This would be a 2 star review as our items got mixed up and shipped to the wrong locations, BUT I will say when we called to complain, they were very nice, apologetic and refunded the shipped charges == 3 starts. Thank you! We shipped large items that were quite expensive to ship. We knew that, even though it was expensive we still had to ship the items. Savanah was very nice and helpful as well as the owner / manager? We would give them another try as they made things right for us. They also have a nice store inside. read more

This place is incredibly over priced. I wanted to send a package to Canada approximately 5x8, less than a pound, and they wanted $46. I went to the mailroom down the street and they sent it for $2. Don't even bother here. *UPDATE* While I appreciate the response, the issue isn't about "unexpected costs" or "high-quality materials." My package was already packed and ready to go. I only needed it shipped. UPS quoted me $46 for a small, under-a-pound envelope going to Canada. The mailroom down the street sent it for $2 with no issues. I understand overhead and labor costs exist, but this is more than a slight difference. it's a 2,200% markup. That's not just "pricing based on quality," that's simply not competitive. I won't be returning, and I want others to be aware so they can compare prices before paying. read more

This store is great. I use their self serve printing options and Amazon returns regularly. Not sure why their rating is so low. Staff is always super friendly and has a small town feel where they seem to get to know their customers if you are in with any sort of regularity. read more

I have had a box there for over 5 years. Some time ago when traveling they kept sending me emails that my packages would be returned if they were not picked up, and there was no ability to respond to the email. When I returned and inquired they said that the email was "broken" so they could not receive replies. I have called innumerable times over the years to inquire about various things but no call was ever answered or returned. I have tried to be as considerate and patient as possible when lines are long and usually monitor the crowd and return when they are not overwhelmed. I have written to their area manager and called to alert them that prior to the holiday season they could not handle the load, but emails and phone calls were never returned. Now that things are getting busy, they are losing my packages, I am getting delivery confirmations for packages they have received and cannot find, I am receiving packages with no paperwork, and paperwork with no packages. I continually get confirmations of delivery that they deny and make excuses claiming that it does not mean they were actually received by them. I also see piles of mail and packages mounded behind and in front of the counter at closing that have not been distributed to mail boxes. So I am not receiving my USPS deliveries on time either as far as I can discern. Totally incapable of completing their basic operating functions, let alone additional services. read more

HUGELY inflated prices! (TIP below). In addition to absolutely horrid customer service, this place was going to charge me something like $127 for a box I'd measured carefully, and triple checked the pricing for, on my phone at home. I'd seen $47 which was already a difficult stretch for us! When I got to the store, I had to wait in the freezing cold line that stretched way out the door for sone where between and hour and an hour and a half. I was outside and it didn't even budge for over 40 minutes. When, at long last, I got to the desk, I saw there were only two workers in sight. When she informed me of the price, (after making me struggle to get the box onto the scale from the counter), I was in shock, and asked again, explaining what I'd expected it to be. She was dismissive, and just wanted to know if I was going to pay for it or not. I got my phone out, just trying to figure out what had happened, and attempted to show her, and she just wanted me to get out of the way. I remained cheerful and kind, figuring she was just having a bad day and hoping to shed a little Christmas cheer, but did ask again what she thought had happened, and whether there was any way to ship more slowly or something (anything!) to get it there for less. FINALLY, I got an answer. An answer that astonished me and that YOU NEED TO KNOW! So...they are an independent store and have next to nothing to do with UPS in terms of price (and customer service, I might add). They can charge "whatever they want." I picked up my package and left, feeling horrible for all those poor people still in line... At some point in there, I got this out of her: IF I HAD PRINTED UP MY LABEL and attached it AT HOME, I would pay the amount I'd found on the UPS website (not the store site), and could mail it for that lower price! They were going to charge me FIVE TIMES more than what it should really cost! And, I think, after observing for a very long time, that you can even skip the line if you do this. I saw quite a few people passing the line by and just setting their packages on the counter. Not that I would feel comfortable doing that. =/ These incredibly dismissive, rude people are fleecing Newberg! I hope the whole of Yamhill, Co and beyond can start saving a lot of money by doing the above, if not looking for a new shipping spot. The whole time this woman had no eye contact with me! There was no greeting, and she was downright and embarrassingly loud and rude. UGH. Hope this helps! Avoid if you possibly can!! read more

Shipped 2 boxes to Utah and not delivered got sent back cost me 2 weeks and went into store to talk to the manager she was rude not wanting to solve the problem I'll never use this store again it was the correct address basically the manager said she look into problem when she got around to it I just want the boxes reshipped or my money back I'm was very mad about this problem and no help at all from the manager . It always amazes me when change of ownership or NEW management happens-And it shows you How bad actually new management it could become. Now, Customer service is unfortunately invisible pretty much it's labeled "go away " or "We don't need your business". Do better. We came in to get copies of a digital document. standing in a long line, we finally get to the counter to be told to wait for the other employee as they knew how to do this. We waited and after the employee was done with their current customer, she goes over and helps another customer who was three behind us. She is interrupted to say we have been waited, she comes to help us but continues to stop and help the other customer. When we finally get the prints they are not done correctly. read more

I have been going here for years. The 1st owner who put the store in understood customer service. Clearly, he sold this store to someone else. Customer service is getting worse and worse. And now, I will not return. Today, I brought in a box to send to Arizona. It was a repurposed Amazon box. I had taken all their markings off. What I hadn't realized was there was a picture of batteries in the bottom corner. When the customer service guy, who had no personality and was very slow, began to measure, he noticed the picture and said that it could be on there. "Take it off". I tear the main part off and he said that everything had to be off. He stood there watching me struggle as could not get one corner off without an exacto knife. I said, "I can't get this off". He just looked at me. So I took the box and left and won't be back. They used to put white tape over things like this. Stay away from this store. read more

