I have had a mailbox here for almost 6 years I think... this staff is amazing so helpful-I get lots of packages because I am disabled and so I order many things online and they are so accommodating and help me so much! These people work very, very hard and do such a great job! I just realized I hadn't maybe reviewed them yet so I wanted to do that. Thank you to the team. This is listed as a UPS access point online. What they do not tell you online is that you will pay an extra $10 on top of the change of delivery fee from UPS just to pick it up here. Pretty sneaky and underhanded. I reported them to ups, as that is against ups policy for an access point. They have steep shipping charges as well. Avoid these scam artists. read more

BUYER BEWARE I dropped off two boxes of wine and was told there were too many bottles in one of the boxes. I took 3 bottles with me which left 12 bottles. I received a call two days later stating there were only 9 bottles in the box. Upon receipt, I noticed that the 3 best bottles I bought were not in the shipment. I called the manager and was told since there is not formal process to know what bottles were left with them there was nothing she could do. If you use this place for make sure you thoroughly document what is being shipped. I did not and now I'm out a few bottles of GOOD wine from prominent vineyards. read more

Newberg Mail Room is conveniently located and will quickly and safely package your wine with sturdy styrofoam in a cardboard box. Cost is just $12. After a visit to the Valley, I needed to have some wine shipped back to my house. Newberg Mail Room assisted with packing the wine and kept it for me until the temperatures were low enough to ship. I brought two packages in to be mailed for Christmas. One was being sent to NC, one to PA. They were correct when I left the mail room; however, the put the labels on the wrong boxes. Now my family has to go to the shipping place during the busiest time of year and I have to reimburse them while they are sending the packages to the correct place, costing me twice as much money. I emailed the mail room 3 days ago. I received no response. Terrible customer service! I will spend more to get the job done correctly in the future. read more

These guys and gals are great. My wine shipped when they told me it would (2 weeks out) and came in fantastic shape.

I needed to ship a piece of art, a literal family heirloom, to my sister in San Francisco. Usually when I mail packages, I get a flat rate box and DIY packing. There was no way my packing skills could take on this project, especially since there was glass involved. I called in advance to make sure they could accommodate the size of the frame, they could. So I came in and the piece was packed with care, and arrived safely to California. The staff was lovely and pleasant and really took the time to be sure that it was done right, I was there for about 15 minutes. As an added bonus I was emailed the tracking information (they do it for everyone it was not a special request). Bottom line, I paid just over $20 for these services, and I gladly would have paid much more. They have my speciality packing business for life. read more

I used Mail Room to send a suitcase containing every thing I currently own to France since I am moving there in a few days. They told me it would cost $400 to get it to France, nothing more. I received an email that in order to accept my package, the recipient had to pay an additional $777. No one EVER told me about additional charges. When I went to speak to them about it, they were rude and could care less. Now all of my possessions are held in customs until I figure out how to come up with almost $800!!!!!! I feel like I have been robbed of everything I own and they just shrugged their shoulders. read more

Amazing! We spent a week wine tasting and wanted to ship our wine home. The lovely people at Bergstrom Vineyards recommended The Mailroom. We brought in a case of wine from various wineries (not in a box) and asked them to ship it home. The process was quick and very friendly. I have been a regular patron of this establishment for almost two years. The employees have always been, if not warm, at least professional, and I have always treated them more like neighbors than service providers. A recent panicked inquiry as to a lost heirloom watch led me, the following day, to a face-to-face confrontation with the owner, wherein I was told that she "and all her employees" (there are two) regard me as a "difficult" customer who "asks them the same thing every time." They "dread it when they see me coming." and "do not like dealing with me." Running a business -- and I have run several -- isn't just about getting the job done. It's about treating *every customer/client as *you would wish to be treated. Granted, parcels I have mailed have always reached their destinations in good condition. But no one should be subject to the cruel (I do not exaggerate) and unprofessional diatribe rained upon me today . I make it a point to interact with people in stores and other service establishments: I ask about their kids, pay them a compliment, patiently listen to their woes, always say thank you -- treat them, in other words, as humans, not minions. I don't know what aliens have replaced the "lovely and pleasant" people at Newberg Mailroom, but someone should look into that. read more

I'm incredibly impressed with the packing and shipping job. They were recommended by our wine tour guide. My husband and I had a case of excellent Oregon wine to ship from the west coast to the east. When it arrived, everything was intact. Their packing job was very impressive! Everything was carefully wrapped. Their prices are very reasonable. Great customer service. They only ship the wine when the weather is optimal. I would use them again in a heartbeat. read more
