The woman said the pre paid USPS package I came to drop off she can't print me a receipt for. Upon doing some research, some UPS stores simply choose not to do it to not be "blamed" if the package goes missing. It feels very lazy and customer unfriendly of the owner. If it goes missing in Tennessee on the way to NYC, no one is blaming them! It's USPS that picks it up from them after all! It meant I didn't have proof of where and when I dropped it off, which was required of me and due that day. I was notified the same morning of this duty and was pretty stressed as I was on my way to work, so I couldn't get to the post office for the same receipt because they close before I get off and are too far to go for a break. This may seem small, but if you knew the circumstances, you'd understand. Other UPS stores offer this service, I'd love if there was a list of which do and don't. It was also kind of annoying when the nice gentleman in front of me asked her to help me because his transaction was long, and she said no. This literally happened at another UPS location! I have been a loyal UPS customer for 15 years (5 years at this location). I receive my mail here and occasionally use their shipping services. Today I was informed that my wife (same last name) had received a letter in my box, however they would not give it to me. They said she needed to come pick it up herself, or get a notarized form granting me permission to collect her mail. I tried to explain that my wife has on occasion picked up mail that had my name on it, and I have always done the same for her. But for some reason this time was different. I love the owners of this location. They are very friendly and made me feel like they appreciated my business. However, this pushy aggressive manager was extremely rude and went out of her way to make it clear she does not value my business. I cancelled my mailbox and will not be returning. I was in here recently. I won't be going back. First of all, they weighed my package and gave me a quote. I asked them if that was the most affordable way to send the package and they said there was more affordable option that would get it there a couple of days sooner. I chose the second option, but I was perplexed about why they volunteered a more expensive option that would take longer, instead of giving me the choice without my having to ask. This store has stickers on the floor to direct customers to wind around a packing station in the middle of the store. I can see how this would make sense if there was a huge crowd there, but besides me, there was just one other person. She positioned herself so that she would be the next customer when I finished my business. A store employee loudly told her that she needed to follow the stickers on the floor, to troop around the packing station before she got into position to be the next customer. The customer said, "but I'm the only customer here, it's not necessary for me to make the circuit to get to the front of the 'line'." Run far, far away my friends! They will lose your package then refuse to take responsibility for it. They took my 2 day old computer and lost it. They refused to do anything about it and would not even look around the store for it. Saying they are perfect and never make mistakes. Filed 3 lost packages claims because they told me to and cost me two 2 weeks. Then I am informed, I can't file the claim only Microsoft who generated the return label, and that is why my claims keeps being closed. They do not understand their job or company. Just had a strange visit to this location. The employee by the name Taelyn was very unhelpful and uninformative and a little rude. I asked to ship a package and was told that the address was unavailable to be shipped to "because of Covid," I then asked for clarification on why Covid was stopping the shipping to that location (Pennsylvania), Taelyn said "I don't know." I then asked does this happen often and Taelyn said "yeah." I just left and went to FedEx and the package was shipped without any issues. This store was good to me for a bit. On a neutral level one employee seemed to have a difficult time remembering how to properly label things and it would take 10-15 minutes, but it was always correct and got there when it was meant to. I also used to print a lot. I came here to print out tax info one year. I was there at open and when I walked in the computer was "off/on standby" and I had to log it back in. I proceeded to do my business and everything went as it normally does every single time I've been there until, as I'm deleting everything, the employee tells me I've "chosen to print" in the more expensive specialty ink. Something to that affect. I say okayyyy.... she tells me it'll be a bit more expensive. I'm thinking a few dollars. Fine. I get up there to pay and she tells me it's over $20 for a few pages! Excuse me? I ask why there was no indication of that and she cut me off and told me there was. I told her it's not clear and again she aggressively told me it was. Obviously I disagree or we wouldn't be here! I tell her they need to make the computer reset to default when it's off because people will think they're just printing since it's obviously Not obvious and this isn't right. She tells me it does. So basically you're implying that I intentionally set it to this more expensive ink on purpose even though I did everything as normal. Lady's I work in electronics, I didn't set anything different from standard. You're telling me I'm lying after rudely cutting me off and borderline yelling at me. At this point it feels like a grade A ripoff and she's treating me like l ate all my food and decided to send it back for a full refund. I asked if we could compromise and do half. Again, poor, aggressive treatment. It was disgusting. It felt like she had a persona vendetta and wanted to take it out on me. Don't know what I did to piss her off, all I know is it's covid, I'm strapped for cash so this is a lot for me, and she's holding pages with my ss# in her hand and I'm not about to leave that with someone like her. I've not returned since and I will never ever use UPS again. It's a shame they allow her to get away with such horrible customer "service" and that she seems to hate her job and people to that degree. Major inconvenience. I went to UPS today to get my passport pictures taken. The employee used a cell phone to take my picture and I went on my way with four printed copies. I made it to the passport office and was denied when they saw my photos. These photos were unacceptable because of the color of the background and I had to go get new pictures elsewhere. I attempted to get a simple trust notarized here. I called two days in advance to confirm that they could and would do this, however when I arrived, the Notary present told me absolutely would not perform the service, he refused to have anything to do with notarizing the document (he wouldn't even look the document), word for word "No, I won't do that", and that was the extent of the service I got from this location. I went down ro the UPS store on Scholls Ferry & Hall they did it without question or hesitation in 5 minutes. I cannot comment on other services offered here, however I would strongly suggest against relying on this location for notary services. read more