The customer service rep, Sarah, required that I put the box on the scale even though i had placed it in the counter less than six inches fr m the scale. It is less than three (3) weeks before Xmas. The shipping madness has begun, EXCEPT at the UPS store in Newberg, OR. They open at 8:30 a.m.. I arrived at 8:35. There were five (5) people in the store, all with packages to ship, and only ONE (1) person behind the counter. What the heck!!! Took me 30 SECONDS to complete my return to Amazon but I had to wait 30 MINUTES just to get to the counter. It's only going to get worse, UPS. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE HOLIDAYS! read more

I don't usually write reviews, however, I was extremely thankful for the kind gesture the employee today did. I've got 2 kids under 2, and when you need to return packages it can be challenging loading and unloading the kids and the packages. He saw me out front (struggling) and opened the door, walked out and grabbed my packages so I could get the kids into the store. Thank you so much! After standing in line for 15 minutes with only 2 customers in front of me, who were both being helped, I was finally able to try and mail my package. The person helping me was quite short with me and took one look at the address I was mailing to and told me they can't ship it to an address like that. So apparently, UPS doesn't ship to dorms? Or maybe just this store because I've had no problems with it elsewhere. read more

I've been getting my mail here for about ten years. I appreciate that I get a lot of packages and their system keeps track of them and they don't lose anything. I also lost my former husband almost two years ago and they have been so helpful and compassionate in regards to his mail and my children's insurance documents. I have only been into this location a couple times and each time I've had a bad experience with the same employee. The first time I came in to pick up an item I waited until he expressed he was ready, but he gave me a condescending look that seemed to say "I'm waiting." I then gave a brief description of why I was there and he seemed very frustrated. This behavior continued the rest of our encounter. I played it off as a bad day and left. On another day I came to ship an item back to Amazon. I had expressed to a friend that I had never done it before and she set it up for me and told me that they would print the label for me and that I should keep the box open for another paper she always has to add. So I brought it in with the box and again no greeting. I mentions what I needed and he just waited until I asked "What do you need? My name?" He condescendingly said he needed the code located in the email. So I brought it up and then he taped up the box and expressed that I should have taped it myself, so I expressed what my friend had told me. He answered that I should really read the instructions. While I agree that I could have been better informed, there wasn't anyone in line and even with him explaining the steps it didn't take long. Simply said, I won't be returning. read more

Overinflated prices, sarcastic service...I think the fax is like $.20 per page...it'll cost you double the price of regular postage if you send USPS...and the kicker for me was this: I have a UPS account, but I can't ship from here! Isn't this a UPS store? The manager looks at me and says "you are going to have to take that to UPS" uhhhhh, this is the UPS store is it not? Save your time and money! Go across the street to the NEWBERG MAIL ROoM because they are awesome. Three stars because u do have a mailbox there that they will politely retrieve my mail if I forget my key. read more

The UPS store near the sandwich express, is so ridiculous!! The store with the angry man who runs the store at night was so incredibly rude and sarcastic to me I was literally shocked and uncomfortable. He kept yelling at me and basically talked down to me, telling me to go to some other store to pick up an item, that I did not know I had to go too. Had I known in the beginning I would not have gone, yet when I told him this he talked down to me like I was a child and I am far from a child. I have never been talked to in such a way, and made to feel like that ever in my life. Do not go to this store because odds are that you will be dealing with the same rude person I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with a recent visit to this UPS store was very unpleasant. I recently went to this store to notarize a document, specifically a parcel map document made of mylar. The gentleman that was there alone almost became combative when explained that I needed a notary public for a document. When I further explained that the document is of mylar, he became even more abusive because he said he didn't know what mylar was. To be fair, it is a little unusual, but mylar is simply a plastic used for municipal recording. I'm not sure, but either this person was either drinking on the job or was on drugs. He then preceded to tell me I didn't know what a Notary public was. At this point, I still wasn't too put off and then preceded to open the document to show this person what mylar actually is. I then pointed out the areas marked on the document indicating where was suppose to signed. I asked if he help me? Once again, told me I didn't know what a notary was. I finally had enough retail abuse and told him to forget it. He seemed almost happy I was leaving. Upon leaving I explained that I was going to run a search on the internet and find out what a NOTARY public is. I just knew it would make him happy. I then went to a different UPS store in Sherwood and completed everything I needed to do in about five minutes all with no issues. Unless you like being abused by people behind a counter making minimum wage, I would suggest staying as far away from this place as possible. One star is too much. read more

Took a package with a tracking number to this store so they could print a shipping label. I was told they could not print one, only the driver can do this. I questioned why the UPS driver that picks up the packages at night was not able to print the shipping label. The owner became very rude and told me I have 2 options, leave with the box or they would throw it away. Frustrated with the owner I told him to throw it away. After my shopping I went back to this store to get the box. Again the rude owner stormed into the back room and brought me the box which had been opened by them. I questioned why they opened the box instead of just throwing it away and the owner told me to leave the store now or he was going to call the police. He had no right to open the box which I believe is against the law. The only reason the box was opened was so he could see if the contents were something he wanted to keep for himself. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. Don't use this store unless you want to experience the same unprofessional attitude. I plan on never returning! read more
