Had a really great experience here. Sagar was so efficient - helping two people at once and providing top notch customer service. While one customer was making decisions, he'd pivot and ask the next person what they needed or told them he'd be right with them. If you advertise notary services, then you should have a notary present during operating hours. If they take a lunch, post the times they aren't available. I left after waiting 10 min and being told notary was out to lunch. When I called back to get exact time of notary return and how they were 2 notaries in north Portland I got attitude "I doubt that." Dude, there are 2 in north Portland and one in a super industrial area near Hayden island. Like I didn't look first to see what notaries were available. Postal PDX notary is there all the time FYI on NE Vancouver. Not convenient but dependable. And no attitude. read more

The bad: The parking lot is TINY There is a one-way car traffic for through the parking lot, and the painted arrows on the pavement indicating this are almost completely worn-off and almost impossible to say in the rain. I use them for my Amazon returns. They are good at getting people in and out without any delays.

Worst location I've ever been to. Don't expect them to be open during inclement weather, even though UPS has drivers everywhere delivering packages and customers driving to their location. They'll just put up a sign saying they're closed, even though employees are standing inside. So, they can pay employees to do nothing, but can't stay open for customers. This location is a waste of space. read more

It's awkward to turn into the parking lot based on its proximity to the intersection and lack of turn lane, but I go here for Amazon returns and it's always a quick and easy process once you're at the counter. I generally go in after work before they close and often walk straight up to the counter. At most there are a couple people to wait on which is typical for ups stores I've been to. The lines are at least shorter than the post office, but the post office is cheaper, of course. read more

We've been collecting video games for years. My husband would go to Japan a few times a year, we'd hit the thrift stores and garage sales, and we slowly accumulated quite a few things over the past few years for a rainy day. Who knew all of 2020 would be a rainy day? As we've been selling the stock, the Lombard UPS store opened at the same time. I can't tell you how thrilled I was to not have to go to that other place Lombard. They're so condescending. I've now shipped over 700 packages through the new Lombard UPS store. They're FAST, nice, funny, and really good people. But wait. It gets better. One time the entire UPS system went down. I left a dozen shipments with them. No receipt. No payment. When the system came back up 2 hours later, all my shipment emails came through and I paid when I came back in after the weekend on Monday! There's more. Jace and Liam, the two main employees, are so nice and fun, we've developed a nice banter. I asked them how large they can print there because I like to print sewing patterns which are approx A0 size and longer, if you're familiar. I come from a lengthy print design background and have tried to get EVERY major printer in Portland to listen to the plight of sewists needing a local printer. NOT a single one would get off their high horse long enough to listen to me. Liam set me up with Terril at the Woodstock location and she listened to me! Not only can they print large size, their prices are very competitive with that other place in the Midwest, AND her print drivers are updated! If you know, then you know that's a HUGE deal. If you don't know, just understand that was a major customer service move that is above and beyond. Now...if I can just get them to put a large format printer in the Lombard location. Hint, Hint Don. Get in to the Lombard store. Seriously. Quit dealing with that jerk down the street. Ease up on the poor USPS office and send your USPS through UPS store, ship back your amazon, ship that baby layette to your sister, print that job application... do it. You'll be thrilled. And if you happen to be closer to the Woodstock location, say hi to Terril for me. read more

Received amazing service from Liam as I needed to quickly get my son's birth certificate to him in NV. the amazing part: Got home and realized I had another document for the envelope. Went back this am expecting to pay for another envelope. Liam smiled & pulled yesterday's as not picked up yet...and helped me get everything in one envelope, ONE PRICE! I use this UPS store for Amazing returns and they somehow misplace 6 out of 10 of the last returns I have dropped off there. I get a drop off package receipt, but then my Amazon account shows the returns as incomplete. It happens so often that the woman there told me to save my drop off slip since Amazon returns are showing up as not dropped off. It had been a couple of months since I made a return so I decided to risk it, wasn't worth it. Only 2 out of 3 returns were noted to be received by Amazon. Super. I love digging for the Amazon contact info to get a refund. That's how I want to spend my time. Not worth the hassle, I'll drive to Kohls to make returns. read more

I've been here a couple times to drop off packages and each person has been super friendly. They offer to scan and provide me with a receipt instead of having to ask them. They have parking on the side of the building. While it's true the building has been tagged and vandalized I'm not sure how it's their fault. read more

I was looking to get a few full color, larger format prints made in a short turnaround for a public event coming up within about 48 hours of my initial request. The posters came out great and were turned around very quickly - well in time for our event. The highlight of the experience was working with Angie and Gee, who were patient (with my several phone calls), friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and extremely helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. I couldn't come in to see proofs before my client would be picking up the prints and Gee went above and beyond to reassure me about how the print was coming out, checking our QR code, and sharing a photo of how it looked after printing. The customer service was personable, attentive, and professional and I very much appreciate how smooth and productive this experience was. Received open packages from usps in general twice now. Stop going through our mail! This is embarrassing and needs to stop.

I had about 10 packages all ready to go and all for Amazon. When I walked in I politely asked for an individual receipt for each package. I have a valid reason for doing so and attempted to explain. (Not all were my returns and in the past having each individually and numbered makes it easy to prove delivery to Amazon.) My request was met with a look of distain and disgust. In a condescending tone she told me one receipt would do that same thing (No. It would not) and then glared at me. I simply took my packages and walked out the door. I just dropped them off at the UPS Store on Barbur Blvd and they very kindly met my request and in no way attempted to make me feel like a moron for asking. read more

Went to mail a small package for my mom for her birthday and the clerk asked me what was in the package. Instead of asking me whether I shipping anything perishable or flammable ect ect. So I tell him makeup and some hair dye. Then this goth girl w pink bangs who was helping someone else all the way at the end of the counter leaves her customer to come over and interrogate me about my package. She says "What kind of hair dye because hair dye can be flammable". I told her it's not a liquid its like a cream color hair dye that you put on kids hair like the kind you can wash out it like a pomade. I showed her that it was in my hair also my nail beds were a little dyed from me applying it to my hair. She pressed that she needed open my package to make sure. I told her I'd rather not because it's wrapped up very well and it's a gift so I don't want to undo the wrapping because I used tissue paper and tape and it would have ruined the wrapping. She pressed on that she needed to open my package to see what was in it. I offered to show her a picture of the product and description of the product I offered to show her a video I had just made for my mom of me putting it in that same box just few mins ago. She asked why can't I just open the box and see what it is? I told her I really wasn't comfortable with her going through my package Which was tiny (the length of your hand or smaller) she replied in a mocking tone " Well then I don't feel comfortable shipping it." I have to give some big props to Jessica at the UPS store. She went above and beyond DURING A PANDEMIC to make sure I got my urgent work request accomplished... We're in the middle of covid shutdowns and I had a proposal that needed to be sent ASAP. I failed to read the fine print on the RFP where they required a USB drive of the proposal (as well as four printed and bound copies). I had already talked to Jessica about the copies that needed to be made and shipped right away to get to the deadline and called her about whether the UPS store sold USB drives and could put the file on that and ship it with the copies. Jessica told me that unfortunately they did not have USBs but she would just run across the street to Walgreens and put the file on it and add the cost to my bill. She didn't have to do this at all, but she did. She has a fantastic attitude and I am just so incredibly impressed with her, especially when she's putting her life on the line to work right now.
