probably be back to plan my daughter's next birthday celebration. read more

Moving to Cameron/Village Square the week after 4th of July 2021 More of a party supply store than a stationary shop. Yes, they will print and create invitations for you. The point is if you are visiting here to add to your stationary, wrong place. Just not a lot of stickers or pens or card stock that you may want. Lots of gift ideas. Placemats. Napkins. Some decorations. Ribbon. Bought a wooden baby toy for my 1 year old nephew. Friendly enough. Visit their new location. See if they picked up more space for more variety. read more

If It's Paper did a wonderful job on our "save the dates" for our upcoming wedding. I wanted a custom illustration, and once I secured that from another vendor, I had to find a great printer to bring my vision to life. I searched all over the Triangle and settled on If It's Paper after walking in one day and meeting with one of their employees. Elizabeth was also there, and the two of them were able to price out exactly what I was looking for. They even wrote me a quote (which I kept) as I was still undecided. When I made up my mind, I called If It's Paper and made an appointment about three weeks in advance to go over printing. I arrived that day and met with a different employee than I had before. While friendly, this employee didn't seem to know much about the custom stationary aspect of the store. Sadly, the reason I'm taking a star off is because this employee tried to give me a completely different quote; it's a good thing I still had my paper mark-up with me, although she still tried to change the price for basically every line item on it. This left a bad taste in my mouth even though she ultimately agreed to honor the quote I had received before. If not, I probably would have gone elsewhere. The actual invitations turned out beautifully. I asked for a 5x5, but they had to be increased slightly which meant the envelopes had to be special ordered. This took additional time, but Elizabeth spoke with me and was happy to ship them to me when they arrived in the store. Although there was a slight snafu the day I went and actually paid, I am happy with the quality and care that Elizabeth put forward and do think that this would have been a five-star experience if I hadn't of run into a pricing issue with a somewhat incompetent employee. read more

While visiting Raleigh, I ended up in 'If It's Paper'. Picked up some great cards & napkins. Great selection! 1 star taken off because although there was only myself & 1 other customer in the store and I physically passed both employees, you would think someone could say hello or greet me. Strong supporter of independent and brick & mortar stores but I don't think a "Hi" is too much too ask. read more

If It's Paper was a great vendor for our wedding invitations. They are an upscale stationary store and most of their products were not in our budget, however, the owner Elizabeth met with us several times and helped us find something that was gorgeous and affordable. She also gave us hints on how to save money using an online vendor for additional information inserts in our invites. Our invites were stunning and exactly what we wanted. Elizabeth and the staff at If It's Paper were very patient with us as I took literally hours in their store looking over things before I could decide. The only reason why I take a star away is that I did have trouble connecting with them via email which can be frustrating waiting for a response on stuff. Otherwise, a great experience and I would say be patient with them and your invites will be amazing. They know what they are doing! read more

I worked very closely with If Its Paper for all of my paper goods leading up to my recent wedding. They were easy to work with, flexible and knowledgeable. I appreciated working with a vendor who had an opinion when I needed one and who had an answer when I had a question. There are a lot of details to be considered when planning a wedding, and this was not one I had to worry about! I appreciate that the team anticipated what I might need next and how they were ready with a solution; I never found them to be pushy or overly-salesly like other vendors. I saw the store and thought it would be the perfect place to find stationary for all the thank you cards and letters I have to write after having my newborn. I was disappointed by the lack of hospitality of the staff as they continued to talk to each other about their pets and not acknowledge me as I entered the establishment and even walking between them. A third employee came in so I waited if I'd be helped then...nope. While I was wandering around the store lost in the sea of paper another customer came in who apparently they found worthy of greeting and seeing if she needed help.
